Great review.... I bought this tv in a 48inch for my daughter... looking forward to setting it up for her next week when she moves into her place.. think she'll like it cos of the ambilight too...
Hi there, this tv looks amazing,it has great sound? I am looking for replacement for my Samsung Q8FN and this samsung has the best sound quality i ever heard on 5 samsung tvs, thanks
I went with this and for the most part it's excellent. Two things I can't figure out: Some scenes are really dark on faces when I know they shouldn't be (testing Top Gun Maverick, John Hamm's face is really dark to the point you can't fully see his eyes). I can't find a way of manually bringing the brightness up? Secondly, how to connect my hue bridge to this, so my philips lights can be in sync like my old philips TV.
Phillips no longer provides this facility via their ambilight TV's. They discontinued this function starting from their 2023 TVs. It's ridiculous as most dedicated ambilight TV fans have brought into the Philips hue system. And the ability to extend the ambilights beyond the TV was a great selling feature Also for me the reason why I brought into the ambilight ecosystem!
Hello, I also bought a 55oled809/12 but it has some problems that bother me. I had set ambilight to ai mode and now I can't change it. Can you please help? Also, thank you very much for the content.
@@hxosplus I have tried everything but it doesn't work. The incident happened like this; I was playing PlayStation and I selected the game mode from the ambilight settings. At that moment, I noticed that there was an AI mode among the options and I activated the AI mode. Then I could not use any of the options again. No matter what I choose, standard, cinema or music, it always stays in game mode and I cannot change it in any way. The button to disable the AI mode cannot be clicked either. I could not solve this problem in any way, I would be very happy if you could help me. Thank you also for your understanding and immediate response...
Hi! I have a question: I'm about to buy this TV model and I'd like to know if it's possible to adjust the channels of the Digital terrestrial television (DTT) basing on the region. I'm Italian and the model for my region is 819, but since I'm bying the European model, I'd like to be sure i can also select Italy as region and find my local channels via antenna. The TV is cool! Thank you for the review 😍
thank you for informations, how is the tv doing so far, can you help me decide. I want 809 but afraid of oled burns and lines etc. I suppose you have used 808 before, did it burn? Is 809 any better than 808. I see many people complain about oled burns/faded area/vertical line. Even before 2 years it burns and services refuse free repair they say user error. Is 4 hours a day much for oled ? I am even concerned of watching news because there are stationary visuals.
I have the 808 48 inch..that tv is so good i wonne buy a 55inch... should i buy the 809? I bought the 8909 from this year but its shit. Sending it back.. gonne stay with oled.. get 808 a bigger or.. 809..
What Hi-fi (reliable reviewer) gave it 5 stars. Check out their in-depth written review on their website. These TVs aren't available in the USA so they don't get as much coverage, that's my theory.
Still shitty plastic remote control, still 100Mbits lan? I really love ambilight but I will keep both of my LG oleds, root them, bought sk6812 leds, esp32, install piccap, hyperhdr to the tv’s, set everything up and voila, ambilight on webOS, forget Philips 🤓
Thank you for this video. I don't understand why there's almost no reviews of this model on the internet.
I have the 809 in 65 and the image quality is one of the best i ever seen. What a sharp perfect picture with fine details

What's with colour accuracy? Do it needs calibration or it's ready out of the box? Especially in HDR mode.
Will it work with pc better then C4?
@@flutek891 All TVs require calibration, but this one is an excellent one out of the box.
@@hxosplus excellent means colours are neutral not oversaturated or something?
What can you say about stutter?
Does anyone know if BBC iPlayer is available on this TV? UK version. I've read conflicting answers
It's a Google TV. If the app it's on Google TV then exists on this TV as well.
Can you review the 759 also please?
I wished you had made a review in the sun lights so we can see how bad is the reflection on the screen, does it has some antiglare antireflection ?

Can you mount it on the wall , or it will be a problem because of the sub woofer?

How does this TV compare to the Samsung S90D? The QD OLED panel is very hyped as is the gaming performance of the Samsung.
"Ambilight on dark content" What are all the other options besides High?
What do you think about the 9090? Is there a difference? Which one would you recommend? Thank you.

Why they dont do 4 side lights anymore. Im contemplating to get 65OLED809/98 or 65OLED807/98
