Great demo and review! Hope you had a helmet on! Can it not go up that first off road hill with you peddling with assist and the throttle rather than off the bike though??? And what's the range for that sort of riding i.e. off road and on road with hills? In the UK mud-guards / fenders would be a must, and I'd need the rack... how much would they slow it down and reduce range? Also would the Air 20S i.e. front suspension version be worth it... or not? Many thanks.

Do you have 350w written on your wheel? Thank you so much
Great video, I have just purchased my ADO Air thanks to your review. I have added the throttle which works fine, but I am wondering did you get the horn to work?
I'm looking into getting my first e-bike, and after a lot of research i think my best options are either ADO Air, or Fiido D21, and i'm having a hard time picking between them, maybe you could suggest something if you tried them both? Also a few stores have the EU 250w version priced at 1200eur, which is cheaper than on ADO website, so i'm a bit confused why that could be the case, especially when the bike is very new. And there is another store that has a 350w version for 1350eur and i'm wondering if it's really worth getting the 350w instead of 250w? Also the version with front suspension is coming out, but that one doesn't look worth extra $150++ for more weight and only front suspension, what do you think?
I would personally choose the AIR 20 International version. It has great torque, drive belt and best of of all it has great support. I also highly recommend to buy it from the official store so you avid 3rd party warranty issues.
@@TechTronic9000 from what i've read on ADO website, it's only 1 year warranty? Local shops give 2, but you're probably right, official might be better. What about the version with suspension? Do you think it's really that big of an upgrade for a non-mountain bike?

Can you ride up big curbs? I'm asking cause in my city they've been renovating pavements, sidewalks and bike lanes and as part of the fixes they've replaced throughout majority of the city the curbs from just teens-high to nearly 30 centimetres high ones. Bearing in mind this thing comes with a 20" wheel, that's like 12" radius from ground to wheel hub, basically the same height as of those new curbs we now have, and that means parts of support, fron cog or pedals are way lower... That makes me worry it might become impossible to simply ride up or down such curbs on this bike, it might be even risky as there's no midmounted guard or any protective gear to keep the front cog safe from any impacts on inclines with one wheel on the pavement already and the other on the road, with the high curb in between. But maybe I'm mistaken and this bike's short geometry lends well to curb-climbing/curb-hopping whilst city dwelling?
The OXFO OX1 has a much smaller battery that is why costs less and weights less. Also it doesn't have carbon drive belt transmission, no smart GPS APP and there are more missing. For what it offers the AIR is a very good choice.

So after I've changed from 3 speed to 5 speed, and then hybrid drive instead of torque sensing in engineering settings, when I then move the controller back to normal display, the new settings are lost. Have you a fix or is there a save button I haven't seen. Thanks, Paul.

Hi thanks for this! so one question, because it's not super clear from their website...out of the box, does this international 350w version still come with a speed cap of 25kph in Europe? Does it only unlock to 32kph when you install the throttle, or does it come with the throttle installed? I am asking because here in Malta it's only legal to have it set to 25kph, so I'm not sure if out of the box the international version willl already be illegal....
If you order the international version you will get a box with EU on it, the bike will also be locked to 25km/h. It will come with the bigger more powerful motor, but they will still write 250W on it. If you install the throttle you can unlock it to full 350W+ power and you can do up to 35km/h.

There are 2 versions, one 100% fully EU compatible one with 250W motor and no throttle and there is also the international one, which comes limited to 250W but can unlock for 350W+ power and can install throttle.
Regarding the throttle on an ebike in the U.K. you can have a throttle on the bike, as it’s there for private use, and as far as the police are concerned, it’s only if “ they catch you using the throttle” and in all honesty, the police rarely bother, unless someone is doing ridiculous speeds and cycling in a manner that could harm pedestrians and other road users. The majority of delivery riders for Uber and deliveroo, have bikes with throttles, and I have never heard of any of them having issues with the police.
Yes that is why you can get the simple EU version or the international one and not install the throttle. You can also get the new AIR PRO winch is great and ok for EU.
These thumb throttles are so disappointing to me, I was looking at video reviews of the Ado A20 and Ado A20+ and they had proper pre-installed throttles, now they sell them with the same ones as on this video. That's a no from me, I wanted the bike but not with that.
They are not that bothered, my friends a police man, they never take action against throttle bikes, unless they are doing ridiculous speeds, even then, it’s just a warning, they want to promote cycling, and ignore so called illegal bikes.

Why I have a feeling you were riding at 60+ km/h😅
35km/h and GoPro filming in SuperView / HyperView which distorts the image and makes it look faster.
Unfortunately not legal here in Germany ;)
Yes that is why you can get the simple EU version or the international one and not install the throttle. You can also get the new AIR PRO winch is great and ok for EU.
These thumb throttles are so disappointing to me, I was looking at video reviews of the Ado A20 and Ado A20+ and they had proper pre-installed throttles, now they sell them with the same ones as on this video.
That's a no from me, I wanted the bike but not with that.
Just buy the "International version".
Норм машина,привет из России матушки!
In the uk this is illegal in the uk if u get caught you will be screwed. Points and fines. And your warranty will be void
Then just get the stock legal 250W and don't mod it.
They are not that bothered, my friends a police man, they never take action against throttle bikes, unless they are doing ridiculous speeds, even then, it’s just a warning, they want to promote cycling, and ignore so called illegal bikes.
Mate. Its illegal in EU you need insurance and papers on it. Its not legal. Useless.
It's a freaking bicycle dude
Seriously? Who will be competent enough to check?
Ahaha go at nome little boy
Is it permissible to use the 350W version in Germany if you insure the bike, put a number plate on it and have a sufficient driver's license?
@SSD-rm7fk you can't get insurance for an electric bike, that has not been type approved and hence illegal in the EU.
