Captain Erio Not always! The cinnamon in this video is Rainforest Alliance certified, through Cassia Coop. A fair amount of cinnamon is unfortunately grown illegally within the boundaries of the Kerinci Seblat National Park. Why it's so important to be able to trace and track products from farm to plate, like Cassia Coop does.
After all that human labor to produce it, all the effort and energy to ship it half a world away to us, you're going to end the video with just swizzling some coffee with it? If this video taught me anything, it's to respect and value a stick of cinnamon way more than I have done in the past.
TheBookDoctor It's not that the video simply ends with coffee stirring, but the realization by viewers like you that all that effort and labor for a cup of coffee is the point of the video, which I think was successful, and now we appreciate it more. I think the video did a good job of leaving that appreciation part as your choice, rather than adding some clip that shouts "appreciate it!!" What would you have done differently if you were in charge of producing this video?
TheBookDoctor Most people from my home country, have a tree in their backyard and scrape it when they need some.. It's only a little lower than Puerto Rico..so I doubt all of it is from half a world away..
His smile made this video what it is. I love that he’s enjoying his work.
Loved this quick video as much as I love cinnamon. Thanks for uploading!
The BEST thing I learned from this video: they harvest it in a sustainable way

Cinnamon powder is just sawdust.
Cassia is really poisonous, so everyone would be better not eating this.
I think cinnamon has the right to be a little bit more expensive than what it is right now 🥲
