About the restaurant, that’s not restricted to the richest neighborhoods in São Paulo. That’s a standard restaurant, you find similar ones in many places in Brazil.
I'm from Sao Paulo, but I live in North Carolina US, my husband is American and we are planning a travel to Brazil very soon, I will take him to Chapada Diamantina in Bahia, plus I want him to see ' roça ' a very farm style of life... we are very excited, I think you may like to check this place as well. Please Adam make more videos, good job.
Hey! I live in the US but am from Chapada Diamantina, Bahia. My town is called Boninal, and I’m spending my summer break here. Recommend visiting Mucugê-such an adorable town around here! :))
It depends how you define "speaking" a language. I'm fluent in 4 languages with an ability to communicate in French which would be my 5th language. Aside from that, I have a pretty good head start on Arabic, Polish, Russian and Dutch which would get me to 9 languages if I improve my proficiency to be able to communicate at a higher level in those. I don't learn languages just to learn them - usually if I spot a culture & people who I really enjoy spending time with, I'll then develop a desire to learn their language. There's a very complex answer to your very simple question lol Thanks for watching!
😅😅 I still dream of a future where some mayor decides that it’s a good idea to bury all power cables, it ruins the “look” of any neighborhood to see a billion wires hanging.
Nice video, man! I wish I had the courage to film and vlog more of Brazil (or in general). Have you ever been to Fogo do Chão in Brazil? If so, how does it compare to this place?
I’ve been to Fogo de Chao in the US & Mexico. I know it’s probably not as good as the Brazilian locations but Barbacoa is way way better. I wouldn’t even compare the quality
Guedala,Pacaembu,Jd. Europa , Vila Olimpia, Itaim bibi,Jd Paulista,Av Brasil,Av Paulista entre outros bairros nobres e super luxuosos.
Started learning online & then whenever I met Brazilians in person, I’d practice with them. Lived in Brazil for some time too. That’s actually when I started posting videos on TH-cam 😅
How can these families live there and feel safe with such a threat of break ins? It’s nice to have security but i would worry about someone being over powered or paid off. Not that most ppl are like that but the opportunity does exist.
I remember a Brazilian restaurant like that in Queens, NY near the Science Museum close to 15 years ago, I think they closed down too for similar reasons, what a shame 😢
It's almost the same thing in every country. There is always a few rich and a big majority very poor. That's why a lot of people are poor in the first place, cuz the few rich take and keep almost all the wealth.
They definitely are rich I agree with that , but they also live in a prison .so I don't know Brazil should have a better wealth distribution, less corruption, better law enforcement otherwise looks wonderful .

My brother and I lived in São Paulo and attended Graded School in Mirumbí. You walked right past our homes and our classmates' homes! I love Brasil!
Bro you got me so hungry and so in love with Brazil ❤
Jardins, San Paulo 🇧🇷 is so great.
The restaurant you showed is so elegant and cosy, look like in Europe. Waiters and customers all white 👍🏻👍🏻
Fala muito bem o nosso portugues meus parabens 🇧🇷🌅 🇧🇷

Sounds awesome! Let me know if you have any good suggestions for checking out the “Roça” lifestyle because I’d love to do that too..

Hahah yeah those cables in the street aren’t the prettiest 😅

Also, my girlfriend, Priscilla Gosline, wrote a book How to be a Cariocs in Rio. A movie is now on Netflix based on her book!
I just came back from Rio from Canada and I will definitely come back! I will get her book! Obrigada :)
Adam bro, where did you learn fluent Portuguese? I’m not an expert, but it sounds very clear and on point. 😮
Started learning online & then whenever I met Brazilians in person, I’d practice with them.
Lived in Brazil for some time too. That’s actually when I started posting videos on TH-cam 😅
@@adamjmatheson Very Nice, I will work on this guidance
@adamjmatheson where did you live?
Yes, I agree..your portugês é muito bom!
How can these families live there and feel safe with such a threat of break ins? It’s nice to have security but i would worry about someone being over powered or paid off. Not that most ppl are like that but the opportunity does exist.
Agreed and security don’t look like ‘security’ = no uniform 😢
The security guard is only one thing. Many have dogs and extensive inside the grounds electronic surveillance.
I liked this video very much.
12:50 Cupim em inglês é Hump Steak
Thanks for the translation!
I was supposed to be in Sao Paulo this weekend but American Airlines ruined my vacation 😒
This video was great, I always wondered how it looked to be rich in Brazil… now I know, plus now I’m hungry from the steak😅
Nice video
Thanks!
They used to have one of those restaurant here on Long Island, NY, and they ended up because it was too expensive.
I remember a Brazilian restaurant like that in Queens, NY near the Science Museum close to 15 years ago, I think they closed down too for similar reasons, what a shame 😢
Adoro....
muito bom!
Thank you !
You need to visit São Bernardo do Campo 😂 Swiss Park/Terra Nova.
Great vídeo, but you talk a lot about security and criminality, not nice, we need visitors, we need tourists..
Looks like Hancock Park in LA. São Paulo is the economic capital of Brazil.
❤❤ top

54 is pretty expensive for an all you can eat it's similar to hear in nz though
Vídeo muito interessante.
muito bom
50 dollars all you can eat is very standard all over Europe. Not expensive at all
Was alcohol 🍷 like wine included in the all you can eat price?
lugar lindo
What's the time limit at the restaurant. 😂?
❤❤❤❤❤❤
bbbq would be at least 100 in LA

Not much different than many area’s across the world, you have the haves, and the have nots. It’s nothing new among civilization.
Maybe a rich neighborhood, but the favelas have better views, just my opinion
Stupid opinion, u have ever been in a favela?
Yes totally true
There are not only favelas in the hills of Brazil
😮😮😮😮😮
I hate seeing the lack of education of these ppl… they interrupted him while filming and he gave money because he thought he was in danger.
this is not the richest neighboorhood the richest one you culdnt even enter
Muito bom
Muito bom 😮
