I just got out of a horribly overstimulating day at work, and I just thought to myself “I need a Laura Caldwell video to get my mind off things” and then a new video appeared!!! Thank you, you just made my day!!!❤
I didn’t have the greatest day either. But, when I noticed the NEW video, I took a shower, cuddled up to my I-Pad and my stressed out day faded away ❤ thank you Laura and Jesse! You guys are the bestest!!!! ( and I watched it twice)
That basket is gorgeous! I happen to know that weaving is really hard, because my youngest son learned to weave from some Pomo elders. The time we spent with them, in Yosemite and other Northern California locations, was deeply meaningful to all of us. My husband and I were just along for the ride-we don’t weave-but we always loved our time with these ladies. The baskets were a big part of everyday life for the Indian tribes, and for a time became something they could sell.
Idio is a fantastic place to go wind sailing through caves! and after you can stop at the vintage coat farm, ride the killdeer and grill out on the roof tops where you can watch the ice melt off the mountains, I would LOVE to go to Idio again with you this time, I know some good sushi bars but we have to brave the desert waterfalls which you will love cause thats where you find the best antiques and tree climbing with the horses🤣🤣🤣
I’m sad that this episode is over. Hey do you have any pictures from your 2024 Tiki party? I’d love to see how you staged it with all of your cool tiki stuff.
I'm from Vancouver, WA born and raised. As a military spouse I traveled all over the world. Orvietto is a special place. Atop a beautiful mountain is a black and white stripe church, inlayed with gold. In many parts you can see where people have stolen the gold ironically. Some of the most beautiful pottery I've ever purchased is from there. I met the most amazing people in this city, American and foreign who fell in love with Italy and purchased there. Your ganna love it. 😃
My father dragged us all around Europe from cemetery to cemetery doing genealogy research. We went to Liechtenstein and Luxembourg finding relatives. 😊
I think those vintage folding chairs may have originally come with Airstream trailers. Not sure but it may be worth a little research. Love everything you do, Laura and Jesse! ❤
I love the little wooden bird. And I m with Jesse. Yes to vintage folding chairs I love my scarf collection. Now thats,a beauty you found. I love Irish wool Thank you for sharing x
I love your page your store everything. I’m getting to the point where when I see you in a store I look at something and I know you’re gonna pick it up . I love to do what you do .
The crystal piece where you asked if it was to hold sunglasses and he said maybe small toilet paper rolls it's actually a display for your crystal wands and below in the circle is a charger whether for another crystal or favorite piece of energy jewelry. It's new age Magik.
too funny you too! btw my Daddy 9he is deceased now:( ) but when he was in the navy and they went to Italy and they went to an Italian restaurant - my simple Dad ordered a spaghetti only plate and a bottle of ketcup! Yup the chef came out to see and cried so I think I need to go on the trip to Italy with you two lol
Glass, yes! That Jack-in-the-pulpit is gorgeous. I collect vintage and art glass, and I have a similar vase that has a slightly different base and is a darker green, more like a kelly green. It's one of my favorite pieces. Thanks as always for the great vid!
Thanks for letting us know of the new Goodwill.I went to the Goodwill in Warrenton Oregon today and found 4 miniature pieces of pottery.Three of them are Jemez pottery and the other on is made in Mexico.
I can't believe it. I have the same wooden pedestal bowl. The dealer from whom I purchased it (years ago) said it was for thread/sewing. Not sure if she was correct but it's fun to see another one out there :)
Another great video. I have that teak plate with glass dome, received it as a wedding gift in 1982. Mine has same tag and feet as the one you just purchased so gives you an idea of its age. And yes, still married!
I was at both the 162nd and Washougal GWs last Friday as well… it’s funny to see some of the same stuff in your videos that I saw! I’ve been to Washougal twice now and gotten pretty good hauls both times.
What!!you didn't know about Orvieto pottery, huh. especially since you have traveled here so much but they are some really wonderful pieces. Enjoy discovering more about it.
Before they started selling steam machines and other incense, Partylite actually ordered all of their better quality pieces from known sources. Costa Boda actually made a lot of their pieces in recognizable styles.
I found the potato thing without the leaf, while clearing out an old sideboard. It was with a set of 4 quite small fruit shaped lidded vessels that looked like very small sugar bowls. I was thinking butter in the potato and varied jams in the 4 fruit?
This video seems a lost opportunity...I wish youtube had a feature where there could be a sidebar menu of some of your hats and I could drag one over to place on you! would be fun Even without that, I couldn't love your videos... and your ideos.... more !
So much cute finds. I wonder if there are other people that caver the east coast like you ? If so could you maybe tell me who. Love to watch you all thief, love seeing what's out there. Would love to go with you guys over sea's on your trips but can never afford it. So watching you all is so much fun. Love your picks
My house is just five minutes away from Idiyo. If you go past the main entrance to the State Fair and continue down the hill, and cut right through to the parking garage, you’ve gone to far.
I just got out of a horribly overstimulating day at work, and I just thought to myself “I need a Laura Caldwell video to get my mind off things” and then a new video appeared!!! Thank you, you just made my day!!!❤
I know what you mean. I think of a new Laura video as my dessert!
You manifested Laura! I hope your evening is better than your day. 😊
I didn’t have the greatest day either. But, when I noticed the NEW video, I took a shower, cuddled up to my I-Pad and my stressed out day faded away ❤ thank you Laura and Jesse! You guys are the bestest!!!! ( and I watched it twice)

The green doll is missing the pull string between the legs to move the legs and feet up and down! Those toys are very cute!

Girl. You travel more than I did and I lived in Germany from 72 to 96.😊
It’s my greatest passion 🥰
I have been to idio many times and find the quickest way out is to get cozy and go to sleep. No good restaurants or sites to see.❤
Y’all are a hoot! Love the Anthropologie vase 👍 Glad you include the bloopers😂
I LOVE that native basket!!! It is stunning, and in such great condition! I’m so excited for you guys!
Love that you don’t search for holiday themed products.
Yep, because if you don't sell them for said holiday you have to hold onto them for a whole year.
I always fast forward thru Holiday items.

Orvieto! I got so sick on my way, driving in a bus on the those winding roads! But it is beautiful!
Itdio is iconic 🎉 Florence is my favorite. The Uffiz gallery home of Botticelli s primavera and birth of Venus is divine.
Hey Laura I love that you are giving the location you visit for all of us to see - thanks!
If the horse pottery lid could stand on its own, I would have bought it. It looks like a piece of sculpture. 😊❤🐴
2:11 love the color of the Jack in the Pulpit 13:17 cool find on the pottery
The opening day the clapping went on for 15 minutes as we all walked in.
Glass, yes! That Jack-in-the-pulpit is gorgeous. I collect vintage and art glass, and I have a similar vase that has a slightly different base and is a darker green, more like a kelly green. It's one of my favorite pieces. Thanks as always for the great vid!

You guys are too funny together ! Love your videos!!!
I’ve only been to a couple of European countries but I’ve always wanted to go to Itio. 😅

My kid loves Lichtenstein, too. He has all sorts of facts. The anthro vase should be called the piano vase.

Chance of me finding a Jack in the Pulpit vase at Goodwill: negative zero.
That was so cute at the end!
So nice such a Great life enjoy every moment love your Channel.❤
Laura, your eyes are sooo blue!
Kylie Flavell, Australian/Italian vlogger just filmed lunch in a trattoria in Orvieto, really good story and food. 😊❤
That’s to funny as I was just going to comment on this as I linked into Kylie’s video right after Laura’s (this one) - Definitely a small world! 👍
Italy + video= Ideo
So Germany+ video= Giddeo
Makes sense
😆
Looking forward to the November 2nd and 3rd event. Howard is looking for lighters. Nautical theme would be nice🎉❤
Laura, just saw that Kylie Flavells video today is filmed in Orvieto.
When do we get to see Little Italy?
What were the Goodwills with all the tile out front before they were GW? I see them a lot in your and Andy's videos?
The basket!
