I wish they would release a cast album for the West End production. So many of us only know the OBC and yet performers like Rachelle are so distinct that they make the characters their own.
I wish they release albums for each cast, thats asking too much, but i’d be great to hear multiple different people pull off these characters in their own way

Nyx Reidel that is what he meant. Philipa brought despair and heartbreaking in her “Burn” Rachel brought rage in hers. I forgot whose eliza i heard that brought just confusion in hers, like, “What did I do wrong?” Kind of confusion.

I've watch Hamilton at London Victoria Palace Theatre and witness the spectacular display and brilliant performance of each artist. I have to say that Rachelle Ann portrayed Eliza so beautifully. As soon as this pandemic is gone, I will watch it again. Overall Hamilton West End captivates its historical setting as they render popular music to tell Hamilton's story. Brilliant! Bravo!

I saw her perform this last night and I just bawled like a baby. The original upload of this video was my introduction to Hamilton and to see this performed live was a full circle moment for me. This was more powerful live and you can definitely feel the heaviness and female rage. Thank you again for uploading this.

I grew up in the Philippines, so I knew her since my childhood, but I didn't know she is an original cast of Hamilton in the west side so when I just watched this randomly I went "wait....is that-that Rachelle???"
I really like this interp of burn. Rachelle sounded a lot more angry than Phillipa showing not only the heart break but the ranging agony of being cheated on. My favorite part was when after she threw the letters in the fire, she got up and was like “I” *gasp in realization of what she did* “hope that you burn” I think this highlights that Eliza realized how much she truly loved Hamilton and even tho he did horrific things to her she loved him with all of her heart and couldn’t leave him.

I more meant that the London production was really great despite how much the NY production is hyped up as 'by far the best.' Each production has its strengths, the NY cast is able to bring that Broadway spark, a level of grandeur, and being in the US has an actual connection to the story portrayed, whilst the London production to me has more grit, a different kind of fluidity and the cast has more energy and excitement to be there because they're still new, and a sense of natural coolness, partly because the show doesn't have to like best itself every single time. London's West End and New York's Broadway are distinct theatre scenes and each Hamilton production reflects that - they're both definitely amazing
This puts a really interesting spin on Eliza burning the letters. Her anger here makes one feel that burning his letters is the only way she can get back at him in any way. Still, DAMN. I wish I could have seen this live. Also helps that Rachelle Ann Go is Pinay. And when some of us Pinays get angry...let's just say don't mess with us. XD
