I completely get where you’re coming from @mourningcoffeemusic. I think a lot of the younger generation have issues with attention in general and with so much short form content out there now days, I don’t necessarily blame them.
Honestly I loved it. I’ve already rewatched Part 1 again since and plan on seeing Part 2 again in the next 1-2 weeks when it starts to die down a bit! 😄
@@JacksonM91 Part one had way better world building, Arakis really had the feel of this hell hole owen planet, and way less plot holes. You can see it all in our video about it, which in no way is as refined as yours, but we just did it as Dune part one kicked off our channel. We actually review 1980 trash movies :)
Honestly I think I prefer Part 1 as well for the same reasons you mention but I can’t deny that I really enjoyed part 2 as well. I appreciate the compliment and i’ll make sure to give your channel a sub and check out your content 😃
Horribly disappointing...stick to the book...instead of bowing to modern societal drivel. Graphics 10...story 0. Hollywood unforgivably turned Chani into a dis-likable, defiant, testosterone-infused modern girl boss who rode off into the sun set on a worm. This removed a key turning point for Paul as his power to "look into the future " made him select the best path for the future knowing that this path would result in his beloved Chani being killed during an attack? Another stinker was making up the freemen sub groups - the North freemen (intellectual-atheists) and the Southern (fundamentalist dolts). Fake Chani of course was a northern and was beyond all the Messiah hype.
From now on every time someone says a film is boring I’ll just assume they’re a child.

Top tier film
What was your favourite bit @nerdlife23-jx5ug ? 😄
lol it doesn't
With a few amazing highlights, I just thought the movie overall was just meh. SO many totally avoidable plot holes
Sorry to hear you didn’t rate it. Did you like part 1 out of interest?

Grow the fuck up
Sorry to hear that @rancherjoetennessee782 - did you like Dune part 1 out of interest?
@@JacksonM91 No big issues with #1.
Idk I kinda agree but also disagree it’s like we’re getting a big what if senario here
