Still kinda characterizes a child-like mentality, most really young kids won't fully and immediately understand a figure of speech after all.

All i could think about is that in certain parts of the world, the dogs would be euthanized and the dog owner would be either made to pay damages to the children's families or jailed. An old lady in my grandmother's flat got bitten by a dog on a leash. Owner (a doctor at that) got jailed for a year and the dog got euthanized.

I'm genuinely upset. Nichijou was arguably a masterpiece of the slice-of-life genre. It was praised by critics but absolutely hated by fans, claiming that the series ruined the company's reputation, and it's truly sad, because so many aspects of the anime were not and will never be tied up now except in the manga. It's really upsetting to me knowing that, especially after episode 26, Nichijou just ended on such an incomplete note, and I really dislike that and I almost cried because of it. Nonetheless, I never have and never will watch anything quite like Nichijou. It's truly the most creative, funny, and inviting anime I've ever watched and ever will watch. Nothing in my mind will change the fact that Nichijou is the best SoL anime I've seen. Not even Lucky Star tops it to me. Nichijou > Lucky Star.
How about Asobi Asobase? It's clearly influenced by Nichijou. Besides this anime was not as popular for Kyoani since it was broadcasted during Japan's earthquake, but their sales were not that bad. Of course KyoAni then reached perfection when they released Hibike! and Violet
Didn't know it was hated. I know it was criticized for taking liberties with the animation budget... which I don't get, it's not like it's our money. And seeing just how far they take the jokes and how much they put into them is what makes it so funny.

This was enough success in Japan. This was also re-broadcast on NHK. A lot of people know this anime in Japan. There is also popular. But DVD sales was bad because of the cunning business way of Kadokawa. DVD was too expensive. And DVDBOX was NHK version. (Episode quantity in this box is less than half of the original version) Two years later, has been finally released the full-size DVDBOX/Blu-ray BOX. Two years it was enough to everyone loses interest. Because I love this anime, I bought the complete Blu-ray BOX.

I'm genuinely upset. Nichijou was arguably a masterpiece of the slice-of-life genre. It was praised by critics but absolutely hated by fans, claiming that the series ruined the company's reputation, and it's truly sad, because so many aspects of the anime were not and will never be tied up now except in the manga. It's really upsetting to me knowing that, especially after episode 26, Nichijou just ended on such an incomplete note, and I really dislike that and I almost cried because of it. Nonetheless, I never have and never will watch anything quite like Nichijou. It's truly the most creative, funny, and inviting anime I've ever watched and ever will watch. Nothing in my mind will change the fact that Nichijou is the best SoL anime I've seen. Not even Lucky Star tops it to me. Nichijou > Lucky Star.
How about Asobi Asobase? It's clearly influenced by Nichijou. Besides this anime was not as popular for Kyoani since it was broadcasted during Japan's earthquake, but their sales were not that bad. Of course KyoAni then reached perfection when they released Hibike! and Violet
People hated Nichijou? I never heard anyone hating it so far
How about Azumanga?
atil mizu Azumanga popped my animu cherry. I absolutely adore it.
Didn't know it was hated. I know it was criticized for taking liberties with the animation budget... which I don't get, it's not like it's our money. And seeing just how far they take the jokes and how much they put into them is what makes it so funny.

But DVD sales was bad because of the cunning business way of Kadokawa.
DVD was too expensive.
And DVDBOX was NHK version. (Episode quantity in this box is less than half of the original version)
Two years later, has been finally released the full-size DVDBOX/Blu-ray BOX.
Two years it was enough to everyone loses interest.
Because I love this anime, I bought the complete Blu-ray BOX.
