    Outstanding video....Just finished the job...couldn't have done it without your help. Only comment....repair was a little misleading....when you pulled your axle...none or very little oil. I was figuring a few drops...figuring it was a thicker grease like fluid. Nope...I was underneath doing the passenger side first (I did both axles) and had to be under the vehicle since that axle is longer...anyway I got a BATH in transaxle oil....laughs. The gearbox was cold...but it is 90W oil. That's okay though...you did warn us...laughs. Still a great video.

    Do you need to drain the transmission gear oil before removing the whole shaft?

      That is the right way to do it.
      Since I replace the trans oil when I did the clutch, I raise each side very high to avoid the oil coming out when you remove the axle from the trans part.

      @@G2GBuilds I just saw this comment after I wrote mine....I should've read through all the comments and replies before I started the job...lesson learned! Laughs. Now I know why a lot of oil did not come out during your video.
