Can't tell you how many times I've done the sea urchin thing. Actually did it with both feet one time. The locals have a soft candle remedy which helps. Jetty's face riding in the basket = priceless, Sierra's face when Billy suggests ice-cream = priceless, Billy's face when he makes his family happy = priceless. Thumbs up ya'll!

One of my favorite spots during 22 countries 8000 nm in the Caribbean. We arrived during unsettled weather, breezy, Rainbow, showers, and sun like arriving to Avalon or something. Baguettes are the bomb. Great vibe, people awesome. Don’t tell anyone!

Great video of a beautiful place. Thanks. Unfortunately (more maybe fortunately) the reason so few Americans go to Guadalupe is that it is extremely difficult and expensive to get to from the U.S. East coast and there are no big resorts that tend to attract Americans. Norwegian Airlines used to fly there for a couple of winter seasons and then stopped. Now, other than maybe Miami, there is no way to get there without traveling for 2 days (we tried last year to charter there and just couldn’t get there from Philadelphia). With direct flights to places like Aruba, Antigua, St. Martin and STT, most from the U.S. just go elsewhere. Like I said, maybe that is a good thing!

Isn't Guadeloupe the islands that the BBC series "Death in Paradise" was filmed around. The harbor, houses and beaches look so familiar if you watch a few season. Great series with fun island life.

Greetings, I’ve gotta ask, have you ever sliced open a sea urchin under water? My first dive was back in 1969 with our ships Navy Diver. It was like a cartoon, there were no fish to be found, and he sliced open an urchin and fish appeared out of nowhere and gobbled up the urchin and disappeared just as fast. So, I sliced open an urchin and the show was on again.
I thought it was expensive compared to many carib places. Which could explain why its so quiet and clean ? Wondering if those bikes have regen braking so they recharge from the motor as you go down hill ? And, one more qstn, what is that big "clipper" or whatever it is you keep showing ?
