This video helped me so much! I'm 31 years old and have always struggled with finding my passion and a fulfilling job that aligns with my values. After some soul searching I've led myself to this field. I'm currently looking up as much information as I can before I dive deep into UX and/or other similar jobs. I really enjoyed your video, thanks!
I'm mesmerized with the ✨yas queen✨energy you're giving, it makes me stay focus honestly. Thank you for your advices and tips, I'm currently finishing Google's course and this is really helpful
I went to architecture school for six years with a bachelors and masters. The things you have described are not any more different from my experiences from school and the workforce including the criticism, the design process and expectations! I’m currently looking into making a drastic career change to UI/UX design!
I'm actually in the exact same boat! Been thinking of making the switch from architecture for a while now but still quite anxious about the whole idea. Doing lots of research to find other people's experience of the whole transition and would love it if you can give an update if you do switch!
I would love to take some note and read it again when I’m struggling about how to be perfect about a design. I love how chill you are and love your ideas!
I really struggle with talking to people and collaboration-- I dread it and always work alone in class. I don't talk to anyone at school all day, unless I need to ask a teacher a question. Idk if it's something I should push through and learn to do and deal with or look somewhere else-- can anyone relate? UX seems like an ok fit for me at this point. Not the most fun career for me, and socializing seems really hard, but it would probably bring in more money than graphic design (my current dream career) which is 45-55k.
Thank you for this video it's very informative. I'm just beginning to transfer from print production design (also in the NYC area) to ux design so these videos are super helpful :)
Hi Greta! Love your content! 🤩🤩 I am myself in this UX Research field and been looking to see what you could recommend in terms of the laptop. As a UX Designer I wonder if you would recommend to have a 14inch or 16inch laptop to work on when doing a daily tasks, such as conducting or analysing the research? 🌻
100% YES! I consider myself more introverted than extroverted. As long as you enjoy the process and like who you work with, I think any introvert will succeed :)
Being autistic, as soon as you said looking at behavior/body language I was like...oh no. This could go good, could go bad lol. Am I right to assume that a UX/UI designer 'designs' and sends it off to e Wev Developer so it can be built? I have been looking into web development and wondering if they help with the design at all.
I’m just now starting out in my UX design journey and your energy has made the possible challenges seem less daunting and the field more inviting
This is the best comment. EVER. So happy to hear this. You got this!!

That was really good thanks 😊 I’m a perfectionist so it’s so hard to show designs before I find them perfect but I’m realising it’s not the best 😆
Hahahaha oh do I know how that is!
Mil gracias for the information!!!
