  • Fuses and relays location in Mercedes-Benz W211. There are 3 fuseboxes in E-Class: one under the dashboard, one in the trunk, one under the hood.
    Follow this tutorial and learn how to access them in your car.

    It's is now 7 years since this was posted. How about doing a podcast on preventive maintenance like cleaning dirty terminals with contact cleaner, replacing worn relays, looking for location of moisture entry and its sealing off etc etc. Regard.

    I just bought a car. I wonder if maybe the fuse for windshield washer is missing? I look at every single fuse and all look good. No power going to the pump connector though. Maybe stalk is broken?

    I was looking for a video to see how to open the plastic-cover on trunk fusebox without breaking it then I saw your video and I was like "YESSSSS HE ACTUALLY SHOWED HOW TO OPEN THE DASH FUSEBOX SO NEXT HE'S GONNA OPEN THE TRUNK FUSEBOX" then you opened the trunk, removed the carpet cover and YOU PUT IT BACK!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :(((

      I figured it out today, you just pull on it from the middle. Nothing breaks.

    Hello! Would you (or someone else) happen to know where the F88 fuse is located? It is supposed to control the trunk module (which I suspect is leaking electricity, leading my battery to empty itself if left alone for a day). Listings on the internet says it is located in the "Rear Pre Fuse Block in Trunk in front of main large battery", but I can find no such block, unless I dismantle the whole trunk floor at least. Thanks!

      Hi there, any findings? I have an electricity leak too, but couldn't figure out what causing it.
      Furthermore I don't find that instruction sheet which was supposed to be in the fusebox under the dashboard, did you have better luck?

    • @MaximC
      @MaximC 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's must be this: drive.google.com/file/d/0B2ikFRvREL4RcnlJOXExdEhnTUE/view?usp=drivesdk
      but apparently you don't have it. Are you sure your is W211?

    • @norszqp
      @norszqp 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Maxim C. I have it. Instead of dismantling things, I just cut through the trunk floor cache to get access. No luck however finding the leak through the fuses. The chart I had in the fusebox under the dashboard is this one: mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w211/122005-fuse-box-diagram.html

      norszqp
      So you didn't find the cause of the leak at the end?

    • @norszqp
      @norszqp 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Maxim C. No. One thing that I could do but didn't is going through all the lamps to see if there's isn't a short circuit somewhere. The car has other issues as well, so I'll probably sell it soon anyway.
