One of the funniest things for me in the making-of videos are the interview snippets with Flake and Paul who both can tell jokes or random bs with a straight face. I feel like this may be part of the story/prejudice that the average German does not know humor. Many details are just lost in translation. Obviously this goes in many ways, for example I feel like I miss 90% of some US stand-up comedians just because I don't get the reference.
I think it all begins with the fact that most of them (especially Paul and Richard) didn't like what he has done with the Paris Concert, but Jonas did a video for the last Rammstein record (Zeig Dich) but it never got released because the band didn't liked the video. Also if you want some History of Rammstein I recommend you to watch "Rammstein in Amerika" the documentary is amazing, I think it's also available with Amazon prime.
i liked paris concert it was unique, theres only so many times you can have a live dvd, i maybe would have left out the CGI of flake lightning on keyboard, and fake tongue and such, but the fast paced editing and 300 camera angles i enjoyed it. wonder what the zeig dich video was like, Jonas should leak that shit online!!

Hey Xsezz, for me you aren't a guy who reacts. You are now a real fan of Rammstein. You are in much ways better than all the others who react and find the videos disgusting or wild or dumb or so on. You made it right, you watch those things that are behind the curtain, take your time and just look. Thanks for that!
The thing with Jonas is they probably work with him at convenience. He is obviously in high demand but based in America. So doesn't always suit their schedule. They don't have many videos after this. Deutschland is a new director , Specter Berlin (who was pretty much a complete unknown having done little to nothing else, which is insane when you watch the video) and Radio and Auslander is with Jörn Heitmann again who you know from Sonne, Ich Will, Keine Lust etc. The monster stadium tour and pandemic put a halt on any others. There was talks of Zeig Dich having a video but will probably never happen now as they are working on a new album

Baywatch and Hasselhoff were /are hugely popular in Germany /Austria .. I believe that Hasselhoff' actually has several hit songs in Austria over the years
Not sure how you didn't recognize the mask, when you said you didn't recognize it. It was the "dragon masks" they always use in Feuer Frei. And the song with Paul and Richard playing guitars on fire is Du Riescht So Gut. I think the particular video of it was in Budapest
Yo, if you get the chance, get yourself the Live in New York DVD and watch the full Documentary of Rammstein. You will learn so much about them and it's definitely worth the 2 hours of watchtime.
28:48 Interesting that "knock on wood" translates to " fingers crossing". 33:41 The song was Adios! It was this concert in some parking lot in the US. The sound was miserable and most of the audience had more to do with eating their junk food.
