Hi Aliena! It's a great video! I gain a lot of insight as a person who still learn on UX Design and one thing I always wondering is that "Is the social media presence important?" like you create an Instagram account that share's insight, or etc? It will be helpful if you can reply it! Thanks!
This is a great question. For me, social media presence (TH-cam) helped me a lot in my job search. Most of my interviewers have seen my TH-cam videos and I had a greater chance of getting opportunities because of this channel. However, I strongly suggest you think about what you like to do and your personal strengths before jumping into creating a Instagram account and sharing insights. I still think the most important thing we need to have is strong design skill and good projects. Media is a leverage to present our design skills and projects, but the foundation is still design skill and projects 😄 Hope this helps ❤️

Thanks for the wonderful tips you just gave
I appreciate 🙏🏼💜💜💜
@@AlienaCai Wow! That's a great answer! I always doubt starting Instagram Account and thinking that HR won't take a look at it, but your answer makes me feel comfortable to move forward. Thank's! 😆
@@AlienaCai Hello Aliena, i saw your video, it was very inspiring, i have been studying ux design for sometime now, in fact i am doing the same course that you did, the google ux course from coursera, i am also learning how to use figma, i am studying all sorts of tutorials on youtube and trying to understand how to design different components, practicing those tutorials, the most difficult part for me while working in figma is the interaction design, making components interactive and responsive is very time consuming and challenging, but i am getting there, i wanted to ask you while studying ux design were you involved with social media groups, people who have same interests as you, if so i would like to join them, i need help, i need people to critique my work and give me feedback so i can quickly improve, if you can share some links to communities that i can join to share ideas i would be very grateful.
@@iftekharulhaque2697 I recommend you look up Slack groups. There are a ton of them for volunteer work, networking, hackatons, etc., they are free and they tend to be more professional than Facebook groups, at least in my experience.
@@mercedesm.dipaola3146 where do i find them?

I got the 2 column CV made with a design tool and now I'm wondering how many possible opportunities I missed in the past. Thanks for the advice. 🙌
I've seen many people with the 2 column CV being successful too. Didn't worked out to me. You can give it a try for the 1 column ones and updating the content again. Wish you all the best 🙌
Thank you for the motivation. I just got rejected for an internship before the interview 😫 definitely low on morale.
I'm sorry to hear that. I got rejected to tons of jobs before the interviews too. Don't give up.
