The only issue I have with ordering this thermometer is you may get another variation of it, it says in the listing Springfield brand but I received Taylor brand one of the times I ordered it, basically the same thing but not the same dark font

I like how this guy is a little bit clumsy. An expert outdoors, but un-expert enough that I can relate to the experience and more enjoy the outing. Far better than any 90 minute documentary on Netflix.

After a hurricane we ate MRE's for weeks! We'd be so hungry that we'd eat everything in the packet. It was all good. We found out the hard way that the gum contained a laxative so we tossed it away. lol You have the best time! I love all your videos.

Love these kind of vids man. I recently solo camped by a stream in a mini tent as well. Was fun. Heard either a coyote, fox, or raccoon howl about 50 yards outside of my tent in the dead of night. Think it might of heard me snoring or something. As well as this really annoying night bird (dont know its name) that kept flying on top of my tent and flying off every 30 mins of the whole entire night. Woke me up a couple times and all I could hear was its wings flapping coming up to the tent and it giving out a few quiet chirps.

Omg i love mres. For whatever reason, putting peanut butter and jelly on the bread slice is just amazing. I love that dense chewy texture. The desserts are always amazing, maybe except the chocolate pudding with beef stock, or those teeth breaking first strike bars. And the entres are delicious.

Hey man, gotta love the videos really interested in those 50, 60’s can openings etc. All though I am from New Zealand so I don’t know what half of those cans look like now days as our international food isle in stores only have a short selection of American products, but one thing I do like is our liquor stores have Budweiser not sure if it would taste the same as in America as it’s
imported from Australia but I’m sure its the same recipe. Keep it up love the content 👍😁

I'm in the Southern San Joaquin valley of California and we had snow flurries 15 mins from me at the edge of the foothills west of the Tehachapi. Its been about 25 years since we had a few inches of snow on the valley floor. Loads of snow in the mountains surrounding us. Some minor flooding. The drought may have had a big dent at least put into it

I think that the thing about the heating pads going slightly bad before they can be purchased by the public might true. The 2 times I have had MREs, they were purchased from a U.S. Navy commissary. They were brand new, and the heating pads would burn you bad if you left your hand on them. I do also think that the older ones are sold to the public too.

Hey Dude, to fix the ember burns on your tent. Try putting some Shoe Goo on it. It's cheap and takes like a half hour to dry (a day or so to fully cure). It's pretty useful stuff to have for general repairs.
That is a slight benefit to being used to living in very cold areas. Once it gets above 30 it starts to feel pretty nice out. That's like shorts weather after a cold winter.
