He was recently sent a bill from the U.S. State Department for $6,199.21 due to plane tickets bought for him and his family to leave Saudi Arabia and return to the U.S. If he does not pay it by July 2nd, the amount will increase due to penalties. He details the entire story in the video above about initially fleeing the war in Yemen to Saudi Arabia, and then being unable to obtain a residence visa for various reasons beyond his control, which led to his exportation from Saudi Arabia and the plane ticket charges.

I could not tell you about Mauritania because I have never been there. They are very strong in memorization but weak in implementation. You will find a shaykh that has memorized everything, and he trims his beard and drags his thobe on the ground.

Love listening to this brother, his story and background resonates so very much. It also highlights something that’s often overlooked in discussions like this - the very real disparities white Muslim reverts undergo when they revert. It’s unusual, we don’t have any particular group, tribe or affiliation when we enter Islam - there is no community for us and because of our reversion to Islam, we’re separated from our own community. Difficult to articulate but it’s a unique position and one with many difficulties.

I don’t know if this is stupid cause I’m from a different part of the world, but I had read some article about how there is a lack of Muslim ‘chaplains’ in US prisons. It is a paid job from what I can remember, maybe if the brother is interested he can look into it.

May my mother and father be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah!” The Prophet said, “The greatest in wealth, except for those who spend like this, or this, or this.”

Nothing satisfies the belly of the son of Adam but the dust of the grave, yet Allah will relent to whoever repents.”

The Prophet said, “The son of Adam boasts: My wealth! My wealth! My dear brothers, I have benefited from you both. However, I wish you could clear one thing for me. Around the issue of the scholars like Sh Rabeei warning against Sh Hajoori who was based in Dammaj. Can you shed some light on this issue please?
Scholars have differed for hundreds of years. The differing that happens between the Scholars is an issue that is dealt with by the Scholars. Our job in America is to call the people to the Sunnah. Call the people to Tawheed. Our job is not to call the people to get involved in issues that came up between the Scholars. Shaykh Yahya is my shaykh, but I am not in America to call to him. I am here to call to the Sunnah. Shaykh Yahya calls the people to the Sunnah in Yemen, and the people of Yemen love him. My job is to do that here. So-called students of knowledge that come back to America and call the people to these problems between Scholars are not real students of knowledge. They are charlatans that sat in different centers of learning for a handful of months, returned to the West, and set themselves up as Scholars. They were never recognized as being serious students of knowledge in the places that they studied. May Allah protect the Muslims.
DOUBT 53. Shaikh Rabee deemed Shaikh Yahyaa to be the most harmful individual to ad-Da'wah as-Salafiyah
RESPONSE:
From the time this fitnah began, over seven years ago up until today, we didn't have a single book written by the flag-bearer of Jarh wa Ta'deel in this era, Shaikh Rabee bin Hadi al-Madkhalee exposing and clarifying Shaikh Yahya's innovation and misguidance. Therefore, if this statement of Shaikh Rabee' is indeed true, then where are the evidences and proofs which establish Shaikh Yahyaa's opposition to the Qur'an and Sunnah so we may all beware??
However, most recently, after many long years Shaikh Rabee'bin Hadi al-Madkhalee may Allah rectify his condition and ours has finally produced two complete volumes in clarification of what he viewed to be errors which occurred from Shaikh Yahyaa al-Hajoori -may Allah aid hi- in one of his books.
Shaikh Yahyaa may Allah aid him- authored a book over 13 years ago titled, "ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah" where he mentioned in that book:
"From that which was made easy for me by Allah was the gathering (of the names of) whatever Companions I was able to, that have (narrated) only one here in the Six Books and Musnad Ahmad for two reasons:
Firstly, acquainting oneself with the Companions may Allah be pleased with them- and preponderating an opinion establishing the fact that an individual was, or was not a Companion -as the case may be- we reference the three comprehensive compilations which are: Al-Istee'ab by Ibn 'Abdil Barr, Usd Al-Ghābah by Ibn Atheer, and Al-Isābah by Ibn Hajar."
Even with this clarity of Shaikh Yahyaa, Shaikh Rabee' may Allah better his condition derived from it the following baffling conclusion:
"In this book of his, he (Yahyaa) does not quote biographical material related to the Companions, in fact, he does not even say, "May Allah be pleased with them."
Shaikh Yahyaa responded to this absurd claim on page (24) of his article Nubadun Nabeelah... by saying:
"...even more appalling is Shaikh Rabee's allegation that I do not say, "May Allah be pleased with them (i.e. about the Companions)". He wishes to support his accusation that I don't love the Companions from which I seek refuge in Allah.
One can plainly see that in the introduction to my book (i.e. ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah) I say, ...and surely from the beneficial sciences and research topics which are fruitful is being acquainted with the Companions of the Messenger, taking pleasure in reading their biographies and benefitting from their (superior) characteristics and great noble deeds -may Allah be pleased with them all-]
In this, and all my other books, lessons and sermons I say, "May Allah be pleased with them" unless it happens to be omitted during typesetting by the printers for the sake of brevity."
As for myself, all praise is for Allah, I consider love for the Companions and saying, "May Allah be pleased with them" an act of worship that draws me closer to Allah "
As it is seen here, as early as the forward of the book ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah, Shaikh Yahyaa May Allah preserve him supplicates seeking for the pleasure of Allah to be upon the Companions of the Messenger of Allah. Shaikh Yahyaa May Allah aid him throughout the book ar-Riyaadh al-Mustadhaabah goes on to supplicate for the pleasure of Allah to be upon them more than seventy five times.!
Most astonishing of all, the noble Shaikh Yahyaa bin Ali May Allah aid him pointed out in his dignified response to Shaikh Rabee' Nubadun Nabeelah ...(25) in Shaikh Rabee's book Bayanal-Imaamain; Muslim wa Daraqutni rarely will you find that he supplicates for the pleasure of Allah to be upon them!?.
In light of this, it is clear to see that the statement of Shaikh Rabee' -May Allah rectify his condition is surely in opposition to the statement of Allah:
{وَإِذَا قُلْتُمْ فَاعْدِلُواْ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَبِعَهْدِ اللّهِ أَوْفُواْ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ}(الأنعام:١٥٢)

There is much much more than what you mentioned, but it is good enough of an example for the people to understand that the attack on the Shaykh is an agenda, and it is not for the truth. May Allah preserve the Shaykh. Anybody that actually took the time to read Shaykh Yahya's response to Shaykh Rabee, which was a 900 plus page response, won't make it 100 pages without the truth being as plain as the sun at noon on a clear day.
