Charming presentation as always and a very nice bike but without gears it is a no go except when living in flat Terrain. I online need a motor for steep inclines and strong Winds and there it is unfortunatly suboptimal.
How would you say this compares to the Tenways CGO800S? Spec for spec they seem nearly identical. Is there anything to consider when choosing one over the other?
amazing review . Thanks for covering almost every aspect of the bike. BIG QUESTION? what happens if it breaks ? where do we get it repaired since it is chinese?
When you test no assist could you also try with the motor off, I know with my electric bike, with no assist selected it’s heavy but ok, if the battery cuts out then it’s like the motor adds loads of resistance and it gets twice as hard to move it.
Definitely! That's one I missed so apologies 🙏 it's rideable without assist, but when you get to inclines with a stopstart combo you'll probably be out of your seat and pedalling
Why don't you ever review ebikes from the big established bike brands like Giant, Canyon, Cannondale, Cube etc? All of the ebikes I'm interested in from these brands literally no one does reviews for.
Personally, if they have to pick, I'd rather have them review these direct-to-consumer brands because there's often no way to test these bikes out before purchasing. But I do agree it would be nice if they could expand to more brands in general.
Like for cars, I presume reviews are an arrangement between a supplier and a retailer -- Giant, Canyon and Cannondale will incentivate their own retailers to publish reviews, but have little interest in facilitating channels linked to a business that does not sell their product. The next question could be "why does Electroheads not sell Giant etc" and the answer is in profit margins, training and support requirements, catchment areas ... it might be much better for Electroheads to sell less known brands with excellent products.
I really like the looks but I just can't get past how the battery is hooked up with that curled cable. It just looks like an afterthought. The Tenways cgo 600 Pro is still on the top of my shortlist.
Good honest review. I just hate the shape of the handlebars. I wouldn't say the bike is heavy, I would say it is rugged. I'll stick to my £60 mountain bike with Bafang BBSHD,, and continue to do battle with the terrible drivers around Sakon Nakhon City in North East Thailand.
I have a bunch of money i want to give you, but i really would prefer to test ride the two bikes i have in mind. Any idea when test rides will be back on again?
When i think of the beneficial side of ebikes I can only see those of the other side of the pond... 20 mph, throttle, 750w, 30+mile, no pedal assist. Average 15mph on throttle, 75 miles, still charge after 5 hours riding. @@JanMorsø
If your level of health or fitness is below average then that hill would probably be a dead stop for a lot of people on a manual geared bike. So many people with average and above fitness tend to arrogantly presume that anyone who can't do what they can is just lazy.
Excellent and honest review. That second hill looked like it was easily twice as steep as the first. A geared bike with more torque would make it up that in the lowest gear. Good to see that the battery is Samsung which should take away some of the fire and explosion fear that plagues cheap Chinese no-name batteries.
The YT algorithm is serving me Electroheads videos uninterruptedly for the past couple of weeks -- you guys made a lot of videos, and I still haven't encountered one that I didn't like, or one that didn't make me laugh in some ways (Brompton ...) On this bike, I can't help thinking that an internal geared hub (like an Enviolo as on the Tenways Ago T -- which costs twice this) would make it perfect, but would require the motor to be elsewhere than in the rear hub. I don't think the gears can be replaced by assist levels, no more than a more powerful engine doesn't replace the gearing on a car (EVs are an exception but not really, powerful EVs like Eilis' favourite Taycan have a 2-gear axle for faster starts and effortless cruising): on take off from standstill, you won't mind pedalling faster, but once you want to cover miles, you may want to move the legs slower: you can only do that with gears. The fixie is a different idea again, but it's very far away from this bike. Final consideration, that dashboard tablet is very cute, does it come off for security? And the apple tag in the bell ... the bell is metal ... I'm not surprised that the air tag didn't work, it must be a faraday cage... also, it's very easy to remove, I bet bike thieves look around in the bell and throw it away. Will you show us the locks you were using? Do I remember you offering a video on security? Great job, next time I'm in London I'll bring you fudge (I personally h4te the stuff ...)
Thank you!! Glad to hear you've been enjoying all our content ☺ To answer your questions the display doesn't come off and the airtag works perfectly in the metal bell, I was just sat in a location with no signal (in London of all places!!) I look forward to the fudge!
It doesn’t sound right to me from an engineering and safety point of view to place the battery in the seat tube. I mean, the battery is the seat tube!!
Why would this design be any more dangerous than other ebike battery implementations? If the battery is gonna blow, I doubt it will make a difference if it's directly under your butt or otherwise.
It's an urban commuter as long as you don't live in someplace like San Francisco. Nice bike but not for me either because of where I live with lots of hills.
Thanks for watching our video! For more info on the ADO Air 28, check out ADO's website right here 👉 shrsl.com/4mmw4
As a big guy (209#s) there’s nothing I like more than seeing big guys on a bike, I love it & even though it’s hard I want other guys to love it too ❤🎉

Good review,Ive been wondering about belt drives this confirmed not for me tackling hills.
Thats not a belt related issue.... it's a gear related issue
How would you say this compares to the Tenways CGO800S? Spec for spec they seem nearly identical. Is there anything to consider when choosing one over the other?
yes, i want to know too. And how which grade was on the hill 3 or 5? Becacuse i tryed t cgo800s on the hill and already on 1 was awesome.
Food related socks...could be a new trend there...Ha Ha!...And I like the Battery placement, cool..!
amazing review . Thanks for covering almost every aspect of the bike. BIG QUESTION? what happens if it breaks ? where do we get it repaired since it is chinese?
Can I just say Greenwich is beautiful !
It sure is!
It would be awesome to see if there is such E-Bike that can climb up the 2nd hill so effortlessly!!

What is the cruising range when running on Assist Max?
Morning team great video, can you do the same review/test on estarli e28.8 up that hill please 🙏
Thank you very much for your videos. The question is Ado Air28, Tenways CGO 800S or even the Lidl CRIVIT Urban E-Bike ...
Can you buy ther International Version for the UK?

I can only presume it's because they sell what they review...........?
Well, those are overpriced bikes.
Because the DTC brands pay all these channels loads of money to do these reviews.
I really like the looks but I just can't get past how the battery is hooked up with that curled cable. It just looks like an afterthought. The Tenways cgo 600 Pro is still on the top of my shortlist.
That's completely fair! It doesn't bother me at all but each to their own ☺
When will you review Tenways Ago X and T?
I'm interested in the AGO X, but does not seem to be (currently) sold on their website.
and the T is £2699. The T has an Enviolo geared hub, of which I've read great reviews!
Good honest review. I just hate the shape of the handlebars.
I wouldn't say the bike is heavy, I would say it is rugged.
I'll stick to my £60 mountain bike with Bafang BBSHD,, and continue to do battle with the terrible drivers around Sakon Nakhon City in North East Thailand.
what is the size of the saddle?
Sod the bikes i want Eilis's socks!!
Great taste 😉 GETTIT??
@@Electroheads Awesome love it.

is this bike fit for me when i am 1m 87?
A butter smooth mix of Electrohead bike content and Condiment Claire like food content :)
Hello, I am 1.92 meters tall, is this bike suitable for me? A great video! Greetings from Spain.
I have bad experiences with belt drives, they do not last very long, in fact I had one bike converted to chain.....
If the bikes had gears that hill would not have been a problem electric or otherwise.
e-Bikes don't hurt overall, and some benefit, greatly. It's how they roll.
When i think of the beneficial side of ebikes I can only see those of the other side of the pond...

Bro wheres the suspension....i want suspension
this is why i hate the 250 watt law, hills like that steep one are the norm where i live
100%
What was your overall conclusion about this bike?
Excellent and honest review. That second hill looked like it was easily twice as steep as the first. A geared bike with more torque would make it up that in the lowest gear. For the price of some of these bikes that are reviewed here, you can get a good Chinese motorbike that will climb any hills
The hub motors look so small.
@1:33 fucking had me ngl
Great video :)
Thank you!
For me gears are essential
I think its the same quality as a Tenways
So not much use in North Wales!
In Wales in general.

it looks like you CBA to reply to the questions in the comments so why would we bother to engage?
Smooth=Weak.

Nice bike but not for me either because of where I live with lots of hills.
You have no idea what you are talking about! 50 miles are 80 km in range. Not sure you know how to properly track range...
😮😱🤢🤮
I Don't want to ride that crape bike. I just bought a Tern Vektron S10, why would I want to ride your crap bike.
