Sergio Mendez is so great and very talented. He is still around. I love this song so much, especially when it's sung in Portuguese. Brazilian jazz is wonderful and love listening to it. You can't get tired of this music. Marvelous! 💖🤩🎹

I first saw this performed on Johnny Carson. I was just blown away and it because immediately one of my favorite songs.
Soft, beautiful harmonies and that rhythmic wonder of bossa nova. After years still gives me a special lift.

That's not correct.
Personally, I rather the original portuguese version.
I read years ago that the original version was written in English when Jobim lived in the US.
