perfect video, just sent my blade 400 off for a tune up on pitch settings, i didnt know how to do it. if i kept it for a little while longer i would have saved my self £40. this video explains perfectly. il use this for future references. Thank you
thanks for your vids tonight i was out doing nose take offs and hovers with trainers on for piece of mind to start with ,and the trainers started to resonance when i was up high and cliped a blade ,so had to auto with little damage . fixed and ready for tomorrow , i like you vida keep it up many thanks ,,,,
to ajust the deg. of blades for aileron & elevator, use the servo throw part of your TX and ajust the the percentage of throw for the appropriate servo, ie aileron with the pitch gauge on the main blades, ajust throw and check deg on gauge as you change the setting of the throw unitl you reach 6 or 7 deg. do this in both directions left stick and right full stick. do the same for elevator.
you can start with any type of heli, its down to how much you understand about set-up. flybarless helis have a tri axis gyro, and this needs setting up. so you need to fly to ajust the settings.
Fanatstic video can you tell me what I would be needing to setup aileron and elevator for F3C flying... I am only using 9.5 pitch using Funtech FAI blades would like your opionion on this...
GOOD job john ive had cf paddles forever and just hovering and a bit of ff ill change the peddles when start 3d and my rappy 50 has a novarossi .57 motor the rapp 60 has stock paddles. should i us a pitch gauge on the paddles for 7 degrees ? your awesome man thanks
hi you were saying the long bar gives stability , we on the trex and raptor are finding short bar like 350 with red paddles is the most stable in hovers what do you think
hi i have never seen or herd of flybar pitch setting it makes sense is the travel via link rod or servo travel , cause you would need more than 7% on a ccpm head when servo moves for full pitch i cant see on the 450 trex how i can limit the travel to 7%
bogged down = to much blade pitch for the engine to turn, so the engine slows right down. there is a limit to what an engine can turn at any point in time. thats why with helicopters rotor head speed is critical for the engine to in crease power when the blade loading changes.
nitro heli`s are designed to fly with just the main tank. but i wouldnt trust it, if you have the time, put a header tank on, just to be sure no air gets up the fuel pipe.

Thanks for making the effort. I am new to this and once I watch this a few more times, I will at least have some understanding of setting up. Thanks.
Excellent job, been looking every where for this info. Cheers

nice vid mate thumbs up
Great vid mate
Thanks for that useful information.....now I know a little more....
Hello. You do not fix the flybar axis?
good info as i building my first trex 500 hk clone

@kz4506 you use your transmitter prameters to ajust the throw on how far your aileron & elevator move. max travel.
SO ARE YOU SAYING KINDA OF STICK WITH THE BASIC EQUIPMENT IS IT OK TO PUT A HEADER TANK ON A HELIE OR DO I LEAVE IT FOR A FEW DAYS THEN PUT IT ON
can i start on fly barless helies but stock setup then later bling it up with high voltage servos and other upgarde after i learnt to fly a rc helie
Very good

you south london geez? brixton/peckham accent, well cool.
Bloody spektrum fc6250hx video says 12.5 pitch aileron and roll, wtf, that's 24 degree ,unbelievable
hi DEAN great info there m8 dont know if yu still about would like to have a chat with you about my HIROBO SHUTTLE
BEST REGARDS JOHN
