I overall really like the set. Not a cat ear fan but I consider it an extra so no biggie. The value is fair I think. Would I like it a little cheaper sure but it is fair. I would contact Mega. My set didn't have any major flaws like yours. Hopefully it isn't wide spread.
Two things, First: the chestplate thing is a huge win as we now have both male and female variants of the MK 7 Chestplate. Second, the hand issues/arm issues can be easily fixed. The fused hand can be freed by softening the arm, and I've been experimenting with the hands that get stress marks. My Trailblazer had the same issue and I *may* have fixed it but it's still a WIP. (Stress marks don't automatically mean the hands will break too) Yes, these issues shouldn't have to be fixed, but they do happen and while pointing it out can help for future releases, it won't fix the issues for this set. As for the price, it's really not a premium price. The math of it lines up pretty much spot on for what comes in the set.
Personally my stance on the customization still stands. These chest plates will never be released again, mixing and matching is a core part of Halo Mega and while it’s great to have these variants, making that mixing harder was the wrong move. This is what i was talking about in the video. While i appreciate the idea of “fixing” the hands, that should never be something that a consumer should have to do with a product day 1. My purpose for pointing out flaws like this is to accurately portray the realities of this set. Whether it was any brand, I would have done the exact same thing. The price most definitely is premium. Upon release the halo infinite warthog was easily found purchased for around $25 USD. It included 4 minifigures. The halo infinite gungoose can be currently found for $20 USD, also 4 figures. That’s $45. There’s a $20 dollar markup. This math also checks out with the parts count for this set which is 467.
@@MrWoodyShorts there's even more than just the halo heroes, there's also been a couple gungnir halo heroes, anyway, I didn't want to be be rude I just wanted to let you know there's other options
I think youre my new favorite halo reviewer. Youre critical of these sets despite your love for them. Something i feel like is lacking with reviews sometimes
Super cool video idea (Wouldn’t be profitable ad revenue wise but would be absolutely epic) Make a halo ring as large as possible using the forerunner ring installation set. All the videos I’ve seen use 4-5 but I’d love to see one with let’s say 20 used. All the extra foliage pieces could go to a sweet blood gulch style moc
@@MrWoodyShorts I'm in the UK and pre-ordered at the backend of last year, so haven't had mine yet! There's been some issues with international shipping for this set, but when it comes I'll let you know!
But, what mini figures do you like best? Mega: good articulation New sculpts Cheaper price Over all more customisation But It's not lego People think it's a Lego knock off (truthfully Lego isn't much more original but the redesigned Lego bricks are so much better than the og one) Or LEGO Pretty valuable figures I mean they have charm ABS plastic that is cinda a problem But You can't really play with them They have less articulation and are expensive
Only reason I bought this set was for the forerunner weapons, wish there were more to it. I only like the militatistic sets, but that's just my opinion. Hope everyone else enjoys the set.
@@MrWoodyShorts i still voted for neon, but when you compare previkous fan vote sets like the sabre or the floodgate, its not really anything to be hype about imo. i want them to do a fan vote of display sets like the Forward unto dawn or a mini pillar of autumn, ccs battle cruiser or even a mini Cairo station that can maybe somewhat fit a parked dawn
ikr, but you actually care for them... I don't. In my opinion, they were the worst thing to ever happen to Halo. I really don't like them.. On a figure, though, they don't look bad, actually...

I sure hope it isn't widespread but great yours didn't have any flaws! I'll have to get in touch with customer service
i honestly want a new scarab, silent shadow, banished wraith or for the first time a covenant or banished carrier
A new Locust or scarab set! Or modernized ODST HAWK, I still have My OG HAWK from way back when I was like 12
@@shagbabyyeah I REALLY want a silent shadow fire team set or some covenant/banished ship model like the infinity or forward unto dawn
I would absolutely love a Covenant carrier. Really anything covenant related we desperately need right now.

I hope next time we get a fan vote it's not just vehicle colors but more like the vote that gave us floodgate
I hope so as well. It doesn't seem like one is planned for this year but maybe??
Very cyberpunk and synthwave vibes ! 🎉❤😊
6:31 there's a ton of gungnir Spartans from halo mega already,
Yes you are right I forgot about the halo heroes one, whoops!

I would like to see mega create an Alpha 9 Phantom and/or a Pillar of Autumn
That would be something to see for sure. I hope one day we get a midi scale Autumn

Hey thank you for watching!
btw mega did another gungir for unfinite, the kovan figure from series 15 of halo heroes, it's the first one, and it's masked...

That's a fun video idea! I will have to see the logistics of that one and where I can get a bunch of those for a good price. I'll look into it!
As far as I'm aware, everything that I voted for won except the Sentinel Beam! So I had to get this lol

I love the cat ears because they make half of all halo fans pissed off
hahah this is true
Contact mega for replacements, the set is limited but I’m sure they’ll try and help you out.
I hope so...
Cqb?
Trailblazer, Halo infinite version of CQB basically
@@MrWoodyShortsdid they state that orr am I missing something cause that looks like recon bro
It’s so weird hearing minifigure used on something different than Lego but it’s still cool
But, what mini figures do you like best?
Mega:
good articulation
New sculpts
Cheaper price
Over all more customisation
But
It's not lego

Pretty valuable figures
I mean they have charm
ABS plastic that is cinda a problem
But
You can't really play with them
They have less articulation and are expensive
I'm gonna be *that guy* and say Mega's figures are actually Micro Action Figures and not Minifigure XD Which is why it sounds odd
To me, I started with LEGO and then tried MEGA so they all kinda just because minifigures to me!
Only reason I bought this set was for the forerunner weapons, wish there were more to it. I only like the militatistic sets, but that's just my opinion. Hope everyone else enjoys the set.
The weapons are good I appreciate those
I like the set
It aint too bad!
Ngl the same joke about Durr microtransactions was annoying lmfao good review otherwise
hahaha had to throw it in there
Pretty sure it was just colours we chose, and this one was pretty mid imo. Detail is amazing tho
I still wish action block won...
