Which 8 foods with basically zero carbs / zero sugar still contain beneficial, diabetes-fighting nutrients?
1) Feta cheese is practically free from carb content, and it is considered an excellent choice for diabetics, as it is a great source of PROTEIN, MONOUNSATURATED FATTY ACIDS, and PROBIOTICS.
2) Grass-fed beef contain higher levels of beneficial nutrients, and less calories, fat and sugar, than grain-fed beef, and it is also free from carbs and sugar. And it’s an excellent source of protein and OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS, which reduce inflammation, improve insulin sensitivity, and reduce triglycerides.
3) Black coffee has been found to aid the body in producing insulin more efficiently, thanks to its supply of CAFFEINE, which can increase the production of GLUCOSE TRANSPORTERS in muscle cells. This allows insulin to work more effectively, which works to reduce blood sugar levels.
4) Eggs are practically free from any carbs, and they contain zero sugar, but they are an excellent source of glucose-stabilizing protein. They are also an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, which have been shown to decrease triglycerides and harmful LDL cholesterol, while also helping improve long-term blood glucose control.
5) Chicken is a lean protein choice that is also free from carbs and sugar. Eating lean protein reduces the body’s release of GHRELIN - a hormone which makes you feel hungry. At the same time, it increases the body’s release of AMYLIN - a hormone which makes you feel full.
6) Thanks to its fermentation process, apple cider vinegar contains ACETIC ACID, which improves the body’s ability to metabolize fats and carbohydrates. Studies show that ACV can reduce the rise of blood sugar after eating, decrease insulin resistance, and it helps to reduce total cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
7) Wild-caught salmon supplies OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS, which helps reduce inflammation while improving insulin sensitivity. It also includes blood sugar-balancing B VITAMINS - like COBALAMIN, NIACIN, PYRIDOXINE, and THIAMINE, plus MAGNESIUM, POTASSIUM, and SELENIUM.
8) Bone broth contains a vast assortment of antioxidant vitamins and minerals, including CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM, PHOSPHORUS, and POTASSIUM. Bone broth is also rich in COLLAGEN, which may aid joint and muscle health.
For the impatient like I am:
8 - feta cheese, 7 - grass-fed beef, 6 - black coffee, 5 - eggs, 4 - chicken, 3 - apple cider vinegar, 2 - wild-caught salmon, 1 - bone broth
Plus bonus: Zero Carb Snack - Nori Seaweed Sheets
Thanks for reading!

Very informative! I’m a type (2) myself.
Fantastic video right on, although I would add pure butter and meat fat to 😉
Can't afford salmon, very expensive where i live.. i buy sardines in olive oil, I'm not a fan of fish but i trying to learn to see food as fuel, i don't like the taste but OMG, i feel more alive now than i have in years.
Lost a ton of weight also .. 👌👍
I’m Tasmanian. We have “Atlantic salmon” farms everywhere, despite having our own Australian Salmon. The industry is corrupt I would never eat fish I haven’t caught myself.
Buy un farmed salmon. Buy Pacific wild salmon. Much better for you.
I would like to say a big "Thanks"to this programme.
I feel more alive now after known my level of sugar a bit more than 7.
Thanks again

Large 1 ounce serving.....? Gobble Gobble ....Steak.....mmmmmm yum ...what no crickets as a side dish. ? Coffee is good! The cider is great too. A great lunch is a salmon filet on a bed of salad at Chili's! Have to get some bone broth ! Thanks...great video!
If you go into Iceland and read the ingredients of most processed meat,, ie breaded etc , it’s hard to find any that come without added sugar.
If it's breaded, it's processed. Just purchase the one-ingredient whole food.
Good stuffs, thanks. 😂😂😂
Imformative
Hi! Don't Do A Lot Of Cooking & I Just Ate A Packet Of Donuts, Do To People Fighting Out Side, I Don't Know What The Problem Was, However I Did Send A Text To The Manager!! I want to learn more about how to keep my blood sugar low
I love ACV! I use it daily because I don’t buy premade salad dressing and just drizzle Olive oil and ACV, shake some dried herbs over the O&V add S&P. I feel like it’s healthier than premade that’s been sitting on a shelf from months to years.
B.
Hmm, can’t figure out what O&V is? Thanks for enlightening me!

What is S&P?🙏🏻🙏🏻
Very useful and comprehensive advice
Thanks Maureen, glad you found it useful!
Is the black coffee with caffeine? I usually drink decaf.
90%+ dark bitter chocolate or even better pure bitter cocoa powder should be included in this list. Almond and walnut (dried shell fruits in general) too.
No!
@@Dsdafg Why not ?
Very informative. Would love to see a video that includes the sweet potatoes and chick peas used to make some type of bread.
Also no!
Sweet Potatoes ain't any better when it comes to carbs compared to regular Potatoes, the only real difference, is that Sweet Potatoes has 14.000 times the amount of A-Vitamin, that's it, and Peas in general is not good for you in either way, it's a Legume = Not food for humans
I will tell you one of the best food is NETTLE, cooked as soup, paste+one fried egg over, or tea (without any sugar need)It`s delicious and very, very healthy food. Also vegetable salad +olive oil and garlic and apple cider vinegar. It is curable food.
Thank you so much as these foods and madhumehantak churna of Planet Ayurveda help me a lot to overcome the high blood sugar levels in a natural Way. Big Thanks to Your Channel 🙂
Nori seaweed is readily available, at around £300/Kg. I'll stick to cabbage leaves thanks.
Try to find some hijiki. Just a small handful in soup, chicken or miso. Wakame even better, kind of like spinach without, I assume, the oxalates.
Recipe: 2 C chicken broth or miso broth. Piece of ginger size of walnut, peeled and sliced. 2 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed. A little cilantro, rinsed, dried and chopped, if you like it. 2-3 scallions (“green onions”), peeled, cut off end. Slice white part and maybe an inch or two of green.
Boil, add 2-3 pcs wakame broken up. Remove garlic and ginger. Salt to taste. Serve.
Sorry. Boil wakame until tender but still al dente. Add cilanto at the end.
Thanks for providing Summary : however, best to include TIMELINES , Keywords & Hashtags ; CHAPTERS , Concepts , ..... !
What are the sources for these facts

I am a type two diabetic. Also, I am a chronic kidney disease, so red meat and high sodium stuff is off my menu.
Who told you that. Do a liver cleansing with organic castor oil pack and listen to the health champions here. Love & light
how about the adverse effect of feta cheese to cholesterol n trygli...beef..effect on kidneys, due to high purines..increaces creatinine n uric acid level..
Does it make a difference if you have non caffeine or caffeine coffee? ?
please anyone
Coffee not a food
What if the salmon is are from fish farms ..does it keep its omega 5 and vitamins as wild caught salmon ❤❤...very interesting and informative video 👍
I guess it depends on what the salmon eat, I believe farmed salmon are fed corn meal etc. Probably not very good if that's the case.
@@lewisjeffreys9175 what if the salmon is farmed in Norway is it good to eat from Norway salmon farms ..please get back to me because I wouldn't like to think I'm eating salmon that's supposed to be good for you is a waste of time eating a salmon
Apparently some say 'the worlds most toxic food' between the garbage they are fed to the pollution cause by the farms. Enough to stop me eating it.
Google it I guess and see...
Salmon from tasmania mutate from growth hormones, two headed fish and operators are not uncommon
Every food product sold in stores that is packaged must contain a list of 1) ingredients in the food 2) the amount of sugar, protein3) carbohydrates 4)any other pertinent info like caffeine, dairy etc. look for nutritional info before buying a packaged item so you know how it’s going to affect your blood glucose, gluten if your gluten intolerant, caffeine if your sensitive to caffeine and other important info if you are sensitive to any ingredients.
I've been in the habit lately of reading all packaging! It's helped a whole lot!
Yay! Finally a list of beneficial foods that doesn't include bananas or avocados, neither of which I can eat. Unfortunately, I can't drink coffee either, as it makes me violently ill.
Sorry to hear that, Peter, but we hope you'll find benefits with other foods we mentioned in this vid!
Stop complaining. Count your blessings 🎶🎶🎶✌️
Bananas would never be beneficial, it's nothing but sugar
I feel for ya. I cannot stand feta cheese, nor seaweed sheets. But the rest are edible in my book!
Wild game elk?😊
So all LDL cholesterol is bad?
Bonjour. Je ne parle pas Anglais comment faire pour comprendre ce que vous dites ?
Like to see the difference in wild salmon compared to farm salmon which onebis best to eat and why please
Allegedly farm salmon, raised in pens, eat a lot of fish poop.
Wild caught is from the ocean
Farm raise are from a man made pond on a farm where thousands of them are packed together and there not much space for them to swim around.I'm not sure what they are fed
@@recurrent5348correct
so coffee with milk is bad?
Hi! If Your Not Use To Black Coffee , Can You Add A Bit Of Stevia Till You Get Used To It??? Thanks! Marcia Dove
Yes, Stevia is good. It has no carbs, no sugars, and won't spike your insulin. Acquired taste though. I think it tastes like black licorice.
How do I get the 3 free gifts
1. Bone broth
2. Salmon
3. Apple Cider Vinegar
4. Chicken
5. Eggs
6. Black coffee
7. Grass fed beef
8. Feta cheese
Don't like any of these things. Not one.
Thanks for this you’re a champion.
❤😂🎉😅😊
Thank you. I love it so except coffee

Can people with lactose intolerant, eat the first cheese
Thanks so much. But Apple Cider Vinegar is produced by adding sugar. Is there a brand that does not contain sugar? Please help. Regards
But surely the added sugar has turned into the vinegar?
Apple cider vinegar is made by adding yeast to crushed apples. This ferments the sugar in the apples into alcohol. The alcohol is then treated with bacteria, which converts it into acetic acid. Because the apples' sugar has been “eaten” by the yeast, apple cider vinegar is virtually carb free.
Brags (organic) is the only brand that I buy. It contains “the mother “ which is a fiber vehicle for important enzymes giving it it’s cloudy appearance .
All vegetables and fruits contain “sugars” but it is the fiber vehicle that slows sugar spikes (the way nature intended sugar to be consumed (as a complex carb and not a simple processed carb.
Diabetics often have high fat , high sugar diets due to cravings because their cells are starved of the energy (complex sugar ) needed to feed the cells and provide energy. The cells starve and constant hunger becomes a vicious cycle .
The problem with adding a fat to a simple carb diet is that the fat instead of the fiber becomes the vehicle that transport’s energy and food to our cells. The fat will then implant on the arteries. It’s a deadly combination. Nature provides a balanced whole food .
That doesn’t mean people should start drinking glassfuls of fermentation. One to two tbs is sufficient. Less is more . A good ACV is cloudy in appearance. Brags does not add sugar , the sugar is in the apple which is broken down (fermented) . Drinking glassfuls may erode teeth. I use Brag’s for salads instead of red or white vinegar .
@@vatsmith8759. But once I take Apple Cider Vinegar, my blood sugar spikes!
You cannot ferment without sugar. In kefir, the yeasts eat the milk sugar. In fermented carrots, the carrots provide the sugar. That means there is no vinegar of any kind (cooking varieties) made without some sugar. It is negligible and almost certainly harmless.
Is gelatin a good kind of dessert for diabetics?
0 sugar
Not if it contains sugar. And even non-sugary sweeteners keep alive the craving for sweet foods. Best to stay away from sweets, even fruit, until your numbers are better. What’s your A1c? Last blood draw in Sep’23, mine was5.7-prediabetic. My next is bound to be better, because 6 weeks ago I cut out all sweets and grains. Try to keep tour carbs (from fruit & veg) 100 or fewer. Some (DrEric Westman (sp?) advises only 20 g of carbs. One small leafy green salad and a non-sweet, non-starchy veg. See keto channels for lists of such veg.
Thank you, sadly I am vegetarian so some I can't eat
Is it safe for cholesterol patients. The feta cheese
I wondered same.
Nicole, that is an excellent question, but if you watch your portion size, feta cheese can still be a nutritious and healthy addition to your meal. The American Heart Association recommends not consuming over 5% of your daily calories from saturated fat, and not more than 200 mg of saturated fat per day. Feta cheese, on average, contains 4 mg of saturated fat per ounce, making it a healthier cheese option than cheeses like parmesan, provolone, Swiss, blue, American, and cheddar, among others. Feta can be a bit high in sodium, so it's just important to enjoy this cheese in moderation.
What about eating turkey sausage Hot dogs and fish sticks, and can you bake your own bread 🍞 and biscuits,
No bread has flour and therefore carbohydrates and most biscuits flour and sugar unless you use certain types of sweeteners and almond flour as a substitute
