- Come Hang out and Pour 3 latte art patterns with me in this POV Latte art video. This is more casual than my last upload and I hope even here you can find something useful or just have a safe place to relax.
I strapped a camera to my chest to get a different angle and I left most of the process in so you can see how I get from A - B.

I’m learning a lot just by watching. This POV style footage is helping me internalize stuff that you and Lance have been preaching for ages
Same here. I'm a very "monkey-see monkey-do" type of learner. I can hear someone describe it over and over and still be not understanding well, but if I just watch it happen like this even just once I'm good to go.
The only thing missing for me is the melodious sound of Emily’s voice 😇
This is why I love your videos Emilee, you're always experimenting with new perspectives, new techniques not just in your coffee but in your videography and storytelling. You're probably the only coffee creator whose videos I watch 100% of the time!
This is great because you can either just chill and vibe with it or study it carefully to learn
I definitely found something useful. Handled that Starbucks pitcher like a boss. Beautiful art. Thanks for wearing the camera. Nice audio mix too.
Thank you for advising the wpm #9 22oz pitcher. Love it ❤
Wow, loved this one. I learned so much! Thank you
I think you still have room on your bar for another espresso machine and grinder! Lol! I'm loving these pour videos! I welcome these any day off the week! ❤️
I could watch this for hours lol and as others said, feel like I’m learning more than watching some instructor yap for 30 minutes
More of these please!! So much easier to troubleshoot my own milk steaming when seeing people do it (not just in a "here's how it works" kind of tutorial way)
You are amazing Emilee!
Amazing! What an interesting Clip with so many details…. I follow you for a long time now, surprised to see that you don’t use/own fancy distribution tools, tampers or puckscreens besides that you already have done videos about them.
Surprised that u have a fancy and expensive EG-1 on your deck and still decide to use the La Marzocco Pico.
Wonderful placed music where you tap the jug to the beat ❤😊
I said that many times before and say it over and over again, you are such a wonderful person!
Thanks for the love!
I certainly have very many weird coffee gear, toys and distribution devices but for this style video and just practicing, I tend to not use it and keep it lax.
The other bar is a crazy weird science stuff
@@EmileeBryant So when you do decide to min max your results, what do you use/do differently? It would be very interesting to see that style of video too.

Who's here!?
Emily has made me a self-taught positive skilled barista recommend the learning milkflow vids... Proper tutor work right here !!
LOVE THAT U SHOW THE OBSESSION FOR COFFEE MACHINES 😂
Good stuff. I usually go to Coffee Project in the fidi... I'm a bar tender but coffee is by far my favorite beverage
Grats on 100k!
MORE OF THIS, please! ❤❤❤☕
Yes! Another Emilee video to wake up to!
Simply amazing 🔥🔥
This is such an awesome video! What is that contraption for the steam wand? I need one of those lol. Much easier to clean it that way
likin the wood, door with draws, cup draw, (oh the choice's), and of course the pours...
So great!!!!
What is the doo hickey on your steam wand called? Thats like the most revolutionary piece of kit Ive seen in the last 15 years and I don’t even know how to search for it on google.
I tried searching it and the first result I got was a site called artpresso design, there they have it listed as Espresso Machine Steam Wand Cleaning Tool
Artpresso Steam Wand Cleaning Tool
Therapeutic! I now love pouring latte art
Really cool, why did you pour the steamed milk into a different container then pour?
Wow, somebody that knows what POV actually means! :)
Thank you Emilee.
🔥🔥🔥
Cool stuff! What's the meaning behind steaming and pouring from different pitchers tho? Does it do something with milk texture?
I like the look of Latte art but like my pour overs with just a dash of milk. So its not something I'd ever do for myself but it's great to see an artist at work!
Slow leaf one of my favorite shape. Looks eeasy, but...😅
Omg,the pitchers i am using are small😮Thank you,Emilee❤
☕
Cool perspective, thank you for that!
How do you know, when you have pulled enough air into the milk and can go over to the swirling phase?
What milk pitcher do you recommend?
além de bonitos e perfeitos, tenho certeza que estão deliciosos.
também gosto de vídeos assim 🤍
If you don’t mind, what do you like and not like about the oracle jet. Please and thank you. Oh and did you ever get around to picking and doing a training with a random person that you talked about a while ago? Thanks
What is the milk pitcher you used at the end? Is it a WPM pitcher? What size is it?
Also, what sizes of milk pitchers do you recommend overall?
I catch grief for having 4 pitchers. Saving this vid to prove how it’s really only the tip of the iceberg.
Name and size of those red cups??? they look amazingly beautiful
I've never wanted a Starbucks pitcher so bad 😂.
When you ripple it looks so damn easy. I'm still confused with the wrist control. After a few ripples my wrist just feels like" its closing up or cramping" and the ripples get very inconsistent. Is there a trick for that? Or am I trying too much? I'm desperate 😭
Maybe you read this and have a tipp for me :)
Anyways a very nice video to adore!
@@MugLifeCoffee I use my middle finger pushing on the other side to ripple!
Some use wrists and that works too!
Pushing at the correct tempo is tricky and if you’re seeing it fall apart, your tempo is shifting and not timed with the ripples inner wave.
Ideally the tempo is consistent. If it’s not, the waves collapse. Imagine inconsistently pushing someone one a swing, it wouldn’t really work unless you push them at the exact moment they swing all the way back.
@@MugLifeCoffee it’s also very similar to learning how to juggle because when you learn how to juggle you will continuously add one more throw each time you’re practicing.
So you might be able to throw three balls in the air one at a time but now you need to add four and then five and then six and then seven .
Ripping is kind of like adding an extra throw while you’re learning how to juggle . One at a time
@EmileeBryant Oh, wow! Thank you so so sooo much!!! I think this was the best advice somebody ever gave me 😍 I was always confused if you need to control the milk in the pitcher or just the spout while pouring. Now I have a very nice answer to that, haha😊 I'll focus more on milk movement practicing.
And maybe I'll also try to introduce another finger for better control during the ripples.
Thank you so much for your time and reply 😊
something i will never be 😔
also i tried to do rippling and it only makes uneven blob it doesn't glide on top of the crema towards the back of the cup and warp around like in ur vids. HELP💜
(also im left handed so if i work in a cafe, do i have to learn to pour with right hand? cuz yk the majority of the people are right handed)
I’m left handed and I pour with my left hand :)
Hey Emilee, can I ask what that little steam wand cleaner that you're using is? It looks great.
@@downtimepodcast yeah! It’s from Artpresso
@@EmileeBryant thank you! Love your work.
When i foam my milk like that the bottom 1/2 is just plain milk still...?
Did you sell the La marzocco machine?
I would really like to have that device. I wonder why you couldn't get along with it.
Of course, I haven't tested that device to give an opinion!
What are you using to clean your wand?
omg who u do it so fkin smooth
my guess is hundreds of thousands of attempts? :D
Wanna share a link to that steam wand cloth?
It’s the Artpresso Steam Wand Cleaning Tool. It’s $30 USD
What’s the steam wand rubber situation? It looks convenient
Artpresso Steam Wand Cleaning Tool.
Thanks for 25 subscribers completed
Me 30 subscribers
Is extraction (rdt, Wdt, even distribution etc) not important for latte art? They are judge based on looks not taste?
How do you NOT hold the jug by the handle while steaming? I have chefs hands but cant hold my pitcher.
Is having good crema on your espresso necessary to make good latte art?
@@Jelly_Kingg helpful but not necessary
I wonder what’s the name of the art on 6.25????
Where can i get the device to clean the lancet?
+1!!

@ thanks
can anyone tell me where to buy those latte cups?
Hey how do I stop being hesitant when pouring the canvas part I think I ruin it sometimes by a poor canvas can you help in this ?
Also I get some bubbles in the canvas which seems to get in the way when pouring the art ?? Have you ever had this problem ??
@emileebryant what size pitcher do you use for steaming milk? Thanks!
Hello, how much grams you put in please?
18 grams?
*Uses POV correctly* You know what that means, guys.
Now left handed please
Right? And blindfolded.
@emileebryant what cup size do you use?
@@georgesalem9702 almost always a 6-7oz and sometimes a 5.5oz
@EmileeBryant thanks so mucb
Thank heavens for surface tension.
show off 🙂
