Fixed it? This is over 6 hours later and it is NOT fixed. Cannot watch past 6 minutes in. :( And I know it is not me, because I have just watched about 7 of your other videos from various channels.
For $59K, you can get the Advanced GV60 model with almost the same specs as the Performance GV60 that you drove (sans air suspension, Napa leather, and electronic limited slip diff.), which makes the Ioniq 5 Limited at $55-56K pale in comparison to the premium vibe and luxury of the GV60. Stepping down to the Ioniq 5 only makes sense if you get a much less expensive trim level. I love the looks and space of the Ioniq 5, but also love the amenities and luxury of the GV60. If only Hyundai could cross-breed those two models in some way that wouldn't give you a Dr. Moreau mongrel with two tails and a bad disposition.
Same thing. I got the Genesis gv60 perf too for the same reason. , Comparing these two vehicles based on msrp is not reflective of the market currently in 2022. Markups are quite high on the hyundai and Kia.
@@saisundaraghavan I don't get it. After markups the Kia/Hyundai are within a few thousand of the GV60. I got mine for MSRP + $890 of accessories. Here in California we get the $750 Clean Air Rebate.
@@TheCarCrazyGuy Even without markups.. the GV60 Advanced is about $1,000 more than a EV6 GT-Line AWD. Very similar spec and feature wise too. I have the EV6 GT Line but I would have taken a GV60 if it was available at the time maybe or the Ioniq 5 limited if I coulda found one at MSRP like I did the EV6.
The glove compartment in Norwegian Ioniq 5 is much bigger than US model. As a taxi in Oslo (Norway) my HI5 RWD 72 kWh battery start with 550 km - 340 miles - now in the summer. In the big frunk I have washing gear, food etc.
I'm all about complete value. It doesn't matter to me that the Genesis has a nicer interior and better ride quality. Why do you have to pay $15,000 more and you get less range? Doesn't make any sense to me.
Another problem with the Genesis, it's currently only available in 4 or 5 states, with no indication of when it will be available to the rest of the country.
They cheaped out a bit on the American ioniq.... Australian ioniq for example got the same glove draw and sun roof as the Genesis. It also received full reclining front seats with leg rests for both driver and passenger. Not sure why they cut so many corners in US on this one.
Im sorry but the Genesis looks like a modern day Saturn and just from the exterior anesthetics, it doesn't bring an iconic look like the Hyundai. Great overall comparison though.
Why get us excited about EVs that will not have the $7500 Federal incentive? 😫 This unfortunate law is forcing Americans to Tesla since the other EVs made in the US can't compete with Tesla as Hyundai can.
The Ioniq 5 has the same drawer glovebox compartment in other countries. For some reason, it doesn’t come in us models. And yes the video cuts out for several minutes.
The sliding glove compartment/drawer was available on the Ioniq 5 in Europe, at least when it was first released. Based on that we expected the same to be available in NA but alas.
I think I need to redo the video cuts in and out I don’t know what you’re talking about the cars. Was looking at the first car then all of a sudden we jump into the second car while you’re driving
Stop talking about price. Both these manufactures do not set the price the dealers do. Most of these are marked up over 10k in my area… so, these are not cheap cars.
why would anyone buy this $69K unproven, no charging network, 235 mile range- when you can buy a Model Y performance for the same or a Model Y LR and pocket 5K?
If you want to have any credibility as EV journalists, you should first learn how to pronounce the names of the cars correctly. It appears that anyone can drive a car, it is more difficult to tell someone what you drive.....
We fixed the "dead-spot" in the video. Thank you for your patience and understanding. -TFLstudios
Still having the issue
And when did you do this----pray tell?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Having the dead spot issue. Just played it a few minutes ago. All resolutions.

yeah the sounds gone to visit the queen
Looks like your video has a 4minute dead spot that starts at six minutes in. Still a great video
I was coming on here to post the exact same thing. Glad I read it's 4 minutes, I thought it was just dead after the 6 min mark
i thought i just had a shit connection and was bitching at youtube. it was the video itself then.
We fixed the dead spot. Sorry about that.
@@TFLEV no problem, just mentioned it in case you didn't know. Thanks guys
@@TFLEV it still doesn't work

I really wanted an Ioniq 5 Limited AWD. Dealers were marking them up $10k+. Found a GV60 Performance at MSRP. So I purchased it.
me too

@@Mildern it’s tough out there!
Just an FYI your video went balack at 6:05 through 10:51.
I love that Ioniq 5.!!!
Nathan: "If you were to give me a big fat raise, I'd buy the Genesis."
Roman: "Hyundai it is!"
Junk it is!
The Advanced is different suspension than the Performance. Most sales are Advanced than Performance. Could you review that instead?

What on earth processed Genesis to design a badge that could be mistaken for that of Chrysler - considered a pretty down market brand here in Europe
I've never mistaken it for Chrysler...
I'm all about complete value. It doesn't matter to me that the Genesis has a nicer interior and better ride quality. Why do you have to pay $15,000 more and you get less range? Doesn't make any sense to me.
Maybe just me, but 230 mile range for 70K in 2022 seems a bit Low.
It’s just you.
Agreed!
Another problem with the Genesis, it's currently only available in 4 or 5 states, with no indication of when it will be available to the rest of the country.
Both cars come with a 10k+ mark up where I live. You can’t finance the mark up, so it’s like 15k out of pocket if you want the Ioniq
The blind spot cameras sound like a good idea, but your dash is the last place you should be looking if making a lane change.
I’d forgo the power in the Ionic and opt for rear wheel drive for more range. Although, 250 is plenty of range in my experience.
Ioniq. Not Ionic.
I can’t imagine needing more than the 320 hp on the AWD Ioniq 5.
just try gv60 BOOST and feel the POWER
I really appreciate it when you guys talk through the different styling cues of a car. It helps me understand why I like one car more than another.

For cargo i'll choose the Hyundai but my preferences are gv60, EV6, ioniq 5
I'll wait a bit longer for ioniq 5 N..
Making videos with your dad is awesome.

The Ioniq 5 for sure. Far superior power and looks WAY better.
Excellent editing with the 4 minute dead space...might be time to pay attention to the fit and finish of your videos.

I'm lost. They were accelerating in one car. Then sound would cut out. But on my phone, the vid suddenly shifts to being in the other car.
Think Nathan lost Romans attention right away when he said something about a big fat raise!!$$$😂🤣 Enjoy the day guys!!😃

6:13 to 10:54 went blank ?
Yeah. I thought it was my VPN

Totally agree!!! GV60!!!
Is it just me that had blank screen from 6:05 to 10:55?? Or did others have the same thing...
@TFLEV Dead air video at 6:05 until 10:55
Genesis looks a little better, but I'd go the less expensive one.
Something wrong with the video no audio
Genesis has come a long way!
what song from Styx?
4 minutes of black screen no sound between 6min and 10 min
Genesis is worth the extra money!
“I’m still choosing the Hyundai!”….cuz I didn’t get that raise! Hahaha!!
Fun buddy video.
Same battery but the Genisis is a performance model. Range can't be compared.
so no one watches the final edits huh?
There still seems to be a dead spot in the video.
5 minutes of dead video around min 6-11
I will also report black screen for a long time.
All it takes is a few party tricks to get ppl to empty their wallet.
You guys realize that these models are 5 to 10k over dealer MSRP wherever you go.
I'm probably being unnecessarily pedantic, but as an FYI, Tommy. The pronunciation is "moe-teef."
Otherwise, love the vid! Thanks, team!
No. It’s moe-tive.
I would pick the Ioniq on looks alone, but I think they all look awful personally.
12:34 Drink white tea.
Kia boys salivating over these two cars
Sounds like 2 of you went American and went for cosmetics versus value for dollar.
I own a Hyundai Ioniq 5 SEL trim level
Frunks are over rated. Put the space elsewhere.
Dead spot still there!
Genesis every time , as it needs that bit of luxury since Ev feels quite soulless or one trick pony in a line
I like the nob better than touch screen.

no
I like the Genesis

Deal breaker.
That Genesis wheels and paint do it no justice.. looks horrible.

The inside of these cars is ugly. Hope they improve the looks
