And despite probably passing all grades and COLLEGE at this point, she still acts like an eight year old. It’s genuinely so heartwarming ❤

Professor asking Nano if she wanted to go to school during a moment where she depends on Nano, for me is one of the sweetest and bravest decisions and actions of hers... ..lol until she tried to take it all back when she found out that Nano won't be home almost everyday until around 5pm. I was very very happy for Nano when she started attending school.
That Hakase built a big sister robot who looks for her, but is a regular child otherwise who doesn't seem very smart, and refuses to remove Nano's key to let her go, and also doesn't seem to have parents, always felt deeper to me than it was probably intended.
On my first visit to Japan, I went to Aamori and stayed at a hotel where I was given a "traditional room" - tatami mats on the floor and a bedroll (is this called a futon?) to sleep on the floor. It was great! This scene always seems to me kind of cozy - Hakase is in the same room as her friend/protector and Sakamoto. it would be a lot worse if she was in a room by herself!

ohhhh I always thought the key was just there and I always wondered how Nano was able to put clothes on. But if the key is removable then it makes sense.
I love how subtle they are about how hakase peed herself at the end. They both look down at her pajamas then look to each other in a panic. Then the director cuts to a pipe overflowing and leaking with rainwater (get it? Cuz hakase's pajamas are "leaking" with pee)
Sakamato and Nano's relationship just like husband and wife, both matured at important situation, and had to dealt with Hakase which is like their daughter.
