I have been watching Honda Accord O2 sensor related TH-cam videos over the past 30 minutes. 1 minute into this video, I like this guy already because he knows what is going on.
2016 Accord, 72k miles, first time check engine light on, P0420. I simply deleted this code by the scan tool one week ago, and have not seen it back after 500 miles. Update: The code was on (100-150 miles) and off (300-500 miles), for 2-3 months. I pulled the sensor out and cleaned it, but CEL was on again after 600 miles. Replaced the sensor (Denso) and it works so far about 2k miles.
Hello, I replaced the downstream sensor, but the check engine light came back on 3 weeks later. I scanned it again and the same code was displayed. However, it says bank 1. Does this mean it's the upstream O2 sensor? I have a 2015 Honda Accord Spot. Your Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
Ok ur car 4 cylinder only has one bank so this is it how many miles ur car has? Might be time to replace that catalytic and also the upstream sensor with it

Hey good vid bro! I have a po420 on my 2015 honda crv , I have a thermo gun and have checked inlet and outlet The front inlet weld ring reads 480 and the outlet reads 350 Should I still just try and change rear sensor?
I have a P0420 on my 2015 CRV,I should replace a downstream oxygen sensor too , without needing to diagnose anything ? But on the other hand, O2s11 voltage shows, from 0 to 254 mili amps, why does it jump so high ? Thanks
I have had the check engine light on for quite some time now, took to autozone came back with several codes P0420, P0300, P0302, P0303 ended replacing the catalytic converter, the 2 O2 sensors, MAF, Camshaft sensor, the fuel rail was replaced because it was leaking gas and after all this replacement the check engine still on and getting the P0420 code engine hesitates when taking off or when i first turn it on takes a bit to start, what else can the problem be? I have a 2016 Honda Accord LX 2.4L,
what about the upstream? I changed the upstream by myself but got acode again later, then I got the downstream sensor changed at a shop and the light came back weeks after. I did get the upstream sensor on amazon and it was $20 so maybe I need the upstream replaced again?
My 2016 honda has the same code and also the paper I received from autozone suggests replacing battery as I was receiving 12.4 V. Also sometimes my vechile doesn’t crank but it does after I loosen up the battery terminal and tighten them back.
