I just bought a 2020 2SS Friday. I have to tell you about the safety of these vehicles. I had a 2018 RS 8k miles on it. Hit and run drunk driver. All I can say is that I’m alive. Amazingly.

I just bought a new 2020 Camaro 2SS Shock and Steel on Friday. I’m loving it!
I got a 1SS 2020 all black, black wheels, with the performance exhaust. I went 1SS because most of the upgrades you can buy afterwards like the interior lights, cool air intake, ILE suspension, brakes etc. Some fun for later with a cheaper upfront cost.
I custom ordered a 2020 Camaro 2ss. It came to the dealership a week ago and the next day the dealership closed due to the Corona virus. I can't get the car until after the dealership reopens:( so now I'm just going out of my mind waiting for the day I can pick up my baby.
Man sorry to hear that...I was also gonna order my Camaro but the one they had at the dealership had everything i wanted so i took it home that same day...no regrets!

John Gomez oh nice. I’m in the market for a 2020 ss but the one with everything I want is in Houston which is 2 hrs away. Houston’s in pretty bad shape rn with all this corona stuff so idk if it’s a good idea

I own a 2019 1LT w/RS Package. Love it!! At 335 HP the V6 is no slouch either. I do miss that crackle and pop of the SS though.

sandvich48 Kind of depends on how you want to drive it. Both are good every day drivers but the V6 has better fuel economy and you can use any octane gas. The V8 requires premium. There is also the new LT1 model which gives you the V8 but without all of the SS options and/or the cost. Cheapest V8 in the segment.

I'm buying a 2021-22 2ss convertible this winter, I cannot wait!
Have a '19 1SS in same color with the A10. A1SS comes with everything you need. I think the 2SS is a major ripoff for the $5K upcharge. If you can get a 1SS for $5K off MSRP or so (I only paid $33k), you're getting the best bang for the buck in history. Driving around in this car, it almost feels like a supercar. It's a complete animal but still comfortable. Absolutely love it.

The rear video feed on the mirror helps a lot driving at night with 5% window tints.
I have the nearly identical 2020 2SS you reviewed, It's Rallye Green Metallic with 6-speed manual Tremec. 900 total miles, garaged in north central Texas, no damage. Purchased in my mid-''70s, and as much as I love and respect it, I don't get to enjoy it. All dealer servicing. Now that GM has stopped building, it's become a classic. Built entirely in USA. It's for sale but I won't accept low-ball offers. Asking $55K net.
I have that same color 2020 2SS but with a moon roof, gray interior and red calipers. In the sun the paint has a teal tone to it..just perfect! Nice video!

Package! Leather seats and i ordered slotted and drilled rotors front and back got the rear spoiler the SS spoiler ! And the led tinted tail lights ! Haven’t driven it yet cause it’s still winter here in Winnpeg Canada 🇨🇦 so it’s still at my dealership where I purchased it from . They gave me free winter storage !

This car would hugely benefit from the lane change cameras that the new Hyundais and Kias are starting to come with where the digital gauges are substituted with a camera image down the side of the car when the turn signal is on. Or they could just install windows :-). Good review.

I bought a 2019 2ss last December...I love it!!! It seems the only difference between them is the front end design? I have all the other features. And I do love the flow tie!
If I was to go out tomorrow and buy a brand new SS it would be a 19. The internet made it sound and look bad...truth is it looks great. Enjoy.

@@redcapote4760 I drove my camaro more then 2 hrs and the seat to be honest for me very comfortable like u r sitting on pillow if I compared with the mustang I own GT with real sports seats .. even more comfortable then my camaro 2015 .. I LOVE IT .. AND I GIVE 5 STARS EVEN MORE FOR IT AS DRIVER .
Just bought a 2SS and I love it. Yes it has the power. I have a dark green model which I don’t see much of.
I am happy for you .I ordered my 2022 2ss camaro last month and i am still waiting maybe in October hopefully. I order the front splitter and hash tags for the from fenders. The color is river side blue with gray interior.
And an automatic transmission and Paden shift. It coming out of perrysburg toledo ohio,i jast can't wait . My wife said this is my last car,I'm 67 yrs old.

My 2022 2SS CAMARO CAME TO ME 2 WEEKS AGO AND I LOVE MY CAMARO RIVERSIDE BLUE WITH LIGHT GRAY INTERIOR AND PEARL WHITE HASH TAGS WITH A FROM SPLITTER AND THE BRIGHT SILVER 20INCH ALUMINUM RIMS AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WITH PADAL SHIFT .I AM STILL LEARNING ABOUT THE CAR AND IT HAS ALOT OF POWER. THE PAIN JOB IS LIKE GLASS.

I have the 2010 camaro 2SS and I love it , i wish they would make the steering wheel look more like my model on the newer ones, they’re just lacking in aggressiveness
This looks amazing but I would get this with the red interior and add the satin black 1le spoiler and front splitter to it. I’d also get the hood wrapped in satin black and get the brakes painted red.

Went with the 2017 2ss. Felt like it looks more aggressive stock. And saved hella money. But the 2020 is still a beautiful car

Can someone tell me the different with the 3LT and the 2ss. I am torn between the two and can’t really find the difference.
I would never buy one of these, mainly bc I'm not a sports car owner type person, but if I won one or one was given to me, I would be ecstatic. The features are top notch, I love the way the Camaros accelerate (2nd gear is a doozy the 1st few times tho), & it's just bad ass all around. But if you have a heavy foot they really eat up some premium gas
Chevrolet, please put the '18 front end back. Better yet, please put the Zl1 front on the SS.

Air Vents at such low position very strange ..dont know how is convenient at summer ..for rear seats passengers.
At this cost I expect HUD ,digital speedometer and of crz active rear spoiler..
Abhishek Sirohi rear seat passengers don’t exist in this car lol. But the vents are very effective for the driver and passenger.

For those of you who own a 2020 or newer 2SS, how is the seat comfort after an hour of driving? Are you glad you went 2SS over 1SS?
I absolute love the cooled seats. I bought mine 3 months ago and when i drive it feels amazing even on the longer rides.

I own a 2020 white w/the gloss black rims! No tint kept clean stock! It’s fast enough (K&N filter) only! 2SS but has only 2 pipes! It’s a sports car, sexy, fun,fast, nimble, quick, unique, reliable, & best bang for your buck! SS SEXY SPORTS CAR! Not a MUSCLE car! 🥂🚗💨😂🙇🏽♂️

I really want this car but tbh $47k is steep, would the 1LT V6 still be a solid pick up?
An option you may be interested in is a Camaro LT1. It is a bit more stripped down than the 2SS featured here but, it still has all the drive train (engine, transmission choices and suspension) of the SS models. I believe it starts around 35k MSRP. I’m sure a good dealer will will accept a reasonable lower offer on one. Good luck on your choices.

It’s not as much of a nightmare as the ford fox box. Its ordinary though and so common. I wish they would rerelease the 93-02 bodies with modern performance. I think a lot of people are attracted merely because it’s new but that’s where it ends. If you look at older bmw or mercedes vehicles from years ago almost no one would want them let alone pay the price people did for them at that time.
