This is such a great clip to show someone who has never watched Nichijou. Self, contained, has the typical Nichijou humour, has a nice twist, basically every ingredient to convince someone to watch the show.
Sad that the studio, literally got washed away, along with most of its crew as well... very tragic for a studio that made one of the most light-hearted, funniest slice-of-life anime with good voice acting... The character's realistic panic and confusion makes the scene so much better, because it gives the scene verisimilitude. As a result, the silliness has much stronger impact than if it was all nonsense.
