    Do you have a rear sway bar on your Triton. What is your opinion on them? I’m thinking of having them installed to reduce body roll.

    • @ServiceMyRide
      @ServiceMyRide  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't have a rear sway bar but highly recommend them for any 4x4, especially if you have a lift and carry extra weight, will still perform well offroad.

    Now that we are mates 😉 I’d love you to properly explain the 4wd setup on my new GLS Triton. As I understand it “2H” means rear wheel drive, but really only one wheel drive. “4H” means rear wheels (one wheel) and front wheels (one wheel). Which is still only one wheel drive because of the centre diff. “4HLc” means lock the centre diff so really only two wheel drive. One front wheel and one back wheel. With a diff lock on the rear would mean 3WD and diff lock the front diff would mean true 4WD. Did I get it right? Thanks.

      as we are now "mates" 😉 yes mate, you have explained it as the book would describe the workings of the triton drive train and my understanding of how its works is the same, you should be writing the material for this channel as you have nailed the explanation of it, please dont go into competition with me 😂😜👊

    It looks like good a good video but if you made a small mistake it could cost you more . I think getting the talk setting correct would be a very important step. Plus buying all the bits and peices to do this job could cost so it may be easier to take it to the mechanic. And no you have a warranty. But thanks for you great videos service my ride.

    Absolute godsend, This probably has to be one of the best explained "how to" videos i have seen. I'm a bit late to the party, (so hope you still receive notes) but you honestly just saved me $600. Mech wanted to charge me $871 to do pads, rotos and flush. i did in a bit over an hour and it cost me $210 for parts and consumables.

    27 +_ 4 nm now does that mean plus or minus 4 nm?

    • @ServiceMyRide
      @ServiceMyRide  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi mate, I understand it to be a variance on the bolt, Min and Max, so a 27+4 only would be a min of 27 an Max 31NM, happy to be corrected if this is not correct.

I’m surprised at your low number of subs. Still it will grow I’m sure. You should try to partner up with one of the big names like TJM or ARB to showcase their products. I’d love to see you do a video on...bullbars, diff lockers, driving lights etc.. Are you in Sydney or Melbourne?

    Hi mate, I actually have to get my brakes done at a shop due to not having the time or piston compressors to do the job myself.
    Do the wheel bearings need any adjustments done to them during the brake swap? I want to make sure I'm not getting shafted for unnecessary work being done.

      Found out that the rear rotors and calibers are similar but the process is more convoluted. Took twice as long as the hub needs to be thoroughly cleaned to receive the new rotors and reduce the risk of runout.
