FINALLY a video that is showing the CORRECT place as NOTED IN INSTRUCTION MANUAL to put the two absorption pads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So many videos out there putting them (or even cutting them short) in the bottom tray. THIS IS NOT CORRECT PEOPLE!!! Thank you Whitestone Dome!

This is my second time applying this, the first one was bought when my Note 9 was new.
Decided to buy a new one when my old had some cracks in the corners.
This ladies and gentlemen, is the best screen protector available to date, I have tried sooo many different but nothing compares to this one, well done.

just installed it and as long as you follow the instructions; worked like a charm. no bubbles and looks flawless - the best screen protector i have come across; hopefully it holds up! also i did another pass of the UV light did it on top; middle and bottom. hopefully it holds up over time

I follow exactly the installation steps and had a perfect installation. However, that perfect condition only lasted for 1 week. After that lots of air bubbles start appearing on the edge side. I checked your Amazon, Facebook and Twitter reviews, seems like a lot of people are facing the same issue and your Customer Support is non-existence. I guess all the "good reviews" from TH-cam are all just paid reviews. What a waste of good money. With this kind of money I can buy multiple cheap glass protectors and avoid having this disappointment and heartache spending this much money on Whitestone products.

According to Whitestone customer service, its a defect in one of the many tempered glasses. We are the unlucky ones. Worst Whitestone warranty does not cover my location. Only US and Europe. Wasted a lot of money on this.

My first attempt was almost flawless, it installed too far down on my phone's screen and I have a tiny bubble on the left hand side of the screen. I did the installation in a room without enough light so I don't blame the process or the product as I couldn't totally see what I was doing (set up lamps as much as I could but wasn't enough apparently). If it wasn't so far down on my phone I could live with the tiny bubble as the bubble isn't in the middle of the screen and barely noticeable. Glad I got the 2 pack so I can try again. My Note 9's screen looks amazing with the screen protector on and no grid of dots or lint/dirt along the side where the glue is on cheaper ones. I carefully taped the side of my phone to protect the ports and I'm glad I did as the pads don't stop all the liquid from going down the side of the phone. Great product.

After i read so many people saying having bubbles after install. I not want same experience so i let the UV like 5 mins top- middle and bottom ea. And then don't turn phone on for like 2-3 hrs for the glue to cure in the inside. No bubbles. 👍

Unfortunately it seems like this doesn't work perfectly with the curved edge screens. I'm on my third screen protector right now since the last two held up for about two months but then started to get these squiggly marks at the very start of the curved part of the screen where the adhesive starts to let go.
It's not due to my handling of the phone as I never change the phone's case and I'm clinically meticulous with both the installation of the screen protector and my general caution about damaging my expensive phone.
Sucks because when it works it's really the perfect screen protector in my opinion.

I had issues installing my first screen protector as I did it in a room with not so great lighting so I couldn't totally see what I was doing. It had a small bubble on the left hand side of the screen and the protector was positioned too far down on the phone (was hanging off the bottom by 1-2 mm). I don't blame the product or the process at all that was my fault. Used my second protector in a room with better lighting and it installed flawlessly with no bubbles and positioned perfectly. It looks amazing and I don't even have to have touch sensitivity turned on! Thanks for a great product!

Well I bought the two pack and the first install did not go well. The package sat outside in the cold for a few hours so I let it thaw out for two hours hoping that would allow the adhesive to flow. It appeared to flow with no issues but a mass of bubbles appeared when I dropped the glass. Well that was a wash so I tried to clean off the glass and it did not clean up well at all. On to the second glass which appeared to go much better but after the install there is a narrow vertical bubble on the lower right side with another small bubble below that. I'll see how it works for me but overall though the instructions are clear it appears there are too many variables that can screw up the install.

You are exactly right. You can have things perfectly level and get an elongated drop. If you get an air bubble, right from the get go work it out before the glass gets all the way down. You cannot work it out later because if you do, it will come up where you squeezed the glue out and you will have air bubbles where you pressed hard to chase it out. You must chase immediately before its all the way down. Even so, it will probably take both bottles. So, IMO the key is the glue, which you can buy without Whitestone. Whitestone got enough out of me and it won't happen again. Not selling the glue separately is rotten.

Will the air bubbles in the center go away ?or do you need to sent me two more screens ? I put them on mine and my wife note 9 and both had bubbles

Same here. There’s still tiny bubbles but barely noticeable. I wish I didn’t bump it and uncenter the glue but it ended up turning out pretty decent besides the tiny bit of glue that I pushed out into my speaker. Still works though!

I figured out the issue the second time around..... the reason you get air bubbles is the part when you move fluid to center of phone... before you pull out and let the case drop you need to make sure the fluid hot the screen protector first. If the fluid doesn't touch the protector before you drop it on then it will always have air bubbles.

That hapoened to me to. I had a decent sized air bubble in the middle i just pushed it while it was still wet. Was very careful it didnt go into slots. It was super stressful and i regreted it midway but i survived and ended up with a successful installation

@@michaelcrawford2726 Like anyone is suppose to know this? I knew it's the reason it would do it, & I looked for someone else who figured it out, too. They don't even tell their customers about it... What a rip-off~ Note: What happens is the liquid absorbs air, so the moment the glass makes contact it becomes a bubble
I'm currently waiting for my replacement~

Hi. I follow step by step and watch 3 times this video, and I didn´t get it right. What should I do? It got stick well and all but is not alaigned as it should. At the bottom is right at the edge and on the top is just a bit below. Should I take it out with a hair dryer and try again? What do you reccomend? Please help.

Gosh, I need this screen protector. I was dumb enough to get the Spigen Neoflex, and it was easy to install and was case friendly, but the clarity is absolutely terrible, making my Note 9 look cheap. From what I hear, this is the best, and I really wish I had the money to get this

Question...do I need to turn on the Touch Sensitivity in the display settings? All other glasses you DO have to but I'm wondering if I don't have to now since the adhesive spreads out over the whole glass.

    • @beefiddy8
      @beefiddy8 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

With this protector, you do not need touch sensitivity turned on. I had it on with my previous protector and as a test turned it off with this protector on and it works beautifully as-is.

Users: make SURE that, wherever you place the kit to install it, it's flat! The glue will just slide right off. Thankfully they put 2 bottle of glue.

No only this one. And others are just stick on but apparently pop off on there own that’s why I went with this one. And yes you can remove it with no issues just use a hair dryer then peel.

Doesn't work. I've tried 4 times. It just doesn't work. I got it to work the first time, but I had other issues with it and ended up taking it off, the adhesive on the edges chipped away causing a rainbow effect that kept getting worse. The next 4 times I tried ended in bubbles. Every. Single. Time. I have spent so much money on screen protectors between Zagg, Whitestone, and otao that I could've just bought a screen repair if I broke my screen without them.

I don't know, it seemed to do a good job with mine. My note 9 fell face flat on uneven asphalt. You can even see the points of impact where the asphalt hit and the only thing to crack was the screen protector. Phone is just fine. And judging from those points of impact I feel like if my phone didn't have this on the asphalt would have shattered the actual phone's screen. Granted I don plan on dropping my phone on purpose just as the first time was also an accident, but I feel this does protect against some drops better than film protectors. Accidents happen after all.
