    Awesome! Thanks for all of the ideas. Having been a LA quilter since 1992, (pre SR era) I find myself being more comfortable quilting in constant mode. SR is a gift for ruler work though!

    Love to watch you two stitching! And by the way - Adults are too afraid of you Linda! I took an All Day Experience class with you at MQX in 2014 and was so excited and nervous.     I love how you two are just playing and enjoying the process! I also love your machine! it just purrs!! I don't know much about Gammill machines, I will have to check them out! I do know they are one of the three I am looking at.

    I was waiting to see the finished product! Love all the designs. I'm curious to see what the textures look like on this now that ir is quilted. Love the collaboration of you two! Maybe we should all try this approach for a change of pace.

    I liked the whole video but I thought when you stitched the lines across the back, I thought why not follow the same dimensions as in the ribbon mane. I liked it though and thank you for sharing.👍🏼

    I made 8 Lisa the Unicorn blocks for a twin, and now I'm terrified to start quilting!!! you make it look easy, and I know with practice I'll get better, but in the meantime I'm paralyzed :(

      Linda is using a Gammill Statler 30, but using it in freehand mode which would be comparable to the Gammill Vision 30.

      @@etlzjj84 , they normally fit on a 1/2" hopping foot. However, every brand makes their hopping feet a little different. Some people have bought them and made the adaption to make them work, but putting a piece of masking tape on the inside to help keep them on if they were to loose, to using an emery file to file them down a little if they were to tight to get on.

    I don't feel free doing this because it looks sloppy to me. The feathers look sloppy and I feel like everything has to be exact. Being too critical stops creativity, I know. But I can't get past wanting everything to look clean when I put all the work into piecing.
