Ime in uk just started with a cameo 1i won on eBay for £50 3years ago just whent to a local b&m stor and got some cheap counter top vinyl covering ive done to simple decals and absolutely jumping with joy at the result ive mainly got the cameo for making air brush stencils and metal echoing stencils bostin tutorials mate respect 👍🏻

If you hit the vinyl with a heat gun briefly it'll help it to loosen up the curl before you work with it. (That's what I've heard - I haven't had to try it yet myself.)

It's been on for months and a bunch of car washes. I don't think it's coming off anytime soon unless I flat razorblade it off. It's on there on there. Trust me.
What kind of transfer tape would you recommend for mass production of stickers? i have light/medium clear transfer tape now. but the vinyl wont stick to the tape after a while. so i have to use the squeegee a lot before using the sticker. and i am going to sell these stickers, and people buying does not always now that they have to squeegee before laying the sticker on the car or what ever they are using it on. i use white oracle 651 and sometimes black. :)

You most likely don’t have it seated all the way in a clicked in. The lip should be out when pushing the blade down. Once the blade is all the way down push the lip/tab back in towards the blade to lock it in place. Boom. Just like that.
Hey brotha, I just bought my Cameo Plus & my pointer moves in steps instead of an easy flow motion if that makes any sense, do you have any guidance on how to change it to a smooth flow pointer when moving items in the design section?
Do you mean the cutter? I’m not sure why your cutter is moving like that. That has never happened to me before. I’m pretty sure something is not set up right though. I’m not sure. I've never use a cricut but It seems like it would be the same. make the are in silhouette studio just like you make the art on the cricut platform send it to cut on the silhouette just like you send it to cut on the cricut. I don't see how that is confusing. I don't like that way the cricut eco system is set up because it seems like you can only design things one their website but what if internet is not available? Then your screwed. That a dealbreaker for me. Thats how they keep you tied to thier system. I can design anywhere anytime no internet needed. priceless.

I don’t recall how I was holding it but i think I used it like that because that’s the method that works for me. You can use it right side up if you’d like. You can even not use a squeegee and use a card or whatever else you have. It doesn’t matter what you use or how you hold it. All that matters is that the decal goes one right.
Yes. I’ve been threw the car wash 50 eleven time and it’s still on perfectly. This is the longest lasting type of thing you can do with your cameo. Decals.

@@adubbproductions come on man. You are a teacher (if you haven’t realize it) and I get what Austin was trying to say. Oracle 651 vinyl is permanent and used for outdoors, glass, mugs, etc. Regular vinyl (to me) is Oracle 631 which is not permanent and used for walls. And most of us know HTV vinyl is heat transfer for t shirts. Not everyone knows the difference and can get confused. Trust me, when I first started this craft yearssss ago, I watched people who didn’t explain the differences and wasted a lot of money cutting the wrong type of Oracle Vinyl. Please accept this feedback given from the heart. I’m not a smart mouth......well I can be lol. You get me?

If you put the decal on your Silhouette mat, it holds it flat for you while you apply the transfer tape :)

You don't need registration marks on when cutting vinyl. Turn that feature off.

Is there a difference between a cameo 4+ or cameo 4pro?
The cameo 4 plus cuts 15 inches and the cameo 4 pro cuts 24 inches.

I’m the menu on the upper right turn off registration marks. I think it’s under page set up.
