I actually live a 2 hour train ride away from this place and since i saw the video and got to know that it's so near me i want to travel there just for the sake of seeing this place in real life.
One of the great things in Germany is that you can live in a small rural village with lots of nature, and work in a world class company 10 minutes away. No need to live in big cities.
Zoran is beast. He is amazing like director. Altough his ideas are so dark, in Lindemann he has more liberty of do what he wants to do in videos. You can see why Lindemann videos are more MORE darker and explicit that Zoran’s videos of Rammstein. Sorry for my bad english haha

Sometimes I thought that I would enjoy living in isolation, and then this covid thing happened, and I learned that living by myself and not seeing anyone in days sucks. I really enjoy this making of and your reaction to it, thanks! They really seem like they had such a fun time shooting this.

After watching the making of, I tend to see this video different from the typical interpretation. Most explanations talk about Till's character being seduced and betrayed by the girl. I view it as his character is envisioning a relationship that isn't there/isn't real. He sees these glances as inviting. He dreams of her laying next to him, while he's laying under her bed. He thinks by killing her parents he will win her. Then the reality kicks in.

The video is actually talking about a monk who has a "relationship" with a girl, the lyrics and the perspective of the lyrics sometimes make us forget that it is actually a criticism of pedophilia, that's why within the listening video " hallelujah ".
1:56 Schneider's hat may or may not be a "cappello romano" which is worn by Catholic clergy, particularly in Italy apparently - please correct me if I'm wrong - I am NOT an expert on clerical clothing whatsoever! Paul's skullcap looks reasonably similar to what is called a "zucchetto", but is is associated with various Catholic, Oriental Orthodox and Anglican churches so even if I did identify it correctly, I won't be able to narrow it down to one particular church. Richard's headgear is what is called a "klobuk" - made up of a "kamilavka" (hat) with an "epanokamelavkion" (veil) attached to it - this is the only one I feel fairly certain about as it is by far the most easily identifiable. It is associated with both Eastern Orthodox and Eastern Catholic churches so again, I won't be able to narrow it down any further. As for the other three, no idea (yet). 0:30 Well don't we all, lol. I don't think Richard found his headgear very comfortable to wear though, or why else would he prefer carrying it around the set like in several behind the scenes pictures and also at 10:37. He only seems to be putting it on right before they are shooting scenes. In virtually all pictures I have seen from downtime on the set, he is wearing the hood up on his cloak instead.
Oh, and don't take me wrong, but in the last couple of videos and especially this one you notice many details in the making-of that you missed when doing the initial reaction. IMHO, this is because you were reacting to a video with lyrics, which can be really distracting because you automatically focus on the wrong parts of the video (where the text is). Perhaps you could react to the official video, but later cut in the lyrics version if that's for copyright reasons. Or watch the lyrics version right after and cut that 2. "mini-reaction" down to the text highlights or something.
You're most likely right. Honestly, this song was really fast paced and packed with imagery. I did miss a lot of stuff... but at the same time reading the lyrics and checking out the visuals really helps me as well. It's part of the experience. If only I spoke German...
