It´s telling that this movie - despite the noticeable German accents and a little wooden acting - easiliy surpasses the Disney sequels in regard to actual enjoyment derived from watching it. This goes to show what can be achieved with passion and respect for the source material. Kudos to the entire crew and thank you for your work!

Even tho this fan-film was recorded and edited years and years ago (2008 right ? Better inform people about it so they can avoid being too harsh about the CGI and stuff), I enjoyed it and I CANNOT wait for the second episode ! The fact that you guys went to the actual locations is just amazing, Naboo, Kashyyyk, and Tatooine... wow just wow. This needs to be shared everywhere ! You guys deserve it !
@@poodooFXTeam 2006 !? Wow can you imagine, I was 10 at the time ! But yeah you guys did great, episode 1 was awesome, a lot of effort on the production, alien costumes etc... This really felt like watching A New Hope again, even the way the aliens moved felt like A New Hope haha, and can we talk about Cad Bane ? That's so cool that you put him there. Btw I saw your behind the scene videos and those were great too ! But yeah can't wait for episode 2 !
Cad Bane was already filmed in in 2016. But after his appearance in "Book of Boba Fett" we decided to replace the masks eyes with CGI eyes to have a more similar look to the official one. Actually this was finished just a couple of weeks before the premiere :-)

Gut Ding will Weile haben. Habe seit 2006 immer eure Berichte verschlungen und jetzt ist es da. War tatsächlich an den Reisetagebüchern fast genauso interessiert wie am Film selbst. Glückwunsch
Wow, ich habe zum ersten Mal so etwa 2008 oder 2009 das erste Mal eure Hörspiele gehört. Ich war damals etwa 7 oder 8 Jahre alt und konnte nicht genug von Star Wars bekommen. Eure Hörspiele haben mich jahrelang beim Einschlafen begleitet. Mit 13 habe ich die Audios wiedergefunden und eure Fanseite besucht und bemerkt, dass ein Film entstehen soll. Heute sehe ich die erste Folge und kann es gar nicht glauben, dass das Projekt so realisiert werden konnte. Ich bin echt froh die Website wiederentdeckt zu haben und heute die Serie in dieser Qualität so sehen zu können. Echt verrückt wie mich über Jahre dieses Projekt begleitet hat und ihr es geschafft habt alles fertigzustellen. Ich freue mich echt auf die nächsten Folgen!!!!

Hey, this flick is really a good watch. Totally worth your time from first to last frame. The reconstruction of some of the more iconic frames in the franchise's history is either very well replicated, or some of the most beautiful 'mistakes'ever put to film. So many practical effects! The Hammer Head prosthetic's eyes even blink! Where did your crew get all the costuming and practical make-up effects? The collection featured is amazing. Thanks for publishing! 🎥🎬🎭 I just realized how long you've been working on this project. Massive respect to the entire crew for this production. Oh, and are there more episodes?!😊

Auch die ganzen Auftritte von altbekannten Charakteren, wie Boba oder Cad Bane und so vielen weiteren sind grandios! Ich bin schon gespannt auf den zweiten Teil.

Congratulations on releasing your epic work. Sorry I missed the cinema premiere! You can truly be proud of yourselves to have finished this gigantic project and fulfil your dreams with it. A real inspiration for everyone and true to the saying: finish what you start (even if it takes 15 years…) :)
Habe erst die Doku gesehen und jetzt den Film. Bin total begeistert. Ihr habt das Star Wars feeling voll eingefangen. Bin ja auch Star Wars fan, schaue auch aktuell fleißig Mandalorian. 16 Jahre Dreharbeiten, was für eine Hingabe für Fantasy/Science Fiction. Das ist übrigens der erste Fanfilm den ich gesehen habe, der vor allem eine gute Story hat, wo man sich gefühlt keine Grenzen gesetzt hat. Ich komme übrigens auch aus Hessen, habe auch einen Science Fiction Film gedreht und über meinen Account auf youtube gestellt. Mein Film wurde natürlich mit einem deutlich geringeren Aufwand gedreht, aber auch dafür brauchte ich immerhin 3 Jahre. Cool das es noch andere Hessen mit außergewöhnlichen Hobbies gibt! Ich habe jedenfalls in meinem Umkreis vorher noch keine kennengelernt!
Erst die Doku ? Na hoffentlich warst Du dann nicht zu sehr gespoilert :-) Aber freu mich sehr, dass Dir der Film gefallen hat !!!! Werde jetzt mal gleich Deinen Kanal besuchen !!
Doch, das war richtig gut mit der Doku. Da hat man schon mal so ne Vorstellung, was alles dazu gehört einen so aufwändigen Film zu bewerkstelligen. Die Story ist ja eh recht Komplex! Bei meinem Film orientierte ich mich übrigens mehr an Blade Runner. Man möchte im Nachhinein immer noch das ein oder andere Verändern. Aber vor allem finde ich es interesannt, wieviel Erfahrung man sammelt, gehts dir auch so?

Euer Projekt ist hammermässig gut geworden. Ich bin beeindruckt, dass ihr den Film 16 Jahre lang gedreht habt und das Ganze sogar auch durchgezogen habt. Man sieht dem an, dass es sich hier nicht um eine Filmreihe mit großem Budget handelt, aber das macht den Film ja nicht schlecht. Euer Projekt lässt die neue Trilogie von Disney furchtbar alt aussehen. Einfach richtig geil!

From an interesting story and dialogues through great actors, costumes, props, details, sound and music to good looking computer effects. Your huge commitment to this project (shooting in original locations!) is evident in every second of your final work. Wow! Ich bin extrem begeistert was Ihr auf die Beine gestellt habt, wirklich Klasse. Leider bin ich jetzt erst durch einen Artikel im Münchner Merkur darauf aufmerksam geworden. Da komme ich ja wirklich etwas spät dazu. Aber es gibt so viele Projekte da draußen, manchmal sogar fast vor der eigenen Haustüre, und man bekommt doch nichts mit. Ich habe schon lange "Star Wars" Fan Projekte gesammelt und danach gesucht, und doch stieß ich dabei nicht auf dieses Projekt. Ein Magazin mit Namen "Geek!" hat das geändert, die haben über Euer Projekt berichtet, sonst hätte ich es vielleicht nie gefunden. So kam ich nun hier an, spät, aber nicht zu spät, um mir auch diese ambitionierte Serie zu sichern, inklusive aller Hintergründe. Es ist so beeindruckend, was Fans zu erschaffen im Stande sind, man glaubt es kaum, daß dies wirklich "nur" ein Fanprojekt ist, wenn man es anschaut. Und die Enticklung, die es genommen hat, angefangen bei drei "Star Wars" Fans, die einfach nur einen eigenen Kurzfilm machen wollten, und wie immer mehr Fans weltweit dazustießen und halfen, bis daraus so ein Großprojekt wurde, das ist genial. Was ich hier sehe ist besser als so manches offizielle Projekt heute, aber das ist nur meine subjektive Meinung, Natürlich gibt es auch hier diejenigen, wie immer und überall, die nicht zu schätzen wissen, was hier geleistet wurde und immer etwas auszusetzen haben, aber das wird Euch nach all dieser Arbeit bestimmt nicht entmutigen. Ich für meinen Teil bin absolut begeistert und sehr froh dieses Projekt noch gefunden zu haben. Glüchwunsch, von allen Fanprojekten zu "Star Wars", die ich mir je angeschaut habe, ist dieses für mich das Beste - auch subjektiv, aber meine Meinung. Vielen Dank an alle, die geholfen haben, das zu verwirklichen, ich bin einfach nur begeistert. Und falls wirklich noch eine deutsche Fassung kommt, das wäre natürlich toll, aber auch mit englisch bin ich absolut glücklich. Das mußte ich hier einfach schreiben, weil ich so dankbar bin für solche Projekte, und hier sogar noch eines aus der Heimat. With so many fan films, I’m blown away by the creativity of the makers. This one’s rather likeable with a story behind the scenes of the Galactic Civil War. Earned a spot on my list of favorites. Rather like the cantina scene, especially with the sabacc game. Would like to find a deck of the traditional kind to play with, but I can settle for the Corellian Spike and Coruscant Shift variants that are sold in real life. What were the Rodians doing btw, a dice game?
Thank you for your amazing feedback. The Sabacc Game was filmed in 2007 and we were so proud to be the first to show such a game in live action. Unfortunately our production took a few years longer and in the meantime "Solo" came along and wrote canon history. But that's how it is as an amateur project :-) In any case, great that you liked the first episode. BUT that was just the beginning, the adventure has now begun. Wow, jetzt hast Du ich aber kalt erwischt. Also ich hab es noch super vor mir: MTV Most Wanted mit dem legendären Ray Cokes, lief bei meinem Kumpel den ganzen Tag. Ich hätte schwören können, das wäre schon in den 80´s gewesen. ABER Du hast Recht, es ist in der Tat erst 1992 in Deutschland gestartet :-)

@@poodooFXTeam Ich finde auf dem ersten Blick die Animation etwas schwach im Gegensatz zu anderen Fan Filmen, jedoch ist das wahrscheinlich der Zeit zu verschulden. Vor einigen Jahren waren die Möglichkeiten ja noch weitaus geringer. Dafür ist genialen Story, die hier begonnen wurde Wahnsinn. Ich schreibe selbst Bücher, die hat mich echt gepackt. Wird das der einzige Film sein, den ihr drehen werdet oder wird es noch mehr geben? Ich glaube, dass man mit der neuen Aufmerksamkeit noch größere Mobilisierungsfähigkeit besitzt.
Zum einen wird ein befreundeted Filmprojekt namens "TYDIRIUM" einen unserer Helden (den Twi'lek Bib Durka) in ihrem Film weiterführen. Somit haben wir ein shared "Fan"-Universe :-) Ich selbst und mein Team werden vielleicht noch ein kleines Spin-Off produzieren zu dem kleinen Jungen im Knderzimmer in de frühen 80´ern. Ihr gebt einem die Freude am KRIEG DER STERNE wieder! Ja, auch ich war so ein Kind mit diesen VHS-Bändern, nur in meiner Sammlung fand sich leider keine so liebevoll und genial gestaltete Produktion! Was heutzutage in den Streaming-Angeboten landet, ist nach kaufmännischen Gesichtspunkten hergestellt. Oft genug risikoloses Fast-Food für Aug und Ohr! Bei Euch spürt man Kreativität, Liebe und Einfallsreichtum. Danke, Danke, Danke! Die SZ hat Euch ja eine tolle Seite gewidmet! Welch eine Freude! Ganz am Schluß noch eine "Kleinigkeit" : Perfektion ist leider auch oft steril und -ich wage es auszusprechen- langweilig.
Schön zu lesen, dass gerade bei dem Intro viel von Euch beim Schauen genau so viel Spaß Aufkommen schöner Kindheitserinnerungen hatten wie ich beim Dekorieren, Vorbereiten und Drehen der Szenen 🙂
@@poodooFXTeam Ich war noch nicht ganz 14, als ich KRIEG DER STERNE, so hieß damals der erste Film, in der 52. Woche erstmals im Kino sah. Dafür bin ich extra aus der Provinz nach Düsseldorf gefahren. Den Film kannte ich zuvor nur musikalisch, weil ich die Doppel-LP mit John Williams genialer Musik bereits ein Jahr lang rauf und runter gehört habe. Lieblingsszene blieb bis heute der doppelte Sonnenuntergang. Jungs in meinem Alter (aber beileibe nicht nur) waren alle Luke. Ihr habt ja das Motiv der Heldenreise ebenfalls zum Zentrum Eurer Geschichte gemacht. Auch Eure eigene Musik trifft den Geist der Saga. Da hört man noch einmal ganz anders hin. Dickes Kompliment! Ein echter Film für Fans und Junggebliebene wie meine Wenigkeit mit 57 Jährchen auf dem Buckel. Viermal Spaß und Freude warten also noch auf uns! Nochmals Danke für dieses Geschenk, das Euch viel Lebens und Freizeit gekostet hat. Ein solches Projekt schweißt doch zusammen, sorgt für Freunde auf Lebenszeit! Und wir, das Publikum, das zusehen darf, ohne Eintritt bezahlen zu müssen, applaudiert dafür umso herzlicher!

Es ist wirklich sehr gut umgesetzt. Dafür kann der Film sich echt sehen lassen. Das einzigste was ich einfach nur Witzig finde, sind die Namen aller Figuren. Also wirklich das hätte man um Längen besser hinbekommen können.... Nicht sehr Originell. Dafür Punktet der Film an wirklich guter Qualität, außerhalb Hollywood und Co. Dafür schonmal mindestens ein Oscar. 👍🫡😉 Gruß Domi 😉
Ja ja die Namen :-) Es gab da mal in den 90´ern eine sog. Star Wars Formel (totaler Quatsch), mit der wir die Namen "erstellt" hatten. Das sie (gerade in english) dann später doch so viel Schwierigkeiten machen, hätten wir nicht gedacht !
Ok, this is the best Star Wars film I've seen since... The trilogies directed by George Lucas himself. I enjoyed every second of it. While other fan films top what Disney could make, this is pretty much comparable to the Prequels, which are my favorite trilogy(not that I dislike the OG trilogy, it was just as good and I love it too). Many films weren't fully immersive, both fan made and official, but you nailed it. This is now my favorite Star Wars film series of the decade. Also, the guy based of Till Lindeman was fun to see.

Do you know a fan film project from the past 20 years, which dares so much ? Even if it is not always perfect ? If you are looking for the next 8k Unreal Engine glossy movie, you are unfortunately wrong with this project. But if you get into it you might discover something completely different, which can also be very beautiful :-)

Thor Skywalker & Wife sent me... Congratulations to you all... I'm emotionally invested in how this tale turns out. Honestly, this story could actually (canonically) work in The SWU, with some slight alterations in the timeline. This would make a good SW: Visions episode, a story (or anecdote) from Tales Of The Jedi, The Bad Batch, or even a part of The Mandalorian Saga (which, it seems, may include Skeleton Crew, for all We know). The antecedents of Jedi Knight Nokas Mepur could be mentioned and/or featured sometime within the era of The High Republic. Thank you for this, and May The Force Be With You All...
That was also the idea behind it. There are countless (Jedi) destinies and Vader has all the time in the world between Ep3 and Ep4 to experience more adventures. And indeed, the ideas for the Sabacc game, Vader's secret apprentice and much more date back to a time long before "Solo" or "The Force unleashed". That's the curse of a 16-year production. It´s telling that this movie - despite the noticeable German accents and a little wooden acting - easiliy surpasses the Disney sequels in regard to actual enjoyment derived from watching it. This goes to show what can be achieved with passion and respect for the source material. Kudos to the entire crew and thank you for your work!

Even tho this fan-film was recorded and edited years and years ago (2008 right ? Better inform people about it so they can avoid being too harsh about the CGI and stuff), I enjoyed it and I CANNOT wait for the second episode ! The fact that you guys went to the actual locations is just amazing, Naboo, Kashyyyk, and Tatooine... wow just wow. This needs to be shared everywhere ! You guys deserve it !

This really felt like watching A New Hope again, even the way the aliens moved felt like A New Hope haha, and can we talk about Cad Bane ? That's so cool that you put him there. Btw I saw your behind the scene videos and those were great too ! But yeah can't wait for episode 2 !
Cad Bane was already filmed in in 2016. But after his appearance in "Book of Boba Fett" we decided to replace the masks eyes with CGI eyes to have a more similar look to the official one. Actually this was finished just a couple of weeks before the premiere :-)

Wow, ich habe zum ersten Mal so etwa 2008 oder 2009 das erste Mal eure Hörspiele gehört. Ich war damals etwa 7 oder 8 Jahre alt und konnte nicht genug von Star Wars bekommen. Eure Hörspiele haben mich jahrelang beim Einschlafen begleitet. Mit 13 habe ich die Audios wiedergefunden und eure Fanseite besucht und bemerkt, dass ein Film entstehen soll. Heute sehe ich die erste Folge und kann es gar nicht glauben, dass das Projekt so realisiert werden konnte.
Ich bin echt froh die Website wiederentdeckt zu haben und heute die Serie in dieser Qualität so sehen zu können. Echt verrückt wie mich über Jahre dieses Projekt begleitet hat und ihr es geschafft habt alles fertigzustellen.
Ich freue mich echt auf die nächsten Folgen!!!!

Hey, this flick is really a good watch. Totally worth your time from first to last frame. The reconstruction of some of the more iconic frames in the franchise's history is either very well replicated, or some of the most beautiful 'mistakes'ever put to film. So many practical effects! The Hammer Head prosthetic's eyes even blink! Where did your crew get all the costuming and practical make-up effects? The collection featured is amazing. Thanks for publishing! 🎥🎬🎭

Auch die ganzen Auftritte von altbekannten Charakteren, wie Boba oder Cad Bane und so vielen weiteren sind grandios! Ich bin schon gespannt auf den zweiten Teil.

Congratulations on releasing your epic work. Sorry I missed the cinema premiere! You can truly be proud of yourselves to have finished this gigantic project and fulfil your dreams with it. A real inspiration for everyone and true to the saying: finish what you start (even if it takes 15 years…) :)
Habe erst die Doku gesehen und jetzt den Film. Bin total begeistert. Ihr habt das Star Wars feeling voll eingefangen. Bin ja auch Star Wars fan, schaue auch aktuell fleißig Mandalorian.
16 Jahre Dreharbeiten, was für eine Hingabe für Fantasy/Science Fiction. Das ist übrigens der erste Fanfilm den ich gesehen habe, der vor allem eine gute Story hat, wo man sich gefühlt keine Grenzen gesetzt hat.
Ich komme übrigens auch aus Hessen, habe auch einen Science Fiction Film gedreht und über meinen Account auf youtube gestellt. Mein Film wurde natürlich mit einem deutlich geringeren Aufwand gedreht, aber auch dafür brauchte ich immerhin 3 Jahre.
Cool das es noch andere Hessen mit außergewöhnlichen Hobbies gibt! Ich habe jedenfalls in meinem Umkreis vorher noch keine kennengelernt!
Erst die Doku ? Na hoffentlich warst Du dann nicht zu sehr gespoilert :-) Aber freu mich sehr, dass Dir der Film gefallen hat !!!! Werde jetzt mal gleich Deinen Kanal besuchen !!
Doch, das war richtig gut mit der Doku. Da hat man schon mal so ne Vorstellung, was alles dazu gehört einen so aufwändigen Film zu bewerkstelligen. Die Story ist ja eh recht Komplex! Bei meinem Film orientierte ich mich übrigens mehr an Blade Runner. Man möchte im Nachhinein immer noch das ein oder andere Verändern. Aber vor allem finde ich es interesannt, wieviel Erfahrung man sammelt, gehts dir auch so?

Euer Projekt ist hammermässig gut geworden. Ich bin beeindruckt, dass ihr den Film 16 Jahre lang gedreht habt und das Ganze sogar auch durchgezogen habt. Man sieht dem an, dass es sich hier nicht um eine Filmreihe mit großem Budget handelt, aber das macht den Film ja nicht schlecht. Euer Projekt lässt die neue Trilogie von Disney furchtbar alt aussehen. Einfach richtig geil!

From an interesting story and dialogues through great actors, costumes, props, details, sound and music to good looking computer effects. Meine Güte, was für ein großartiges Werk. Ich bin eben erst über Radio Tatooine auf dieses Projekt aufmerksam geworden und musste mir das ganze nun erstmal zu Gemüte führen. Ich bin einfach nur begeistert über so viel Liebe zum Detail und der schauspielerischen Leistung. Wäre schön, wenn sich Disney mal ne Scheibe davon abschneiden würde 😉. Da komme ich ja wirklich etwas spät dazu. Aber es gibt so viele Projekte da draußen, manchmal sogar fast vor der eigenen Haustüre, und man bekommt doch nichts mit. Ich habe schon lange "Star Wars" Fan Projekte gesammelt und danach gesucht, und doch stieß ich dabei nicht auf dieses Projekt. Ein Magazin mit Namen "Geek!" hat das geändert, die haben über Euer Projekt berichtet, sonst hätte ich es vielleicht nie gefunden. So kam ich nun hier an, spät, aber nicht zu spät, um mir auch diese ambitionierte Serie zu sichern, inklusive aller Hintergründe. Es ist so beeindruckend, was Fans zu erschaffen im Stande sind, man glaubt es kaum, daß dies wirklich "nur" ein Fanprojekt ist, wenn man es anschaut. Und die Enticklung, die es genommen hat, angefangen bei drei "Star Wars" Fans, die einfach nur einen eigenen Kurzfilm machen wollten, und wie immer mehr Fans weltweit dazustießen und halfen, bis daraus so ein Großprojekt wurde, das ist genial. Was ich hier sehe ist besser als so manches offizielle Projekt heute, aber das ist nur meine subjektive Meinung, Natürlich gibt es auch hier diejenigen, wie immer und überall, die nicht zu schätzen wissen, was hier geleistet wurde und immer etwas auszusetzen haben, aber das wird Euch nach all dieser Arbeit bestimmt nicht entmutigen. Ich für meinen Teil bin absolut begeistert und sehr froh dieses Projekt noch gefunden zu haben. Glüchwunsch, von allen Fanprojekten zu "Star Wars", die ich mir je angeschaut habe, ist dieses für mich das Beste - auch subjektiv, aber meine Meinung. Vielen Dank an alle, die geholfen haben, das zu verwirklichen, ich bin einfach nur begeistert. Und falls wirklich noch eine deutsche Fassung kommt, das wäre natürlich toll, aber auch mit englisch bin ich absolut glücklich. Das mußte ich hier einfach schreiben, weil ich so dankbar bin für solche Projekte, und hier sogar noch eines aus der Heimat. Ihr seid einfach nur genial, denn das ist wirklich "Star Wars" von seiner besten Seite... ❤

With so many fan films, I’m blown away by the creativity of the makers. This one’s rather likeable with a story behind the scenes of the Galactic Civil War. Earned a spot on my list of favorites. Rather like the cantina scene, especially with the sabacc game. Would like to find a deck of the traditional kind to play with, but I can settle for the Corellian Spike and Coruscant Shift variants that are sold in real life. What were the Rodians doing btw, a dice game?
Thank you for your amazing feedback. The Sabacc Game was filmed in 2007 and we were so proud to be the first to show such a game in live action. Unfortunately our production took a few years longer and in the meantime "Solo" came along and wrote canon history. But that's how it is as an amateur project :-)

Schon ein echt geiles Filmkunstwerk geworden. Aber warum ist bei 0:25 MTV zu sehen, die gabs 1986 doch noch garnicht bei uns?
Wow, jetzt hast Du ich aber kalt erwischt. Also ich hab es noch super vor mir: MTV Most Wanted mit dem legendären Ray Cokes, lief bei meinem Kumpel den ganzen Tag. Ich hätte schwören können, das wäre schon in den 80´s gewesen. ABER Du hast Recht, es ist in der Tat erst 1992 in Deutschland gestartet :-)

@@poodooFXTeam Ich finde auf dem ersten Blick die Animation etwas schwach im Gegensatz zu anderen Fan Filmen, jedoch ist das wahrscheinlich der Zeit zu verschulden. Vor einigen Jahren waren die Möglichkeiten ja noch weitaus geringer.
Dafür ist genialen Story, die hier begonnen wurde Wahnsinn. Ich schreibe selbst Bücher, die hat mich echt gepackt.
Wird das der einzige Film sein, den ihr drehen werdet oder wird es noch mehr geben? Ich glaube, dass man mit der neuen Aufmerksamkeit noch größere Mobilisierungsfähigkeit besitzt.
Zum einen wird ein befreundeted Filmprojekt namens "TYDIRIUM" einen unserer Helden (den Twi'lek Bib Durka) in ihrem Film weiterführen. Somit haben wir ein shared "Fan"-Universe :-) Ich selbst und mein Team werden vielleicht noch ein kleines Spin-Off produzieren zu dem kleinen Jungen im Knderzimmer in de frühen 80´ern. Aber da spielen nur grad mit Ideen. Sobald sic was "zeigbares" ergibt, wird es auf unserem Kanal zu sehen sein. Also STAY TUNED :-)

Ihr gebt einem die Freude am KRIEG DER STERNE wieder! Ja, auch ich war so ein Kind mit diesen VHS-Bändern, nur in meiner Sammlung fand sich leider keine so liebevoll und genial gestaltete Produktion! Was heutzutage in den Streaming-Angeboten landet, ist nach kaufmännischen Gesichtspunkten hergestellt. Oft genug risikoloses Fast-Food für Aug und Ohr! Bei Euch spürt man Kreativität, Liebe und Einfallsreichtum. Danke, Danke, Danke! Die SZ hat Euch ja eine tolle Seite gewidmet! Welch eine Freude! Ganz am Schluß noch eine "Kleinigkeit" : Perfektion ist leider auch oft steril und -ich wage es auszusprechen- langweilig.
Schön zu lesen, dass gerade bei dem Intro viel von Euch beim Schauen genau so viel Spaß Aufkommen schöner Kindheitserinnerungen hatten wie ich beim Dekorieren, Vorbereiten und Drehen der Szenen 🙂
@@poodooFXTeam Ich war noch nicht ganz 14, als ich KRIEG DER STERNE, so hieß damals der erste Film, in der 52. Woche erstmals im Kino sah. Dafür bin ich extra aus der Provinz nach Düsseldorf gefahren. Den Film kannte ich zuvor nur musikalisch, weil ich die Doppel-LP mit John Williams genialer Musik bereits ein Jahr lang rauf und runter gehört habe. Lieblingsszene blieb bis heute der doppelte Sonnenuntergang. Jungs in meinem Alter (aber beileibe nicht nur) waren alle Luke. Ihr habt ja das Motiv der Heldenreise ebenfalls zum Zentrum Eurer Geschichte gemacht. Auch Eure eigene Musik trifft den Geist der Saga. Da hört man noch einmal ganz anders hin. Dickes Kompliment! Ein echter Film für Fans und Junggebliebene wie meine Wenigkeit mit 57 Jährchen auf dem Buckel. Viermal Spaß und Freude warten also noch auf uns! Nochmals Danke für dieses Geschenk, das Euch viel Lebens und Freizeit gekostet hat. Ein solches Projekt schweißt doch zusammen, sorgt für Freunde auf Lebenszeit! Und wir, das Publikum, das zusehen darf, ohne Eintritt bezahlen zu müssen, applaudiert dafür umso herzlicher!

Es ist wirklich sehr gut umgesetzt. Dafür kann der Film sich echt sehen lassen. Das einzigste was ich einfach nur Witzig finde, sind die Namen aller Figuren. Also wirklich das hätte man um Längen besser hinbekommen können.... Nicht sehr Originell.
Dafür Punktet der Film an wirklich guter Qualität, außerhalb Hollywood und Co. Dafür schonmal mindestens ein Oscar. 👍🫡😉 Gruß Domi 😉
Ja ja die Namen :-) Es gab da mal in den 90´ern eine sog. Star Wars Formel (totaler Quatsch), mit der wir die Namen "erstellt" hatten. Das sie (gerade in english) dann später doch so viel Schwierigkeiten machen, hätten wir nicht gedacht !
Ok, this is the best Star Wars film I've seen since... The trilogies directed by George Lucas himself. I enjoyed every second of it. While other fan films top what Disney could make, this is pretty much comparable to the Prequels, which are my favorite trilogy(not that I dislike the OG trilogy, it was just as good and I love it too). Many films weren't fully immersive, both fan made and official, but you nailed it. This is now my favorite Star Wars film series of the decade.
Also, the guy based of Till Lindeman was fun to see.

Do you know a fan film project from the past 20 years, which dares so much ? Even if it is not always perfect ? If you are looking for the next 8k Unreal Engine glossy movie, you are unfortunately wrong with this project. But if you get into it you might discover something completely different, which can also be very beautiful :-)

I'm emotionally invested in how this tale turns out. Honestly, this story could actually (canonically) work in The SWU, with some slight alterations in the timeline. This would make a good SW: Visions episode, a story (or anecdote) from Tales Of The Jedi, The Bad Batch, or even a part of The Mandalorian Saga (which, it seems, may include Skeleton Crew, for all We know). The antecedents of Jedi Knight Nokas Mepur could be mentioned and/or featured sometime within the era of The High Republic.

That was also the idea behind it. There are countless (Jedi) destinies and Vader has all the time in the world between Ep3 and Ep4 to experience more adventures. And indeed, the ideas for the Sabacc game, Vader's secret apprentice and much more date back to a time long before "Solo" or "The Force unleashed". That's the curse of a 16-year production.
