Every day you enact your worldview on other people by interacting with them. The only way to “live and let live” is to live on an island alone, then you truly can do whatever you want. Otherwise you have to have boundaries and rules of conduct if there was another person. Because both people can’t do what they want without infringing upon the other. The idea of a Christian proselytizing is similar to a mother who cares deeply for her son. If you love someone you will be angry when they do something stupid to hurt themselves, such as abusing opiates, etc. This is the same with Christianity. The Christian sees people living selfishly, and by that hurting others, themselves, and most importantly God who desires the best at all times for all people. And to live selfishly is stupid, and unreal. Because the Law of God is simply a description of reality. Yea verily if you jump off the roof a building you will become paste.

Chinese traditions like visiting ancestors grave are frown upon, having a picture of idols is demon worship. Who the hell died and made Christian god? Christianity is at best a religion made in middle ages. 1000 years ago, you barely had handwriting and even calendar, let alone write the bible. I am born in a Hindu family but had no specific interest in religions. I started my schooling in a convent, but after a while, I was put in a government school.
Every day, after the National anthem was played I used to draw a cross on me. My friend a church-going Christian asked me which Church I go to. I told him I don't go to Church. He asked me why I draw a cross after the assembly. My reply was that I may be a Christian and I needed to check with my mother who was a Professor as she would probably know.
It turned out that in the Convent I started drawing the cross after assembly, I used to draw the cross and my mother has seen me draw the cross even in temples.
"Why didn't you tell me"? I asked.

These are Master/Slave religions - born when Kings ruled with an iron fist
Ancient people living under these Kings/Dictators used them as a template for God
Hence a King like God sitting on his throne in the Heavens
      Heaven is his Kingdom
To please him one must get down on one's knees, beg, grovel, sing his praises, swear eternal loyalty & obedience
And of course no King/Dictator would tolerate allegiance to another and so the hate and threats against all others
Think of living in Russia under Putin or North Korea today!

I lived in and around Singapore for about ten years, in the early seventies, I was a young anti authority Australian but made an exception for Mr Lee with, what I deemed to be, his draconian rules. With the Vietnam war so close and Singapore in need of direction, Mr Lee used what he called the Sledge Hammer effect. No Communism, that meant no long hair, no tattoos, no more rock music in night clubs. Tow Bombs were detonated after being discovered, one in top of a coconut tree and the other in a roadside gutter. There was a photo of the coconut tree blowing up, in the Straights times. Myself and friends believed that Mr Lee arranged for these bombs to be planted to give reason why Singaporeans should be concerned about communism. And the issue you with long hair and tattoos was, as I believed, to prevent Malaysian youth from being an influence on society. Wrong, I know, but I was and have always been sceptical of any authority. One amazing experience I had with Mr Lee's sledge hammer effect was when he announced that there would be no more honking of car horns and no more erratic driving on Singaporean roads. The following day I caught a taxi into the CBD, Orchard Rd and was in a state of shock. No honking of horns no indiscretions, no impatient passing and cutting in front of other drivers. This to me, was an indication of total respect for LKY.

In India , all temples including Sikhs ,Jains ,Hindus, Buddhist r under govt control while church and mosques ,madrasas r free hence the result is that :
    1) after Govt of India , 2nd largest land owner is the Catholic and The 3rd largest is the Waqf board a Muslim personal law board
    2) the Muslims have their own personal shariah court and churches their own ..
    3) the land scam of the Churches is enormous with no transparency thus un-named cemeteries r rising 2 times the normal speed leading to massive problems in governance and causing constant friction while Hindus r not even allowed to do a small Yatra or a religious procession in Christian or Muslim dominated area .

India is becoming more and more Hindu ethno state. The problem with this is the rise of extremist toxic Hindus (like terrorist ISIS in middle east) who wants pure Hindu state, they want Abrahamic religions to leave, they terrorize them by forming vigilante groups who "protects" cows and sacred animals but in reality uses it as a cover to beat and assault Muslims, christians and Jews. Most cases are of Muslims since they are the second largest minority. There is also the rise of Hindu priest who compel their fellow followers to "protect" their women by Isolating Anyone of Abrahamic faith, mostly Muslim again. They don't allow any of that group to marry one of their own. The entire case is dangerous and hate fueled bullying.

Christianity spread as the Spaniards landed on the shore brandishing swords and the holy cross in each hand shouting "In the name of Jesus we proclaim this land to be ours!" and soon began killing the unsuspecting natives who had gathered to see them arrive in curiousity. This happened in Africa, the Americas but not in India, China and other SE Asian nations, where the civilisations predate the Christian theological records.

Religion should remain pure, away from politics, and nations should accept the existence of any good religion as they teach inside, but religion also should have been private as they suppose to be a personal faith, I'm not saying preaching or da'wah should be forbidden by applying secularism, they may have their chance by doing good deeds. In Islam, every people born with fitra, so you may find the truth yourself, there is nothing can teach moral better than good religion, the truth is always exist, anyway this philosophy also make me can learn from other religion.

Studies have shown that atheists can't bother themselves to have relationships, let alone babies. They have also shown that religion is in the genes. All atheism has done has separated the atheists from the religious and then made the atheists go extinct. We're seeing this all over the secular world - Japan and China particularly badly affected. Seems that atheism is the best thing that ever happened to religion.

Christianity and Islam are not religions which can develop multi religious states. They want to be the state religion by themselves. In western countries due to secular and non-religious politicians who abide by the law and constitution these religions have to be tolerant of each other otherwise risk being jailed. The only religions respectful of other individuals are Hinduism, Buddhism and other Dharmic and South east Asian religions. They don't need no laws or constitution to live peacefully with one another.

Often many people forget what it means to be secular. It doesn't mean to be irreligious and it doesn't mean to attack Abrahamic faiths specifically. The concept is perfectly used to keep religion and its values away from public policy and the development of a nation. Yet many who claim to be secular or against secularism fail to understand what it truly means. In the rise of Islamism, anti-religion, and Christian, Buddhist, and Hindu nationalism, a free society not dictated or influenced by a certain group of citizens at the expense of others are lost simply to words through the danger religious tribalism. This is what Singapore has beautifully and effectively been able to overcome. Mr. Lee Kuan Yew was truly, one of the greatest leaders in modern history.
