    Loving my trigger so far! Installed it Christmas morning after a slight battle with the takedown lever I was able to get it reassembled and working flawlessly! Thanks Tyrant!

    tough install...but this video helped a lot. I took it to the range over the weekend and it worked way better than the oem trigger. Thanks Tyrant crew.

    I just got my trigger last Friday and installed same day. The sig platform is confusing but this video helped a lot. Got about 300 rounds in over the weekend. This thing absolutely slaps. Love it.

    Just installed mine and it’s awesome but to those who can’t get it to work make sure your takedown pin is pushed back slightly then install the trigger bar under the trigger and push it back in and after make sure the linkage that goes to the takedown pin is in front of the slide release or when you go to put it back in it won’t work and you will be pulling your hair, There is a little sharp hump on that takedown bar that needs to be to the left of the slide release engagement sharp bump

    I saw this reduces pre-travel by 30 percent. Due to the reduced pre-travel, does this keep the safety plunger in a slightly depressed state at all times due to safety lever pressing against it? (I’m not saying it disengages the plunger completely.) Im curious because the way the p365 is designed, it seems the more pre-travel that is taken out the more the safety lever presses against that safety plunger which stops the striker from hitting the primer of the bullet in unwanted situations. I was looking into buying one of these but the 30 percent reduction made me have some questions.

    • @DoctorJenks
      @DoctorJenks 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      After installing the trigger I checked this next to another p365 and the plunger IS in a slightly depressed state with the tyrant trigger. It's less than a millimeter, but it is. I have no idea how much this affects safety, but @tyrantcnc needs to address this. Does it affect safety?

    • @helpmehelpme4630
      @helpmehelpme4630 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      just to clarify, the safety plunger isn't affected by this reduction as the trigger itself has been manufactured to be a different angle which is closer to the wall than an oem trigger. Other methods of "forcing the pretravel" to be shorter WILL impact the safety plunger. (ie. tactical trigger p365 kit affects plunger as it uses a metal bracket that wedges in between the front of the trigger and the grip module, making the trigger always slightly pressed closer to the wall) This will affect the plunger to slightly rub the striker safety. I hope this answers your concern

    Why not just have the screws with loctite already on them? If it’s the first thing you do, don’t understand why the consumer has to do it 🤷‍♂️

    I am highly considering this trigger. I just have a few concerns that I hope you could speak on?
    In my head, if I were to pick up the gun incorrectly or somehow fumble in my holster or something, I feel the finger will naturally take up a lot of the trigger, which presses the blade in, and the gun goes off.
    It seems like such a small window where you'd only contact that small bit of trigger that would stop it from going off. Maybe it could possibly prevent situations where it gets snagged?
    I don't know. Curious of your thoughts.
    Thanks!

    Has anyone tried this with a magazine disconnect installed? It says it may not work but I am curious if it does. (No, I don’t not live in California, but I have family that does), (yes, I have told them to move out)

    I can’t get the takedown lever to go all the way back in so that the groove on the takedown lever rides on the FCU

    • @iflyjetss
      @iflyjetss 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The FCU’s can be a bit finicky. Try giving the trigger and takedown lever a bit of a wiggle. Also check that the bar for the takedown lever is sitting forward of the slide catch, and flush.

    • @TactiCali27
      @TactiCali27 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@iflyjetss I ended up having to remove the trigger pin, trigger bar in order for the post the trigger bar hooked to to be clear of the takedown lever. It seems the post of the tyrant trigger is a bit too long preventing the takedown lever to seat completely into the FCU. Biggest pain in the 🫏

    • @grumpyowl3515
      @grumpyowl3515 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I'm having the same issue. The pistol in this video is not using the OEM takedown lever.The only way I've found to get the OEM takedown lever on with the new trigger is to remount the lever before you put the trigger pin in... the trigger pin was another issue in itself. With the OEM takedown lever in place and the FCU completely reassembled, the trigger cannot move completely forward to its resting position. That leaves the safety plunger lever partially engaged. That means you can't put the slide back on as the partially raised safety plunger lever hits the striker cover plate. I'm past the point of trusting the new trigger and plan on requesting a refund. It seems like a good idea that just needs some refinement.

    • @tyrantcnc
      @tyrantcnc  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@grumpyowl3515 definitely reach out to customer service so that they can take care of you. The safety lever should not be interfering with your slide cover plate like you mentioned. Only other recommendation we can make for you to look at is to disassemble and reassemble to see if something did not seat properly the first time, which can happen.
