The dolphin was very happy that lockdown was over so it could motor surf again. The Aurora camera is fantastic the split screen really shows what it does, the night mode vision making the bushes look like they are covered with snow it pretty cool too. Take care and good to see you sailing again. The numbers are still going up for cv19 so wear those masks when in town. : ) peace

I had a Harbor 9’6” 🏄♀️ surfboard back in 1967 that was Checkered like yours is 1:32
But right after that the surfboards got shorter & shorter and when I got out of the Navy 5’9”
To 6 feet and I never surfed again.

If you want a heads up on surfing in antigua go for half moon bay one of only a couple breaks

I think dolphins sometimes use boats as protection from predators, traveling in stealth mode, as well as amusement and as well as getting a small kick off the pressure wave.
Thank you for that demo of the Sionyx Aurora Sport. We are going to try this on our guide trips since we are running and setting up long before sunup. Should be a great asset for us.

Yes definitely. We have seen ton of setups on their instagram with military type helmets with the camera attached on a flip down mechanism.

So I know you guys have a sailing catamaran now and you had Tula as your first sail boat, which was a smaller monohull. My question is if you have like a 25' monohull or a 40' sailing catamaran, what is the average or standard height of the main mast? Great video again. Enjoy watching your channel.
Night vision is cool, but I've seen one instance where a couple ladies were hit by a power boat, they were in a dingy. One of the ladies was very close to death, finally recovered after several months. Had a hole in her lung. She has made very few videos since this happened. Having lights that can be seen by other boaters on your dingy is just as important as having them on you main sailing boat.

Do these Sionyx Aurora cameras have HDMI out? These could be good for adding to a cruising boat as well and put the picture on a larger monitor.
You can definitely see more with the aurora sport than you can with the naked eye. I would say you can see more with the naked eye than you can see with the gopro though. The aurora sport can pair with an iPad or phone via wifi. We have been using that feature a bit too!

I noticed you run your dingy with the motor cover on so does your motor overheat due to cool air restrictions to the block of your engine ?
No, it is a loose fitting cover and the engine is cooled via sucking salt water in and spitting it out rather than the air. Have never had a problem with overheating or restricting air
dwhen youre looking at the area around you do you eyes see more like the sionyx or the go pro? and whats the main difference between the sionyx and what the eyes see?
I would say your eyes actually see in between the two. You see better than the gopro but definitely not as good as what you can see with the aurora sport.
