    It is more than amazing I really enjoyed it and you gave a lot of ideas .. could you tell which type of quilting foot I can get?

    • @BoldNotionQuilting
      @BoldNotionQuilting  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just have the westalee ruler foot and the spring action foot that came with my machine. I like the open toe spring action foot I have. The dealer for your machine could show you your options and could let you decide. I would go with whichever one gave me the best line of sight

    Which Longarm machine are you using in this video? Doesn’t look like APQS.

  • @siscarmichael2949
    @siscarmichael2949 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Im really new at using my new longarm and I’ve found your style and videos really help me, so thank you for that..I have a question and comment...when you mentioned increases your stitches per inch, what do you set it at? My comment is...you apologize for being sloppy, but I don’t see it at all! Your amazing!

    I am wondering if you are doing this in manual or regulated mode?

    • @BoldNotionQuilting
      @BoldNotionQuilting  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kim Hazlett regulated.. but manual would be better for the pebbles and circles. i like regulated for feathers

    What kind of sewing machine is this?

    Do you ever do a video that is not so full of stitches? Something that would work as a meander but more esthetic or just different from meander that would not end up in rows but flow over the whole area. Thanks You have a nice voice and speak as if you are talking to equals.

    • @BoldNotionQuilting
      @BoldNotionQuilting  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Geraldine! I have a quick video on topography but could certainly do a few with wider stitching

    Do you have sit down videos?

    • @BoldNotionQuilting
      @BoldNotionQuilting  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't do them on my sit-down normally. I do have like 2 videos on my facebook page facebook.com/boldnotionquilting I like to think of free motion quilting as a language though. you can learn just as much from a longarmer as you can from a sit-down teacher and vise versa. because it is all in how the design is created, not what machine you are working on. I hope this is helpful and good luck!

    • @pamelavalley4765
      @pamelavalley4765 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do sit down and use costco gardening gloves to move the quilt sandwich. It works the same way to create a design. Make some practice couch size or baby quilts because practice makes all the difference. Drawing speeds up your learning too. Non quilters love all these quilts and there are family and needy people who will enjoy your first efforts.
      It is easier to get good results on 36x 45 than on 12 x 12.

    I love watching you work, because your amazing, but the camera jumps as your sewing which makes it very difficult to watch. I don’t know if it bothers anyone else, but it’s hard for me to watch... I thought it was important for you know that.

    • @BoldNotionQuilting
      @BoldNotionQuilting  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, this video is quite old I am curious if the newer videos do this enough to bother you with the enhanced stabilization

    • @siscarmichael2949
      @siscarmichael2949 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I subscribe to your channel, but I’m not sure what’s newer... if you have a suggestion of something to watch, I’ll check it out, but in the meantime I’ll look for something newer.

    • @BoldNotionQuilting
      @BoldNotionQuilting  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Feathers 4 ways is newer. There should be a date on the videos or just below them the ones you're watching I probably shot with my phone like 3 years ago. The ones now I'm using a camera that helps to auto stabilize anything 2017 or 2018 and newer should be better
