There are things in the Quran which we found the meaning of, due to science. So the Quran and science actually work together. For example in the Quran there is a verse about fingerprints which no one understood for 1,200 years. Up until, due to science, we found out each persons fingerprints are different. "The areas of strongest development were Syria, Asia Minor, Egypt, and North Africa, with some other notable centres such as Rome, and Lyons in the south of France." It was mainly Eastern Orthodox with some Catholics and Muslims mixed in along with other smaller religions the further East you went. I don't think you read my previous comment. As I said before Mathematics existed in India before Islam. And Muslims did use Indian Mathematics but they also added more to it. For example they took Indian numerals and added the decimal point which was not in use at that time. The same with Algebra. It existed before, but Muslims advanced it to a higher level which we still use today. Algebra comes from the Arabic word Al-Jabr which means restoration. I hope you understood this time.

Imagine a world without religion.. Just for a minute. It would be nice! No one yelling at each other, screaming words of doomsday and repentance. A world where we are all equal.
Nowadays in the west and europe, christianity is decreasing and Atheism is increasing. Meanwhile, Islam will expand just like Christianity did in the colonial era. Hinduism will just remain in the indian subcontinent. Buddhism will probably outlast all religion in the world.
Depends on how you define agnosticism. There are agnostics of the kind you describe ("don't know this way or that way") but there are also agnostics of the "things like that can never be known"-brand, which is just as doctrinaire as any atheist (or believer).

It was mainly Eastern Orthodox with some Catholics and Muslims mixed in along with other smaller religions the further East you went. It caused a lot of religious unrest issues when it all became the Soviet Union and the reason the USSR was against religion and promoted athiesm was to get rid of the religious unrest and unify the county.
Man I'm not Gay but I understand something that a lot of Christians don't. It doesn't matter if you are man, woman, black, white, brown, or purple, if you love someone and you make each other happy then that is the true good in the world. Why is something that doesn't produce offspring any different than a man and a woman? It is still love. And aren't we all here to fulfill our ambitions? Is true happiness not why we remain living?

Definitely. The religion played a big role in most countries history, even America.
I don't think you read my previous comment. As I said before Mathematics existed in India before Islam. And Muslims did use Indian Mathematics but they also added more to it. For example they took Indian numerals and added the decimal point which was not in use at that time.
The same with Algebra. It existed before, but Muslims advanced it to a higher level which we still use today. Algebra comes from the Arabic word Al-Jabr which means restoration.
