halo mega has always had a very special place in my heart so when im presented an opportunity to collect the entirety of noble team & a falcon im elated! One small problem which i shouldhave seen sooner given this is a set which originally had a limited release. But I genuinely cannot believe that after mega announced the falcon sweep to be re releasing, and the first thing this communitv does as soon as its up for preorder is scalp 145 of them to resell on ebav for 3x the retail price?!!??!?!? Complete lunacy however it is what it is! I am sure that a lot of people are probably as equally annoyed by this as i am but i dont want to come out guns blazing at mega however, i have no idea how they could promise a thoroughly stocked set and have it sell out in less than 24 hours. For me that was the most disappointing halo mega set release this year but lets hope they can pull their distribution connections in check especially over here in Australia considering there are only TWO stores that stock the halo mega line (not including other mega lines which does give me some hope) not to mention the fact that only five sets are or were available for purchase ie, recon getaway, razorback blitz, hornet recon, ghosts of requiem and the mongoose outriders (which sold out instantly of course. Anyway sorry for the rant but i love your vids as they help me stay informed of all things halo mega while they fix distribution
It’s weird I can’t actually remember ever specifically stopping buying halo mega stuff when I was younger I think it was just the distribution problems because I never seen anything anywhere apart from online now. They used to be on every store in the uk back in the halo wars days
@@DemarcationMedia yeah it was great always had sets on shelf’s so could pick them up anytime but honestly I don’t think I have seen one set on shelf’s in the last 5 years
10:35 The 20 anniversary set wasnt an amazon exclusive it happened the same thing with the floodgate, here in Mexico found the floodgate and the 20 aniversario pack in toy shops like juguetron, juguetibici and juliocepeda and in other stores like liverpool, sears and el palacio de hierro, online and phisically
It was an Amazon exclusive. Mega confirmed it. However, with these collectibles, exclusive isn't as definitive as it sounds, which is confusing as all get out

Interesting, I've visited juguetron and juguetibici every now and then and the only Mega products I've seen are from He-Man :( But it's fine, 'cause I managed to get Floodgate and the 20th anniv with discount from amazon :)
Yeah, those drop pods. I bought one set, but my mickeys visor was missed. I got 1 falcon sweep, from entertainment earth. Wanted 1 or 2 more, missed the restock by a literal second, had everything ready at checkout, then it said it was sold out. Thankful i got 1 tho atleast.
I had my 2 falcons pre-ordered from Entertainment Earth for months and it just kept getting pushed back and in the end I never got one and still don't have one because I couldn't justify $125 for the set which I already had ordered for $75 and as of recent I've seen it at $275-$320 on Amazon and it's insane. Fuck this.
The purple spartan in number 7 has a speed boost. I had a halo 5 set with a purple spartan that looked similar but same color and it had a speed boost power up in the req pack.
It really sucks the skiff didn’t make it into infinite. I’m really surprised it hasn’t been Addie at this point. It’s basically just a brute prowler which would be so fun
I actually found the skiff as a crashed vehicle in the game in at least two spots so it is technically canon possibly it was a cut vehicle that they used as a wreck and still had the set made.
I'm just happy I was able to get a falcon. I'm annoyed that I couldn't get the drop pods at all. I was looking forward to getting them but I never knew about how they were discontinued.
The issue of series 16 is a bit strange, because near where I live, for almost 3 months there were figures from that series in the store, only Kovan sold out quickly, but until recently there were still Ik'Novus and Weapons But very good video, I really like your content comrade!!
Out of everything on the list I’m only missing a real red Yoroi,Dutch and rookie and all of blind bag series 5. Also I’m excited to hopefully participate in this milestone I recently got a new place to put my mega stuff and have a huge area just need time to put it together!
Distribution was a pain as of late. I had to cough up $400 to get 2 falcon sweeps because I make my own mocs and there were a ton of useful pieces in it. Also I want a ton of Kovan's for MOCs and have been apprehensive about it because of the whole knock off issue
@@DemarcationMedia it was not. Scalpers are the worst part of this hobby. I’m surprised the flood gate set wasn’t scalped that badly since they seem to be going for their normal sale price
I understand your point about that overspending because these are just pieces of plastic and there are other things you can spend your money on. But in reality these are just toys. Though matter what the prize you can always spend your money on something else that is more important. You even said that mega made more of the anniversary pack that stopped the scalpers and ended up letting everyone. I've been saying that all along when it comes to the Falcon Sweep. But they're not announcing they are making no matter how much you hope they will. That's why people pay the high price because they don't know if they'll ever see these sets at a lower price. So to plead with people not to spend the money that scalpers want is pointless. Bottom line is that Mega and or Mattel are working with scalpers. Not hand in hand but with what they do it works for scalper's purposes. Thank you more product is what shut sea opers down. It worked for the anniversary pack. And as long as they don't do it everything they do plays in the hands of those who are buying a brand new product raising the prices immediately.
It really comes down to Mattel and how they mishandle things. From what I've heard, they do the same with many of their other brands. Lazy distribution and lack of care for the fans. I feel Mega is held back severely by Mattel.
And yeah Halo Heroes Series 16 is literally what would have released next when every store around me just dropped all of the Halo Mega sets and figures Every Walgreens CVS, Target, etc all dropped everything Halo Mega all at once for the first time in over ten years I haven’t seen a Halo Mega set in a store since
I haven't bought a new Mega set in almost 10 years (Flame warthog), with my last blind bag in 2016. Used to find them in most supermarkets in Scotland. I haven't seen anything since, which is a real shame
Wow I didn’t know the story of the alpha 9 pods was really hoping I’d see them eventually and thought it was a distribution thing that sucks they were discontinued entirely damn
At this point mega should just sell on Amazon now I have a feeling Mattel is going to sell the mega license within a couple of years from now due to the lack of stuff hitting shelf’s and no stores want to carry it anymore due to halo decline
@@DemarcationMedia absolutely! As someone who recently got back into mega after a few years, it's heartbreaking to see that a variety of sets I would really like to have will simply never be available to me because of Mega's bizarre distribution system, and the fact that it feels like only scalpers get these sets
wow, i had no idea that there was drama behind Haunted’s release (or lack thereof). i’ve been passively following Mega Construx Halo (back when they were still called Mega Bloks and were still doing Halo Wars sets) and never really participated in the community. i always wondered why Haunted never came out, it’s my favorite Spartan armor and i was really looking forward to it. what a shame…
Yeah, it's a very unfortunate thing. Who knows, maybe there's just stock piled up in a warehouse somewhere. There is the other variant, the Pilot one from the blind bags
Personally I don’t think the banished phantom isn’t a disappointment, I’m honestly glad we got another phantom after so long. There’s some vehicles I’d love to see as Sets - Blisterback - Banished Wraith - Banished Scarab - Grizzly Tank - Lich
I’m extremely disappointed with the release of the odst drop pods because it was something I was excited for and never got to see it on store shelves and it discontinuetion was more devastating 😢
I was trying to get the Spartan Yoroi figure awhile ago and it was sold out so a few months later I remembered it and I figured why not check idk Amazon or EBay so that’s what I did. I don’t remember the original price or yoroi when it was in store shelves but the one that I found on Amazon is/was 40 whole USD. From the way it looks it seems like it has more “unique” molds and a Katana but still.
Man the falcon sweep I was able to grab it on its last release but sadly my Carter was shipped with double back armor and no front. Since it wasn’t a continuing product release they were unable to send me a replacement front.
I’ve been disappointed in Mattel for about a year now, ever since they haven’t restocked targets and everything has became impossibly hard to find, I live in the central us and many others I know personally can’t find anything mega anymore because of how bad the distribution became. I’ve essentially given up on mega until my job starts back up and I can actually order things online.
The noble team falcon sweep set is so expensive these days. A minimum of $200 from scalpers when it retailed for $70. I hope they eventually re-release the set because Mega Construx is missing out on printing money
When it comes to the set itself I’d say the hijacked banished ghost due to how bare bones it is but if we are talking about distribution, I’d say the UNSC Marine gear pack
The Hijacked Ghost had pretty solid figures, though it was a little barebones. Just not enough to get on the list. The Gear Pack was weird, it was readily available for awhile via Best Buy except you would get a random pick, meaning you had a 50/50 chance of ending up with the Spartan pack instead
I am so glade I have a mijers near me only story in my area that still has mega and they get many sets saw only 1 falcon tho and it disappeared but we still have haunted spartan on shelves because not many mega collectors in my area
Most definally for me it will be both of the series heroes line on this vid. For the simple fact of the “distribution” and not counting one of them we got the “fakes” line 😵💫
My main complaint (besides distribution) is the lack of "purely bad guys" sets. There so many sets featuring only UNSC, but there are almost non featuring only Banished/Covenant or Flood figures, making army building for any of these three factions frustratingly hard, with terrible distribution making it pretty much impossible :( Edit: Way too many Spartans!! If they have to put a good guy into every set at least make most of those instances Marines/ODSTs to at least give the bad guys a chance! There are probably more Spartans out there than Marines/ODSTs and Banished combined....
The distribution for mega in recent years has been awful, I'm beyond lucky enough to have every set on this list. The falcon I almost missed by a minute and I was lucky enough to find 2 full sets of the pods, so I have one opened and one sealed, along with the case (not a full case just the box) I found at frank and sons. I really hope they fix these issues
Man, I hope 2024 is a good year for Mega's distribution. The Mega section at my local Target has been relegated to a single cubic Foot of just Pokemon sets
@@DemarcationMedia It's so frustrating because there's so many new sets that look so good yet I never see them! God I wish they'd give us another year of remakes of old sets tbh like they did with Halo Wars, I'd love some remakes of the old Halo 4 sets like Orbital Banshee Blitz, or Containment Outpost Patrol but with the new Cyclops design
Ive checked walmart, target, and kroger and none of them carry any mega halo, only ever pokemon (which I do not care about) Any idea why these major distributors no longer carry Halo?
It sucks man, I managed to get the falcon and I now have a job to be able to afford things, compared to when I was a kid to spend money on sets but barely anything to be found online or in stores like alpha 9 or blind bags and the heroes line
i remember i try to ask you if the ODST drop pods or the hero's 18 weren't in store and it hurt when i heard they were gone and like the falcon i missed . ( I think Mattel should use Mattel creation to sell extra stock like the drop pods or have a batch orders to be ready to be made in huge demand and have poles to make people vote for set that should restock in Mattel creation .)
I really hope mega drops Amazon and brick and mortar stores. Make a one month preorder window twice a year direct to consumer. Once they are profitable again we can consider stores again. All my stores are just packed with Pokémon always :(
@@DemarcationMedia really? I suppose direct to consumer could pose issues but I haven’t been able to find anything in the wild for 4 years sadly. My region must be cursed 😭
@@DemarcationMediaoh I get it! Yea I would not advocate for limited preorders! As many that want it should be able to order and do it in a one month window twice a year perhaps for 2 years (so four chances to preorder) for the lifecycle of each set. I wish they still had a full aisle at target and walmart. Those were the days 😢
I would love to see full aisles in stores again, but it definitely seems like online is the way things are going. Scheduled drops for multiple times per year might help if they chose to do that. Mythic Legions does something similar actually and it works out well for them
At this point i have yet to find Halo Heroes 16 and 17. I'll probably never get my hands on them lol and im also disappointed at the lack of sets for 2024. I hope theyre really cooking something up this year.
The main problem of MEGA is distribution and deciding to stop production on their other ips like Call of Duty making the small but loyal fan base of MEGA COD dissapointed, me included, just because it doesnt sell as well as HALO. And trust me asking MEGA to make more army building sets is not going to help because that encourages people from mass buying sets leaving no room for other collectors and even resulting to theft. I have heard people doing it on reddit like ripping a blind bag open or troop pack just to get the figure which maybe one reason why Target and Walmart are not to fond of buying stocks from MEGA. I mean I get it its cool to have a 1000 flood marines or several yorois but its not fun when people abuse it buying all the stock in one store and even scalping the hell out of it.
I really want the phantom figs but I don't want the phantom. The problem is for what I would pay for just the figs, I might as well get the damn phantom.
Who’s selling the falcon for 900?? I just bought mine from eBay for a lil under 200 bucks most on eBay are priced around 200-230$ if anyone really wants one
I'm really disappointed that we haven't seen the old drop pod builds in forever. mega really hit it on the nail when they did the first drop pod sets. wonder why they changed it.
@@DemarcationMedia really? I’ve had the arctic odst since I was seven, and it’s probably one of the most durable sets I’ve owned. Never fallen apart once on me

I'm surprised I haven't seen more people talk about how the rtas figure has the wrong torso armor and boots despite the fact that they have the moulds to do him correctly
I’m a little confused about the phantom set’s placing in this video. I personally own the set as well and I can understand the lack of a few details being a bummer but my set has remained rock solid on my end for awhile now. I’ve never had any issues with it wanting to fall apart on me. Maybe it’s a quality control issue??

@@DemarcationMedia not horrible but not great either, it’s $126 compared to the original retail price of $75, plus a 3 month shipment, would have atleast expected a bit faster shipping considering I sent an item to my friend in Australia in just over a week lol

As someone who has been buying and building halo sets since it first came out ive kinda been disappointed with the recent sets mostly that theyre remakes of things that have already been made and i really hope that sets like the forward unto dawn and infinity, havent really bought sets for a couple years now
I’d agree that a lot of these are disappointing not because of their quality and build, but just the aspects surrounding their releases. I genuinely feel like I have seen less than 5 different releases of halo mega construx in my local stores in the past few years. It’s sad to see the distribution go to shit. I really hope a new Halo game can revive them.
the most dissapointing ones were the UNSC boat and the Banished prisoner transports, because both of them never made it into the game. Sordid reminders of what could have been.
If I am gonna be honest, I feel like judging a set as disappointing by their distribution or something else not related to the actual set itself isn't a fair way to look at it. I think the term disappointing set should only go to stuff that sounded hype af thanks to leaks or teasers but what we actually got sucked or there was wasted potential in it. The Banished Phantom I definitely see as a disappointing set as I think a lot of us were hoping for a big solid build to rival the Pelican with lots of minifigures but instead, its no bigger than the og Phantom, it has only 4 minifigures. Some not even being that great of choices and the Anniversary Pack was also super disappointing because they implied it was gonna be a a whole line of set instead of one rancid one.
The ONLY time I've ever seen S17 in person was when I didn't have a dollar to my name so I didn't get them. Thankfully I've done a lot better since and I've even gotten a pair of the falcon sweep but still don't have S17.

It sucks but if we avoid buying the overpriced listings, people will realize they can't try to sell it for that much
It’s weird I can’t actually remember ever specifically stopping buying halo mega stuff when I was younger I think it was just the distribution problems because I never seen anything anywhere apart from online now. They used to be on every store in the uk back in the halo wars days
Yeah, I heard the UK used to even get stuff early
@@DemarcationMedia yeah it was great always had sets on shelf’s so could pick them up anytime but honestly I don’t think I have seen one set on shelf’s in the last 5 years

Hey, you gotta swoosh those vehicles! That's what they're made for!
However, with these collectibles, exclusive isn't as definitive as it sounds, which is confusing as all get out
Interesting, I've visited juguetron and juguetibici every now and then and the only Mega products I've seen are from He-Man :(
But it's fine, 'cause I managed to get Floodgate and the 20th anniv with discount from amazon :)
i am still incredibly frustrated that the Alpha Nine figures got discontinued
Same here :(
The skiff or properly: "War-skiff" is actually featured in the halo encyclopedia in the banished section
So maybe we'll see it in game at some point
@@DemarcationMedia I hope so. Looking at the pictures of it. It looks like it's turret is a Scrap Canon.
I can't decide between the all random spartan blind bag series and those silly little multiplayer helmet sets.
Whaaatttt, the helmets were awesome!!
This video is how I learned that there were Alpha-Nine Drop Pods and my last chance at Mickey and Dutch. Thanks, MEGA/Mattel.
Well Mickey can be gotten from the 20th Anniversary pack but yeah Dutch is tougher
Thought of getting odst alpha 9 squad but boy they are pricey now
Yeah it's really sad
Fuck this.
Oof, visor misprints suck. And yeah those restocks were a 'move fast or miss out' sort of thing
Am I the only one thinking that those brutes from the first set looked like they just came strolling out of Mordor?
You aren't the only one XD
The purple spartan in number 7 has a speed boost. I had a halo 5 set with a purple spartan that looked similar but same color and it had a speed boost power up in the req pack.
I would agree, except in Halo Infinite, there aren't speed boosts like they had in H5

That is a lucky find!
I won't lie, after like 2021, I stopped seeing Mega stuff in stores. I don't know where they all went
Most retail spaces dropped ALL Halo, not just Mega
I can't understand how it's possible that Mega products always end up in the hands of scalpers...
It's not just Mega. More than one collector fanbase is having issues. Even Lego has trouble sometimes
Can anyone confirm this? I know I have a screenshot of it but I can't upload it to these comments. But maybe that could redeem the skiff set a little
It is in game. I mentioned it. Don't remember where on the map it is
Having a Skiff full of brutes just zoom up over a hill and unload on you would be terrifying and awesome
I'm just happy I was able to get a falcon. I'm annoyed that I couldn't get the drop pods at all. I was looking forward to getting them but I never knew about how they were discontinued.
I'm hoping to be able to try and push Mega to restart production for the pods but we'll see if that actually will do anything
It’ll be cool if Mega had made Gears of War sets after when they’re finished with Halo, I wish they make Gears of War sets
I would want both lines at once
@@DemarcationMedia I gotta agree with you on this one
The issue of series 16 is a bit strange, because near where I live, for almost 3 months there were figures from that series in the store, only Kovan sold out quickly, but until recently there were still Ik'Novus and Weapons
But very good video, I really like your content comrade!!
You mean series 17? Series 16 is the one with the Haunted
@DemarcationMedia Of course, series 17, sorry, my mistake xd, but that happened after all
Out of everything on the list I’m only missing a real red Yoroi,Dutch and rookie and all of blind bag series 5.
Also I’m excited to hopefully participate in this milestone I recently got a new place to put my mega stuff and have a huge area just need time to put it together!
That's not too bad honestly.
Nice!! Time to get pop'n'swapping then!
That Fred is from Halo Legends, i can tell bc of the knives on his shoulder pads
He actually isn't. The Legends Fred is a darker blue with a lot more print. You can see the differences here: th-cam.com/video/DDAySnFReNA/w-d-xo.html
this was a great video! I honestly think they should make more halo universe sets I would love too we a new prowler of sorts
I sure hope they continue to lean into the Halo Universe line
Distribution was a pain as of late. I had to cough up $400 to get 2 falcon sweeps because I make my own mocs and there were a ton of useful pieces in it. Also I want a ton of Kovan's for MOCs and have been apprehensive about it because of the whole knock off issue
$400??? That's...not great
@@DemarcationMedia it was not. Scalpers are the worst part of this hobby. I’m surprised the flood gate set wasn’t scalped that badly since they seem to be going for their normal sale price
@@Vladimir_4757 The Floodgate has had a TON of stock
@@DemarcationMedia wish falcon sweep did RIP
I loved Halo Universe Series 1 AT THE TIME
Because the Halo 2 Brute is cool and the Zvezda is just a neat transparent figure
And yeah Halo Heroes Series 16 is literally what would have released next when every store around me just dropped all of the Halo Mega sets and figures
Every Walgreens CVS, Target, etc all dropped everything Halo Mega all at once for the first time in over ten years
I haven’t seen a Halo Mega set in a store since
The brute is awesome, best figure from the lineup. And yeah, my area dropped all Halo as well, not just Mega but all Halo. Jazwares vanished too
I remember when they were supposed to come out. Alpha 9 I was in Hawaii and remember seen the tags and been excited. But short live happiness
Yeah, it's a very sad thing
I haven't bought a new Mega set in almost 10 years (Flame warthog), with my last blind bag in 2016. Used to find them in most supermarkets in Scotland. I haven't seen anything since, which is a real shame
Yeah, it is. It seems that a lot of Halo merch is moving to online
Yes #10, I did customize with extra parts, to be amazing!
Wow I didn’t know the story of the alpha 9 pods was really hoping I’d see them eventually and thought it was a distribution thing that sucks they were discontinued entirely damn
:( Yeah it's really disappointing
At this point mega should just sell on Amazon now I have a feeling Mattel is going to sell the mega license within a couple of years from now due to the lack of stuff hitting shelf’s and no stores want to carry it anymore due to halo decline
Hmm maybe but Amazon has a huge issue with scalpers and buy bots
I find it amusing that a lot of the "disappointing" sets are actually really good, but poorly distributed
Just shows how good Mega's sets are!
@@DemarcationMedia absolutely! As someone who recently got back into mega after a few years, it's heartbreaking to see that a variety of sets I would really like to have will simply never be available to me because of Mega's bizarre distribution system, and the fact that it feels like only scalpers get these sets
@@headcrabking9054 It really comes down to Mattel and their handling of things
wow, i had no idea that there was drama behind Haunted’s release (or lack thereof). i’ve been passively following Mega Construx Halo (back when they were still called Mega Bloks and were still doing Halo Wars sets) and never really participated in the community. i always wondered why Haunted never came out, it’s my favorite Spartan armor and i was really looking forward to it. what a shame…
There’s some vehicles I’d love to see as Sets
- Blisterback
- Banished Wraith
- Banished Scarab
- Grizzly Tank
- Lich
I mean fair, I just can't move mine without it falling apart XD
@@DemarcationMedia be really careful with that thing, one the pieces of mine broke. I thankfully repaired it. Handle it carefully with 2 hands

See, the studs aren't such a bad thing if there were more details overall
I’m extremely disappointed with the release of the odst drop pods because it was something I was excited for and never got to see it on store shelves and it discontinuetion was more devastating 😢
Release is a kind word. The they really didn't get released, which is the really sad part
Man I saw the notification 33 seconds after upload
That's pretty fast
I always thought the blue Spartan looked caboose (7)
Maybe a bit
I somehow actually managed to get all of the odst drop pods for retail, I just saw them at Fred Meyer one time i went there
Wait what?? Fred Meyer had them??
I remember it being Fred Meyer, it could have been Walmart though, I cant remember exactly where
That's insane
Do you have custom painting done on any of the figures in this video? I see a lot of details that don't exist on mine, like the gravity hammer at 9th.
Nope, that hammer is from the Halo Heroes Decimus figure
I was trying to get the Spartan Yoroi figure awhile ago and it was sold out so a few months later I remembered it and I figured why not check idk Amazon or EBay so that’s what I did. I don’t remember the original price or yoroi when it was in store shelves but the one that I found on Amazon is/was 40 whole USD. From the way it looks it seems like it has more “unique” molds and a Katana but still.
Plus half of those 40 dollar ones are fakes. You can get the silver one pretty easy though
Walmart really sucks, because they don’t sell any mega construx halo anywhere that I’ve looked. I pretty much gave up on buying them in stores.
Yeah there really isn't anywhere to buy them in stores. Stores don't want Halo
Man the falcon sweep I was able to grab it on its last release but sadly my Carter was shipped with double back armor and no front. Since it wasn’t a continuing product release they were unable to send me a replacement front.
ahh darn. I would suggest using the 20th pack Carter's chestplate
Just now watching this but yeah I agree on that 20 figure pack, mine didn’t even come with a kukri knife for Emile
That's an oof
I have one remaining droppod from when they were able to be opened up and were actually droppods and not boxes
Ohhh nice!!
I found an old minifig one of the original elites from the very first tank set, no back holes no extra parts no nonsense
Uh what? All the old ones had back holes...
Unfortunately, Mattel really seems to be shooting Mega in the foot, so to speak
The noble team falcon sweep set is so expensive these days. A minimum of $200 from scalpers when it retailed for $70. I hope they eventually re-release the set because Mega Construx is missing out on printing money
I agree
You still have Haunteds near you???
Most definally for me it will be both of the series heroes line on this vid. For the simple fact of the “distribution” and not counting one of them we got the “fakes” line 😵💫
The fact that S16 had the Fan Vote figure too made that hurt a bit more
This is a honestly a interesting list that I never thought how sets can be disappointing
It doesn't happen often
My main complaint (besides distribution) is the lack of "purely bad guys" sets.
There so many sets featuring only UNSC, but there are almost non featuring only Banished/Covenant or Flood figures, making army building for any of these three factions frustratingly hard, with terrible distribution making it pretty much impossible :(
Edit: Way too many Spartans!! If they have to put a good guy into every set at least make most of those instances Marines/ODSTs to at least give the bad guys a chance! There are probably more Spartans out there than Marines/ODSTs and Banished combined....
That is a fair point. I love getting more Spartans, so it doesn't annoy me much but I do understand that
The distribution for mega in recent years has been awful, I'm beyond lucky enough to have every set on this list. The falcon I almost missed by a minute and I was lucky enough to find 2 full sets of the pods, so I have one opened and one sealed, along with the case (not a full case just the box) I found at frank and sons. I really hope they fix these issues
I'm hopeful that Mega can find some way to fix things even with Mattel's poor handling
Man, I hope 2024 is a good year for Mega's distribution. The Mega section at my local Target has been relegated to a single cubic Foot of just Pokemon sets
I agree, mine is only Pokemon as well XD
@@DemarcationMedia It's so frustrating because there's so many new sets that look so good yet I never see them! God I wish they'd give us another year of remakes of old sets tbh like they did with Halo Wars, I'd love some remakes of the old Halo 4 sets like Orbital Banshee Blitz, or Containment Outpost Patrol but with the new Cyclops design
Ive checked walmart, target, and kroger and none of them carry any mega halo, only ever pokemon (which I do not care about) Any idea why these major distributors no longer carry Halo?
Because they stopped carrying all Halo. And they were struggling with theft
It sucks man, I managed to get the falcon and I now have a job to be able to afford things, compared to when I was a kid to spend money on sets but barely anything to be found online or in stores like alpha 9 or blind bags and the heroes line
It's basically the same situation, except instead of money being the issue, it's the product
i remember i try to ask you if the ODST drop pods or the hero's 18 weren't in store and it hurt when i heard they were gone and like the falcon i missed . ( I think Mattel should use Mattel creation to sell extra stock like the drop pods or have a batch orders to be ready to be made in huge demand and have poles to make people vote for set that should restock in Mattel creation .)
I sure hope they see the demand
8:43 that purple is from a halo 5 req thing right?
No...it's from Universe Series 1 blind bags
It's next to impossible to find mega constructs in the Midwest rn. Dollar general and targets no longer carry them in my area.
You really have to buy them online
I'm in Tennessee and they're pretty much impossible to find
I was so excited when those pods got announced and this is how I found out they're gone.
Agony.
😢 Yeah. It was a bad day when that was confirmed
Honestly at first i didn't like the phantom, but after awhile i now love it.
Fair enough! It still annoys the heck out of me but the figures are top tier
2:49 I will not stand for chopper takedown slander
XD To be fair, it's a solid set. It just needed different figures
I really hope mega drops Amazon and brick and mortar stores. Make a one month preorder window twice a year direct to consumer. Once they are profitable again we can consider stores again.
All my stores are just packed with Pokémon always :(
That would be a terrible way to run things. That would drive rarity even higher up
@@DemarcationMedia really? I suppose direct to consumer could pose issues but I haven’t been able to find anything in the wild for 4 years sadly. My region must be cursed 😭
@@albertoa.rodriguez-toro3277 Direct to consumer wouldn't be an issue, it would be doing limited preorders that would cause problems
It's way too early to be disappointed by lack of sets. Just because sets aren't leaked doesn't mean they aren't working on things
Mega didn't decide to stop COD. Their license ran out. Legally they cannot make any more.
They didn't try to renew it?

With Halo Universe, anything is on the table!
These were actually the best
In some aspects, yes
I’d agree that a lot of these are disappointing not because of their quality and build, but just the aspects surrounding their releases. I genuinely feel like I have seen less than 5 different releases of halo mega construx in my local stores in the past few years. It’s sad to see the distribution go to shit. I really hope a new Halo game can revive them.
If distribution hadn't been bad, this video would not have been a top 10
the most dissapointing ones were the UNSC boat and the Banished prisoner transports, because both of them never made it into the game. Sordid reminders of what could have been.
I don't think I've seen those
If I am gonna be honest, I feel like judging a set as disappointing by their distribution or something else not related to the actual set itself isn't a fair way to look at it.
You're not wrong. However, actually finding 10 sets that fit the criteria of being disappointing for the content is very very difficult.
The ONLY time I've ever seen S17 in person was when I didn't have a dollar to my name so I didn't get them. Thankfully I've done a lot better since and I've even gotten a pair of the falcon sweep but still don't have S17.
It's SO hard to find the real S17 online
I used to have some of the sets that mega had when i was younger and I've been thinking about getting some again would you recommend me getting any of sets or anything for someone seeing if they would like to collect these
The ODST Hive Exterminators would be a great spot to start. It's still around the $25 mark online which is good and the set is amazing. 4 of the best ODSTs ever and a pair of drones. It's perfection
