I enjoyed what i was given, but it wasn't as good as it could have been. A little let down. I keep fantasizing what i would have done as the director to really show a compelling love story.

I just wished there were more Polin scenes.... they need more talking to each other. Explaining.... understanding.....
Not a fan of to many side plots either.
The wedding was so beautiful..... and Colin wants to sleep on the sofa... we will not see a wedding night then..... just Colin beeing a Drama Queen....
My opinion is that Penelope should not give up Whistledown. Colin have to deal with it. To much drama for me about that whole Whistledown thing.
But I am a bookreader and the problem with Penelope beeing Lady Whistledown was much better solved over there in general....

Season three of “Bridgerton” was my last. I’m done with the show. It’s really sad because I really like the books, have known them for a long time, and loved the first season. The second season was okay. What I didn’t like, though, was how Anthony and Kate were portrayed. In the book, they get married because of a bee incident, but in the show, it feels like they betrayed Kate’s sister Edwina. I really didn’t like that part of the second season because it made Anthony and Kate look bad.
The third season was disappointing. Penelope and Colin work as friends for me, but not as a couple. The other storylines didn’t impress me either. Charlotte’s storyline was annoying since it was just about finding out who Lady Whistledown is. I was hoping to see more of Queen Charlotte and her husband, especially because I loved the Queen Charlotte spin-off. But the story didn’t get deeper. There were so many plotlines, and it all felt over the top. What was up with the fake eyelashes and nails? 🙄 It was just too much. I ended up skipping a lot of the show because I wasn’t interested in what happened next. Sorry, but it was boring for me.
I totally understand all the disappointed fans and I won’t be watching the fourth season because of the planned changes.
