Hello. Do you have a video on aligning flybar blades and swash plate?

as you explain in the video. all swash plate & main rotor head must be leveling ... For those of us as beginners, just learning hovering, the pitch degrees setting is at 0-8 degree, without minus inverted Then the leveling setting on the mid-stick is: 4 degrees Is it true?

Hello. I see that when setting the aileron angle, you install the main blades along the helicopter beam. Is this right?

I like the way Tony explains. But here, we have an Align 450 and in this case - the servos location is such that setting a 90 degrees starting point is easy. I have a Trex-600 ESP and I have a hard time deciding on what is the centre point for Aileron and Pitch... All video clips I watched, DO NOT show this topic clearly... Please help. Thanks

If you can, come over to www.Rc-Help.com and post up some pictures of your helicopter. We will get you setup.

Damn I hate that sun, whenever I make the mistake of letting my model fly into the sun I have to force myself not to panic and look for where it should exit. I always try to keep the sun to my back. The only heli flips, rolls and loops I do are on the sim as I’m just learning CP mode right now. There is a lot of learning in helis.

I now have a Trex-450L Dominator with a Microbeast version 5 controller, but can't find a completer setup clip related to this case.... Wouldlove a link if there is one. Thanks

I can't remember what version it is, but Microbeast setup has been the same for years. Here is an AR7200BX setup series that walks through all of the settings. Only difference is, Mine had a receiver built into it. th-cam.com/play/PLabJwbJaz4QusDM8Ohz6XQ_jkwFUw-1QE.html

Question what if one blade has more pitch than the other blade? How do you set that up?

  • @alexevans5341

Hi pilots, for a tame old flyer like me, just trying to get into this after many years of fixed wing flying. I have no plan to fly inverted or do any 3D, so, why do I have to be so pedantic about mid stick 90 degrees, or do I?

The reason I stress this is because no matter what you are going to do, it keeps the geometry correct on the servo throw. One of these days, you will want to do something like a flip or a roll, or even need to do an auto-rotation if you burn a motor or something, and having that negative pitch will be nice. And, when the time comes, you will not have to relearn the pitch curve and stick feel. Hope that makes sense.
