Hey, a friend and I just wrote a program to screenshot on your remarkable. Would you like to try it out? We're wanting to get screen sharing to work in the future.
The way you do sponsorships is so smooth. I’ve never once hit the skip button because you don’t interrupt the entire video with a sponsorship but rather have it casually in your video. You got me
Could you do a Figma Tutorial on Auto Layout and Components? Or perhaps on how you turn wireframes into Low,Mid, and High Fi? Love your videos and the transparency you have on how you work!
from a dev's perspective that's trying to get to know the caveats of trying to lead teams and know more about the roles of a multidisciplinary team, this is VERY useful. thank you!
Hi. I've been a subscriber to your channel for a while now and currently, I'm a graduate student in digital product design in Brazil. This week my teacher recommended your channel to us, so I came here to let you know that you're becoming a reference.
This is so helpful! You see the double diamond model a lot, but there are still things I didn't understand about it, having not heard it explained out loud in words. Thank you so much
That's the tablet I want!! Also, this video is super help in breaking down what a UX Designer does and a Day in the Life of on an a full work basis! Thank you!
OMG, I was looking for a design process video earlier and this popped up. I genuinely thought you've done one of these before and thought this was old. Then I scrolled down and saw the upload date... what timing!! Also, great job repping your very interesting sponsor!
Not sure why but I've been watching UX videos lately and have been reading up on it. Yet no one has really explained how you collect the data? Who are you sharing the design with for user testing? Who are you surveying for the initial problem solving phase? Does the company provide a set of individuals I can Interrogate? Lol. Do I go meet strangers at the local coffee shop?
You can use either survey forms to gather data, you can do word of mouth to also collect data by asking some users questions. It could even be a stranger, depends on how you explain the product you’re building to them.
Thanks I really appreciate the content you provided in this short video.. I'm currently working on an app design I just needed some clarity as to how I would tackle this project that I was given.🤨. 🤗really appreciate your TH-cam channel.. please make similar ones, like this going forward
This is such an insightful video 👏. Can you make videos on how you do competitive research in the beginning and usability testing in the end in details and if you follow any template for it.
Could I go through this process on a current design (like sephora, gymshark, whatever existing product page I chose)? I am a student needing some portfolio projects. Thanks, love your videos, they have helped me so much!
@@chunbuns thank you for sharing a practical example like this. Just one quick question tho, how do you get quantitative data for this type of project if you don’t have actual access to the product site info? Can we make assumption on these data for a portfolio project?
thx for sharing the design process! I was wondering how you document your design decisions for the engineers? could you please cover this in your next video :D
I love the fact that you're using the remarkable 2 tablet and personally think every designer should have one however, you should have added a discount code at the very least... specially if they are sponsoring the video!
I screen recorded on my phone and put a device PNG over it on Adobe Premiere Pro. You can get my phone device mockup here! www.chunbuns.com/store/device-mockups
Thanks for the amazing UX process explanation and why it healps to tackle a problem!! one question How much time is estimated for each part? I know it can vary by project but using the example you left, more or less how long does discovery, definition, development and delivery take? Are each part months, days, or hours? my reason for asking is that by wanting everything super well I end up overcomplicating each step and I want to get an idea to deromatize it and be more practical when starting the process
I think it depends on the project, for the example on the video I think you can do the first step in let's say 2 to 4 days. Step 2 can be shorter if you can manage to get meetings with your team and for the final two steps can be from 1 to 2 weeks. That's from my own experience. On the other hand, if you are working solo on a super fast pace environment like a startup, or you are creating MVPs, the whole process could take like 1 week maximum. Remember that we are doing only one screen here, and sometimes you don't have a lot of time to finish an initial design proposal. Hope it helps!
Hi! Love your content! 🤩🤩 I am myself in this UX Research field and been looking to see what you could recommend in terms of the laptop. As a UX Designer I wonder if you would recommend to have a 14inch or 16inch laptop to work on when doing a daily tasks, such as conducting or analysing the research? 🌻
Great video, concise and to the point. I'd suggest using paper when prototyping by constructing an interface so the stakeholder can see first-hand the essential mechanics. This is because some stakeholders are not tech-savvy and come from a business background where they only see time/cost resources.
Hello, how do we know what the metrics, conversion rates and other qualitative and quantitative research items if I am currently doing my own personal first-ever UX project without any surveys and experience?
Hey! Question. How should I do a redesign when there is no research and no metrics to inform my designs? The company I work at doesn’t have a researcher and I have no idea where to look for the info.
i was looking for ux ui roles , most of them ask for adobe creative suite knowledge , i am good with ui design tools but not with adobe suite.. when and what do you amazing ui designers use suite for ? whats are your main tasks ui designers do on suite ...thanks a lot ..
Sketch your own wireframes on the reMarkable 2 paper tablet! Click on this link to get your own: bit.ly/3IjX4r9

Totally agree!!
Agreed😂😊
u are the first social influencer whos even had me CONSIDER buying a product i had no intention of buying. that tablet looks legit.
Could you do a Figma Tutorial on Auto Layout and Components? Or perhaps on how you turn wireframes into Low,Mid, and High Fi? Love your videos and the transparency you have on how you work!
I suggest watching TH-cam vids published by Figma itself! I found it very useful.
from a dev's perspective that's trying to get to know the caveats of trying to lead teams and know more about the roles of a multidisciplinary team, this is VERY useful. thank you!
Hello! I love seeing a sneak peek into your process! Would love to know more about your user testing/usability test in future videos
My UX researcher usually comes up with a research plan and script but I'll try to brainstorm something for ya :D
Thank you so much
Please continue to do more practical sessions-these are so useful! Maybe continue to do regular case studies with your audience for example.
I came here especially to learn some ui/ux vocabulary and I learned a lot of useful phrases. Thanks a lot!
Thanks!
That's the tablet I want!! Also, this video is super help in breaking down what a UX Designer does and a Day in the Life of on an a full work basis! Thank you!
Do you know which one...😢?
Thanks for the new video! I’m looking forward to seeing what other content you post! Always good to learn as much as you can!
im only just getting started in my UX/UI journey, and this has helped me a ton! Thank you so much.
This is surely so random but when you wrote "Design Prompt" with that perfect line under, it was so smooth and satisfying.
I just meet your channel and watched 2 vídeos, and in both I went to the sponsor link, you are brilliant! you know to make ads uhehue
I am thankful to her for UX design process and she is beautiful.
How sweet is she! 🥰 I love your channel, great videos, extremely helpful! TKS!!
That was an amazing experience! I want to thank you very much for all your hard work.
Thanks for the reMarkable advertisment added with some double diamond process.
OMG, I was looking for a design process video earlier and this popped up. I genuinely thought you've done one of these before and thought this was old. Then I scrolled down and saw the upload date... what timing!!
Also, great job repping your very interesting sponsor!
You really made it so simple to understand. Thanks A LOT
Loved this! Would love you to dive into one of these steps a bit more...like how you synthesize research or how you approach user testing.
I second this request
Hi!! Im new in the area and its soooo cool to see and understand better the steps. Thanks for that! Hugs from Brazil!
so summarized, to the point and explanatory

Valid questions
You can use either survey forms to gather data, you can do word of mouth to also collect data by asking some users questions.
It could even be a stranger, depends on how you explain the product you’re building to them.
Great video, practical, usable, timely.
Thank you for sharing your insight about the design process!
Soo good - this video was just what I needed. I'd love to see a video of you covering your process for user testing.

you most definitely can! that's pretty much what I did in the video too haha
@@chunbuns thank you for sharing a practical example like this. Just one quick question tho, how do you get quantitative data for this type of project if you don’t have actual access to the product site info? Can we make assumption on these data for a portfolio project?
So succinct and informative. Thank you for this video.

I was wondering if you could design a mock project from start to finish and show the design choices etc! Would hell a lot of people
Love your videos! I'd like to learn more about gathering UX feedback and testing. If you already have a video on that, I don't see it. :)
double diamond is goated ngl
Very good explanation. My only question is in double diamond process do we create persons?
Very clear !! For the final design step you make UI design and for the first to the sketching step you make UX design . Am I right ?
I love the fact that you're using the remarkable 2 tablet and personally think every designer should have one however, you should have added a discount code at the very least... specially if they are sponsoring the video!
Super helpful! Thank you.
basically do this, but create a series where you go in depth at every point on a real project so we can how you work at a more granular ideation level
Awesome! how did you do screenshots of entire apps / pages quickly on phone? And what did you record app flows with on your phone?
I screen recorded on my phone and put a device PNG over it on Adobe Premiere Pro. You can get my phone device mockup here! www.chunbuns.com/store/device-mockups

could I ask which tool you used at 2:55 to lay down all the design research?
Very helpful video👍. What do you use to analyse quality and quantity data and what do you use for UI UX testing
amazing video!!!!
i would 100% pay for courses or digital materials that you put together!!
hi Cristine, when are you designing, where and when are you looking for icons?

I love your camera (Fuji) Is it a XT-3, 4, or 5 (?) Also, is your lens the 23mm f2 or the 35mm f2?
Hey! Question. How should I do a redesign when there is no research and no metrics to inform my designs? The company I work at doesn’t have a researcher and I have no idea where to look for the info.
Can you do a detailed video on how to make visually appealing UI Screen? What are the factors to consider like color, typo, spacing etc?
Do let us know what happens after the deliver stage. Does the management of the company/client has a say on the new iteration as well?
I was actually looking into he remarkable 2 for a while now. Do you think you will do a review after x #of months?
What are your thoughts on Adobe XD. And is this remarkable 2 realy usefull or do you just need the add money?
1:48 on the right diamond it was written "develop", now at 5:39 it's "deliver"...
Hey a random question, what tool did you use to film yourself and your screen at the same time? Thanks!
oh don't mind me - i'm just here to see christine's beautiful b-roll in this video. 😍😍
Can you make a video on wireframes! ?
can you also make this kind detail tutorial for fresh product.
i was looking for ux ui roles , most of them ask for adobe creative suite knowledge , i am good with ui design tools but not with adobe suite.. when and what do you amazing ui designers use suite for ? whats are your main tasks ui designers do on suite ...thanks a lot ..
Remarkable should do some usertesting and competitive analysis about that monthly subscription vs ipad (one payment and done) :p
