This is very good I thought I wanted to get into this but I don't think so I'll leave it up to the good people that can do this hope to work with you soon Jean
you actually don't even need to use the cutting mat, just load the vinyl directly into the machine and select "No Mat". Then you only have to cut out what you actually used... and it's quicker
I’ve done it like that once. I’d have to explore that option more before i give anyone instruction on it. Are your cut settings the same when you cut without the mat? You also need to use more vinyl don’t you? The machine needs the extra to hold onto!? Correct?
You can literally take the roll of vinyl and feed it directly into the machine and just let the rest of the roll kind of hang off the edge of the table. Under 'Page Setup" select "None" for cutting mat and the default settings for Matte Vinyl (speed 5, force 10, 1 pass) will cut it perfectly.... also, have you figured out how to cut something bigger than your mat yet? If you are doing car decals, you'll want to know how to do that! After your decal cut job is done, just unload the vinyl from the machine and scissor cut the part you need off your vinyl. If you are left with like a square or something, save that and use the mat for maybe cutting a small decal out. Just turn on the grid marks on your page setup so you can be sure your design will fall within the piece of vinyl on your cutting mat.
Same exact process. I had text inside my backseats window when i used to drive Uber. If you want the people in the back seat to read it the do the same exact way but mount it to the inside. If you want people on the outside to read the mounted decal then mirror the image/text before you cut it
Your welcome but would a bigger with area and me standing change the information or would you just like if I had a bigger work area and was standing? I’m just trying to understand your logic. I’m a little lost help me understand please.
In my observation it looks to me that you are rather tall and the space you work in is a smaller area and you have trouble maneuvering the vinyl roll to flatten it out when you had to cut away would it have been easier to lay the vinyl had you been standing up and not fighting the. Table and vinyl.

Tip for u use small drop of washing up liquid to water in spray bottle and spray on once applied along line then wet finger with liquid spray then wipe off in on go
Now the fight with the big mat ? Been there, done that and now using a wall or closet door for line the vinyl up on the big mat, and yes, i all so start in side the lining up. So i tape the mat from up in the wall / door and never again have that fight when lining the vinyl. Try it for once.
When I am trying to apply rolled vinyl to a mat and I go with the shortest side of mat....you were fighting it pretty bad on the length side with the whole piece of vinyl rolled out...I roll it or re-roll it if you have to so that the right side is ready to place on mat...I hold the rolled section with my 4 fingers and use my right thumb to start on right corner short side of mat.....and then go to left side and use thumb to place the left vinyl corner down....middle will automatically level out...them just roll the rest of vinyl out onto the mat....without having to deal with the rest of vinyl getting stuck to mat

Stella White Yes in the App Store there is a Silhouette app. Hmm🤔 that would be a great video. Thank you for the idea. But, to answer your question yes it can.
A-Dubb Productions Allan Wade my question was rather than connecting to a laptop or desktop computer, can you connect through Bluetooth on the cellphone? I know you can with the Cricut I was wondering if you can connect through Bluetooth with Cameo.
Stella White I have to be honest. I haven’t checked yet but I am pretty positive that you can because in the Silhouette app on my cellphone there is an option to send to cutter and it says no device connected just like the computer would say when the Bluetooth isn’t connected. Also there is no way to connect a usb cable to a phone. I’ll make a video and show you what I’ve found.

Hey Eloy, have you checked underneath the Silhouette, there is a compartment with a screw , this is we’re there the tiny USB Bluetooth sits. Just to help you out bro if you plan on doing this for awhile with the cameo instead of a plotter with a stand and rollers you should invest into a a roll feeder for the cameo it costs 23 dollars and it saves you from having to waste so much time and effort messing around with those useless cutting mats.

This is where I am now as well! I’m on IG, FB, Tik Tok, Pinterest, and Etsy. Next up are google and Yelp if I can figure those out. Started wearing shirts I’ve designed to be my own walking billboard. We have to keep creating, doing our best to promote and prayerful that the clients will come
I can’t get my Bluetooth to connect what’s the secret bro. Great video. 👍🏼
Hey Eloy, have you checked underneath the Silhouette, there is a compartment with a screw , this is we’re there the tiny USB Bluetooth sits. My Silhouette says compatible but I don’t have the Bluetooth connector. We can purchase one but it has to be a certain model code, this information is online . I hope this helps you.
Can this model cut up to 11x17 images
sworley1956 yes. the cameo 3 and 4 can cut up to 12x24 inch designs and images.
Did you use like the heat transfer paper
Cressida Thomas Hey Cressida thanks for watching I appreciate it. Don’t forget to subscribe. To answer your question no, you do not use heat transfer vinyl to make these cat decals. You have to get Oracle 651 and transfer paper. I have the stuff you need listed in the description below the video i believe if not I’ll put it there. Please use my amazon link to purchase those items or anything else you wanna buy off of amazon. Also don’t hesitate ask me anything else about this process. I can make a video for you again with more detailed steps if necessary. Thanks again for watching and don’t forget to hit that subscribe button. Talk to you later and good luck.
So if you want it inside on your window, you have to flip it?
Yes. Mirror it. I think. Lol. Never tried that. I still have mine on. Been threw the car wash a bunch of times. Never came off.
How do u design it on the computer I can’t find the website
Jeffy It was design on silhouette Studio Designer edition. The regular silhouette Studio can do this design also. I believe the website is www.silhouetteamerica.com
A-Dubb Productions Allan Wade is it free
I think Silhouette studio basic is free.
What app u used to make that
Question: Is this material god for jet skies?
How do you price your car decals? Thanks
In most cases I charge based on the size of the decal and also charge a one time set up fee for reproducing the graphic.
Are CAr decals still a thing? Wondering if I should pursue this
It’s always better to have a skill than not. Things always come back.
@@adubbproductions Thinking about making BLack LIves Matter Decals. I am looking at the Epson printer you have. Which model is it and how many tees can you get out of one set of inks. Coldesi has DFX i550 that has sublimation toners at $1300 yielding 2500-3500 prints. Expensive!! Looking for a more economical QUALITY option.
where did you get your mat from
I have the drawing skills but not the technical skills . Drives me nuts
Thank. You -
Nora Shuda your welcome. Don’t forget to subscribe.
I want to add a phone number to my business truck. Do I mirror the number like I would words?
When you are using the method I show in this video do not mirror anything.
Can I use photoshop for my designes?
Jumper OG illustrator. Photoshop doesn't make images in vector and that's what you need for a vinyl cutter as far as I'm aware, illustrator will create images in vector

You need a 4" x 25" quilt ruler.
Every time I send something to cut it never cuts and always show the registration error and I did it exactly how you did 😫
is that the free software for cameo 3?
Hey. Thanks for watching. Don’t forget to subscribe. It’s an upgraded version of the free software.
I need help with my pricing structure, I'm open to anyone helping me.
Just to help you out bro if you plan on doing this for awhile with the cameo instead of a plotter with a stand and rollers you should invest into a a roll feeder for the cameo it costs 23 dollars and it saves you from having to waste so much time and effort messing around with those useless cutting mats.
Boom, here is my comment, boom.
P.S.
Boom
Boom. I love it. Boom.
Boom!
Tysm.
ok, I'm new to this... I thought Oracal 631 would be used not 651 🤦🏾♀️
You can use either. 631 has a matte finish 651 has a glossy finish but you can use either.
Adrien Peterson?
Kyle A lol. I get that all the time.
No lie, I thought this was Adrian Peterson at first.
If I had a nickel for everytime he says BOOM
👀

Hey Vicky. No worries. I think he just commented in the wrong place. Not worries. Honest easy mistake to make.
