They were married in 69 and she died in 98. Just share of 30 years of marriage and she's already been 24 almost 25 years since she passed.. He's been without his wife now almost as long as they were married. And he hasn't had much luck in life after. Heather just used him for fame and money and it's awful but it's very hard to find someone genuine in his position.

Yeah, you see how close they are. She looks the most like him. Also she's a TV Producer and Photographer in her own right. Paul & Linda along with Diana Ross did a superb job with their Children. No issues of drugs, alcohol, the law. When he was in College James waited Tables to earn pocket money. How admirable is that. Stella was also fantastic in the sense she designed The Dress for Nancy Shevell (Wife #3).

This man really is a miracle. He was in the biggest band in the world for 10 years and dealt with crazy ass fans and a crazy stressful schedule-all before the age of 28!
Then he lost his dream and his best friends in a nightmare situation I can’t even imagine dealing with. He almost let himself die from drink and depression until he found the courage to try again with his amazing wife by his side. And with hard work, a little faith, and the patented Paul McCartney charm he accomplished the unthinkable: fronting **another** world famous band for 10 years scoring LOADS of #1 songs and albums the entire time-Paul had a #1 song EVERY YEAR from 1970 to 1980.
He is insanely talented and I’m so proud of him for putting himself out there again after The Beatles-I adore Wings so much. Paul has made millions of people happy for sixty years and that in itself is something few other (if any) artists can say. Thank you Paul, you are a true one and only ❤

I seem to recall an acoustic set with all the guys playing guitar, sitting on the floor of the stage with your legs hanging over playing a variety of Beatles and Wings songs. Amazing memory. This so was beautiful Paul found someone who made him feel the most him that he could be. She was so down to earth and grounded and she kept him grounded as well. They didn't have a fake marriage. It was true and genuine. I like how he said that yes there were times where they argued but you just got through it. Thats very true. You can tell just by the way he speaks about her that she was and will always be the greatest love of his life. The way he tells their stories to his daughter is so sweet. Paul and Linda have a love that we all hope to have in our own relationships and I found myself thinking about my own husband and how much I loved him and how much Paul and Linda reminded me of me of us. Thank you Paul for doing this documentary it was beautiful ❤️

Being a fan of Paul McCartney- For Quite a number of years and still am, I caught this documentary on TV in 2001- in later picked it up in Sam goody ( a popular music store four it's time.)-- Everybody knew the Beatles and their music; thank Goodness for that..!!
When I was growing up I heard Wings on the radio all the time WNEW-FM- NY WPLJ latter WAPP-FM And every where else.
This documentary gives a very good account of their love ❤, and how They're affection for each other Grew 💙 and develop much Further.. it's a very Beautiful account of what they had and what they shared- Even though Linda- sadly lived a short Life, The memory of what they had, and what they shared will live on With their Children and in the Fans they have. In Rock and Roll History Forever..

I was really sad when Linda got sick and passed. She was so beautiful and strong. They were so obviously soul mates. Made a beautiful family. Enjoyed each others talents and intertwined their talents. The Beatles wrote such awesome music!! I remember feeling such joy and euphoria when I heard their music. The McCartney Album was incredible!!!! I still play it today and enjoy the hell out this music...because it's real " music" the stuff on the radio today is just empty. It doesn't move my soul a bit.❤😘 Thank you so much Paul. For never giving up writing such healing music! Such wonderful music. The Beatles influenced me to become a pretty good musician. I discovered the Beatles at age 8 in 1969, and was heartbroken when they broke up soon afterwards. But then...WINGS!!! And Paul looked hotter and performed better than ever!! That hot babe could PLAY AND SING HIS ASS OFF!!! I was In Love, all through my teens. I am now 56, and hope to see Paul perform the next time he comes to America. Watching this video, made me realize just how many Wings songs I loved, and forgot all about, until today, a quiet November Saturday at home, grieving the loss of a fellow Beatle loving friend, Jimi Image...we used to spend hours, playing Beatles songs in the 80's singing along with our own harmonies, and we knew every word to every song. So when he passed away, I came here to post the interview on Jimi's page, where Paul plays John's song "Beautiful Boy," and breaks into tears, cause that's how I was feeling about losing Jimi...autoplay was on, and it rolled right into this video. It's been a day of re-living so many lost memories. Thanks for posting this video.

Loved the acoustic and harmonies on “Bluebird”. I’d quite forgotten how much my sister and I loved Wings. We were immersed in Beatles all our childhoods (b. 1958 & 1960).
By the time Band on the Run came out, she was around 15, we a couple of years later, when what was left of our family splintered, it was me and sis, me bunking on the sofa in her damp rented flat. We’d play this & Red Rose Speedway endlessly. They weren’t the “great days” you’d hope your teens to be, but for us, it was a period of glorious, predictable calm, after years of severe tension at what passed for home.

Mac was very lucky to have met Linda. He had a lot on his plate and could have gone a self-destructive path but she helped him through the legalities of his past and, through slowing their lives down, a self exploration of who he was. It’s very hard starting all over when you’ve been on top and with her and the kids (and animals), he jump-started his career and himself. In other words, as strange as it sounds folks, he needed her much more than she needed him. Yet she took it on herself (having to deal with the bullshit of marriage of an ex-Beatles) and helped To create a new, healthy, Paul McCartney. For all who love his music, we all owe her a great debt. Thank You!, Linda Eastman-McCartney.

That footage of Let It Be still breaks my heart…I was 7 years old, the announcement had just been made that The Beatles were calling it quits, my whole world was ending and the news cast ended with that clip of Paul singing let it be and I was sobbing my little broken heart out. I still feel that little girl’s pain. I can also say, as the world’s greatest procrastinator I’m so sorry, Uncle Albert..is still my mantra and the first record I ever owned which was a Christmas present from Mum and Dad was Ram..then every Wings album thereafter…making Xmas gift gifting pretty easy for them. I won Venus and Mars in a Violet Crumble competition….I also gots Linda’s Pictures for my birthday and still treasure it. It’s a piece of music history, unparalleled….all that to say, Paul and Linda were great together, and they somehow combined down-to-earth family life and rock and roll, and made it work. Linda left this earth way too soon..this is a lovely tribute.

Change is inevitable it was always a mystery to me "why" the Beatles broke up, but people can outgrow each other, and business matters can ruin any relationship. Im 54 and grew up with WIngs playing in the car with me mom driving here and there... all over the radio them days. This documentary brings me back and is nostalgia to the point of tears. Have recently revisited all the Wings/Ram era stuff and have concluded this is some REALLY AMAZING SHIT... REALLY. Well done PAUL and LINDA... Ram is unrivaled and so much more. The easy (and heavy) like Sunday morning love between these two is really really something. Whats more, Paul's music post Beatles is ICONIC and omnipresent in this ol guys head. THANK YOU PAUL and Linda for the example of your love. This doc captures that time so exceptionally. Linda REALLY is such a little Yank Hippie Chick, eh.... Just so laid back and utterly fantastic> Cheers Linda. Thank you for this art... it has me filled to the brim.

When they were growing up, their Children lead a relatively "normal" life and that's saying alot when you look at the Children of The Beach Boys, not to mention Ronnie Wood's Children in The Rolling Stones. They went to a Regular School, had a regular allowance, did chores, had to work no privileges whatsoever. Even James his "Only" Son knows he has such big shoes to fill whenever he performs but he's done it all, wait tables, work as a sculptor and although he knows he'll never live up to his Father's Achievements, he's happy with his lot. I hear he loves Nancy Shevell alot.

Linda was such a loving wife and very devoted to Paul, even on stage she is always looking at him smiling, so happy and content. Very very sad to lose her, she was such a world person in her thoughts with so much compassion, a fantastic artist, clever, smart, and so lovely in general. Some people are just so ignorant and have little conscious about their actions when they got married, which is a shame on them. RIP Linda, you are a star among stars and God bless you sweet heart.

I loved Linda. What a beautiful person she was. This made me cry. Life is so not fair sometimes. My mum died at 41 in 1976. She was beautiful too. Lovely to see this film. I loved Wings to bits back then. X❤

He really loved his wife and he wanted to work with her. I love the way they lived the 70s and I loved Wings music. A real icon.
A maker of music. And a normal down to earth man.

What a lovely love story. Linda was a nature gal and Paul followed her desire because he new it would make her happy. They were very kind to one another through all of rock and rolls ups and downs. But Paul will be remembered forever as one of the greatest musicians of our era, he is such a blessing to us, it's to bad Linda isn't still by his side.

I was born in 1965 -- in the middle of it all. Since the day I started noticing and appreciating music, I loved the Beatles music -- and I really loved Paul. lol It warms my heart that he found such love and happiness with Linda. I wish it could've lasted longer for him. You're a rock star Paul -- wait -- you really are a rock star! ps I would've loved, loved, loved to have lived on that farm in Scotland with all of those animals. :)
