Luke Newton’s birth chart gives us another opportunity to learn how we may view Eros and Psyche in the storylines of Bridgerton season 3, within the story of Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington and LW. Luke’s chart has had a lot of themes in the characters he has played in his various roles since he began his career. His portrayal of Colin Bridgerton is bringing forward new parts of himself in his emotional nature. It is interesting that his castmates have noted in interviews that Luke is more like his Bridgerton character than any other castmate. I have Nicola’s next chart analysis video coming (still in editing), so we will jump ahead with this one and spotlight Luke's fascinating natal chart I offer insights on his planetary connections relative to his career and with Nicola's chart briefly, a longer video on synastry is in process.
In this video I cover the astrology of Luke Newton’s birth chart. We do not yet have an exact time of birth, however from the Buzzfeed exclusive interview Nicola noted Luke is a Leo rising. There is a potential he was born later in the day with a Leo moon, and Virgo rising, but that is a lesser potential. I have focused on Leo rising and how the planets are across his chart in a Whole Sign Houses chart, simply for ease of exploring the potentials as we may review at this time. If we are given an exact time of birth I will recreate his chart and re-do this analysis of his astrology.
This is fun to share with those interested in astrology and the actors of this successful series. I'll continue making videos as I think you can learn a little bit through something you enjoy like your favorite characters and the actors who play them. It is good to have their rising signs to create charts that are so very close to their real charts.

That moment when you said about luke’s actions skills resonated so much with me because i truly feel all those comments you said, he delivery such a great character full of emotion, unique and remarkable ! also, when you said about his psyche going to the underworld because of Afrodite, i only could think about that nic might be Afrodite delivering that task so he is going to get his transformation just like his natural scorpions energy claim to be. i’m brazilian and I can say Brazil is a virgo sun with pisces ascendent.
I am glad you enjoyed the astrology for Luke Newton, thanks for commenting. It is good to keep a separation between Aphrodite and real people. Nicola is not the direct Aphrodite of the myth with Psyche and Eros. We have to loosely hold the myth story to see how things are translated by symbolism. Nicola has her own Venus (which is truly connected to Luke's Venus by trine aspect), her Mars in Aries does activate his Venus in Aries for sure, especially the passion Mars she carries that attracts the two in connection with his Venus in Aries that desires to feel that feminine part of himself. Consider how she (through the character Penelope) speaks to what she loves about Colin (very similar to Luke) I think irl there is a similar theme of what she is actually attracted to is the authentic parts of how he really is. I found a chart for Rio de Janeiro, it has a Pisces Ascendant and Sun, Pisces Pluto and Mercury, with Uranus and North Node on the Midheaven in Sagittarius which maps into Luke's North Node and Nicola's Saturn and Uranus. I can see absolutely why everyone is saying there's a vibe from their travels in Brazil. Something unexpected happened for them in Rio and boundaries they had set at some other time were blurred. 😉

He was very fidgety when he was on Jimmy Fallon not too long ago and he made a comment how Nicola was in Barbie and how he could be her Ken.
I find it interesting how he as an Air sign is so grounded with her since she's an Earth sign. He has also mentioned that he desires to play a darker role as his career progresses. 👀
I would love to see him play that out in another role can definitely see him as a villain or something
@MadisonClarke-ol1vi he could pull it off easily. Nicola is favored to be a Bond girl so it'd be interesting if he got on that job too as an adversary
Yes, I saw the entire Jimmy Fallon clip. Too funny how he spoke on Nicola being in Barbie and he could be her Ken -- I laughed out loud when he did that. I suppose I have a soft spot for his realization moments like that, super sweet to see even if he was nervous. I knew he has done a few dark pieces, there was a short film on TH-cam where he is taking drugs and hanging with a female actress and in that short film she OD's, plus he is likely to OD, so there is a Scorpio dark storyline in that short film. The Lake Placid Legacy thing he did after The Lodge but before Bridgerton I think also the nightmare. So, it would be interesting to see if he takes any roles where it is like a psychological thriller, that would be interesting. Those dark roles he takes on can give him material by the script to "act out" in a theater something that needs to breathe from his psyche to let loose the actual nightmare he lived through in another life. It is a gentler way of working out that nightmare through acting -- it reminds the soul while processing and integrating the "acting" that his soul is also taking on a role as a human and plays a part in a bigger wholeness and he can wake up to the truth of the impermanence being human, being born, living a life birth and experiencing a death, but the continuing life that is born of the goddess/god however you wish to frame it and the deeper truth we gain from reviewing ourselves (through astrology and the mysteries) via reincarnation and remembering. It all has purpose.💜
@onesagesview i agree as well and since Scorpio is ruled by Pluto (also Mars) it makes sense for the dark innerG to reside there. Pluto is death and transformation and as a Scorpio Sun myself? I learn and grow through ego deaths and life events that are transformative. It's exhausting but like a Phoenix we always rise. The hard part is accepting and embracing the dark parts of the Psyche but everything is balance right? That's why in the yin and yang symbol there is a little bit of white in the dark and a little bit of dark in the white. One cannot exist without the other. I'm still learning how to integrate both but it's been an fascinating journey 🙏🏾✨️❤️
I think he was born between 3 PM and 5 PM. I heard that somewhere and an interview that he did before the press tour. I think he was born in the afternoon on 5 February. Thank you for explaining all this very interesting.
Possibly, I really hope one day he releases his actual birth time and Nicola as well. There's still a chance he was born later in the day and if he has a Virgo Rising (Ascendant) with a Leo moon we still get mirroring but the Virgo Ascendant puts even greater emphasis on Mercury and the challenges he will have to figure out with Mercury square Pluto/Psyche, that is still a potential.

A lot of people complained how Nicola wouldn't give Luke room to speak. But there are clips where he loses his train of thought mid-sentence. Or when they're talking about a certain scene and you can literally see him going back to the memory in his head. So his mercury is to blame for this? I know mercury represents our nerves, speech, communication.
I am not surprised to hear that they know each other from past lives. But it was nice to hear it. Before Bridgerton S3 i had never heard the story of Eros and Psyche before. I know the names, but not the backstory. It sounds interesting, I think I'll look it up. Looking forward to the next video❤
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts Alicia, it is quite enjoyable to create this playlist doing a deeper dive into the astrology of these co-stars. Indeed, Nicola is well spoken and picks up where Luke is not a speedy on the commentary. He does well often, but this is a real learning for him too. Nicola is kind so she helps graciously to keep on track. You can tell she cares about him and that is a cherished thing in their friendship. His fixed Aquarius Mercury takes time to process for sure, he has to go back in memory a little on the reflection then he can share that's why we see it like that in interviews. He has to do the loop process, it always feeds back through the other and the memory imprint, and that is why we also see because he trusts Nicola and has such deep friendship he takes on many similar answers in interviews. Nicola's Mercury is Capricorn, logical and faster to respond, can act on it quickly and keep it straight for the public image (Saturn in Sagittarius in her house of career).
I have one note to add, Pluto by transit to square Luke's natal Pluto in Scorpio is in 2039, so not 22 years but in approximately 15 years in the future. We'll see the natal square of Pluto by transit when he is around age 46-47.

In the videos about Nicola you mentioned the theme about the swans and that it also has a connection to Luke's chart. You didn't talk about it in this video, but I'm really interested in knowing what that connection is.
I was also wondering if there is a concept of periods in the astrology that you use? In Vedic astrology there are periods called dasha. I'm now in my jupiter period which is 16 years and in my 5th house. So, I am experiencing all things connected to this house and the houses that jupiter rules in my chart. Of course, we experience our chart as a whole, but some things we only live through when we are older. Just like some things will only come to fruition after our Saturn return. I hope I'm making sense😂. And thanks again for your videos and insights ❤
@@aliciablackman2981 Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy the videos and learning something more about astrology. If you are aware of Vedic (I've some familiarity but I don't have a depth there of knowledge, but Traditional Astrology Annual Profections sound very similar to dasha periods, I'd have to confirm with my astrologer friends I know that practice Vedic tradition or Jyotish. In traditional astrology there are other periods of exploration, but without the exact times I don't attempt them. That being the Zodiacal Releasing, the Firdaria, and the circumambulation through the bounds (a core of Traditional Astrology I learned with Demetra George). Without the exact birth time I also do not try to do anything with Lots that also is a precise technique. Time of birth is paramount for solid astrology insights. Evolutionary astrology is more planetary periods of self development, such as the Jupiter return, Saturn return, and the lunar nodes and their cycles both exact returns, oppositions and squares for karmic moments that bring forward moments that the soul is working with for evolution in both light and shadow. We also have progressions and solar arcs and solar returns for techniques, but from specific periods like dasha, I'd probably put the Annual Profections and Zodiacal Releasing and circumambulation through the bounds as most like what you describe. THEY COME ACROSS AS PAST LOVERS TO ME , OR TWIN FLAMES
I'm careful with using the term twin flames for any two people. I do think soulmates come in all shapes and sizes and have layers of meaning and purpose in our lives. As an evolutionary astrologer I think some soulmates have great purpose when we interact with them that are key figures in our lives that awaken us. I do believe we have soul contracts with people for certain experiences of our lives. I think we incarnate with certain souls again and again for our evolution and the 3D world experience with the powerful charge within our hearts and deeper memory of connection. Some people experience synchronicities when they meet these people in their lives or even powerful deja vu.

There is a potential, but there things that must evolve from where they are. There is still growth for them. Yes there is attraction, feelings and a unique friendship but for romance to bloom it will be another time in the future. Luke's astrology shows especially the space created, so it depends. In the video I do on his Progressed Venus it is very clear how the Total Solar Eclipse is quite significant for him.
