Mate, don’t know if you’re gonna read this and if you’ll remember me. I’m the asian bloke that spoke to you just as we stepped out of the airplane in Sao Paulo. What you’ve done here is far beyond a doco on Jaçanã. You gave these people something they never get, recognition. Someone from the outside that sees them for who they are and not for where they live. I can guarantee this is one of the few times they met someone who just trusted them with a camera, spoke to them eye to eye, to the point the language barrier didn’t get in the way. Glad you didn’t cut short the soccer match, to them be seen by the world doing something they love meant the world. God bless you.
It was an honor to welcome you here to the community my brother God bless your life greatly come back we will welcome you with open arms God bless your life greatly you really are a man 🙌❤️🔥🙏
Man, they don't have much these kids but look at the smile on all their faces. They have something so special that I think in this society has lost - connection, community and belonging. This was one of my fav episodes. Thank you for sharing this Spanian.
Not got their heads buried in phones. They play & run free, smiling. Like I used to play as a child. Coming home at dark, or mum coming to park looking for me. 70’s & 80’s ruled……They got no distraction & happy.
I'm Living in Australia for about 5 Years so far and I'm from São Paulo and also I came from a place like this, but different Neighborhood, different place, but same problem. I've worked very hard to save money to come here and I'm really grateful because now I can support my mom, without this opportunity my life could be different in Brazil!!!
i like Spanian as a person but come on man his travel vlogs or whatever you call them are prolly the worse out of the lot of them or near to it, who communicates through a translator on your phone lol and the music sucks
As a child growing up in England I loved football and I always loved Brasil. Roberto Carlos, Cafu, Dunga, Rivaldo, Emerson and of course R9 (the real Ronaldo) I was always intrigued by the Brazilian style of play and the stories I heard about them growing up in poor places spending their lives playing football in the streets. Watching this made me appreciate my life so much more and it made me wish I could go and help these people. I will try not to complain as much in future. You really opened my eyes with this video Spanian, I’d say it’s the best video you’ve ever done to date.
Hope you are doing ok? Addiction is definitely a difficult road. Recovery is possible. Depression makes it harder. Recovery can be done. I struggle with anxiety and am in recovery. Be safe. It sounds selfish but focus on yourself and your needs to get better.
This is by far one of the best Into the Hood videos you've made. Such a dangerous place but the children were so happy and innocent. It's amazing what God can do to change people's lives. Thank you so much for making this content. ❤
I haven't missed a video in 2 years, and I have to say, this one is the rawest and most heart felt yet. What a community to welcome you unannounced, those kids bought joy to my heart, it was just so real and honest. Keep this up, your doing things that no one else is doing and its all quality. 😊
Great video, im from Argentina and the situation here is not very far from what you see in brazil. Its great to have someone like you to show this to the world- much love.
Mate, you're an absolute true legend! Frenchie here who's been living in Melbourne for over 14 years. The way you've been showing the world has been nothing short of being mesmerising. Jesus is King Brother
Seeing the coach advise those kids to stay on the right path was so touching. They had some proper skills and hope some of them realise their dreams and make it big some day! Maybe they'll remember their first time in front of a camera, held by some Aussie bloke.....
This was beautiful Span' , I'm from South Africa and we have basically the same struggles as Brazil. This people has beautiful hearts and they are so happy and I pray that God May Bless them with much more. God Bless you Span'
This may be your best tour yet, mate. The positive attitude you bring, and the love of Jesus is huge. Much love and respect, bro 👊 Watching from the Pacific NW Canada 🇨🇦
I have the utmost respect for you showing the places you travel in such a raw and realistic manner. Always waiting for that new in the hood upload, absolutely killer as always 👌
After travelling through Brazil for 9 months in total, I felt and saw a lot of heartache for the people of the country, those in the favelas I mostly. However in my experiences they are the kindest, most humble, happy & giving people you will meet, thanks for shining a light on their struggles, yet they always still have faith in God, gratitude & hope. This country will always hold a very special place in my heart. 🇧🇷🙏🏼💚… God bless them all. Thanks Spaniard, full respect right here! It has to be seen to be believed & appreciated. 💚💙💛
It makes you realise how lucky and fortunate some of us are. When Spanian was checking out the new settlement and block of land seeing those houses built and being so small blew my mind. Countries that have heaps of love and minimalistic views on life when literally they have nothing.
This guy is an inspiration for me! I'm currently trying to end my drug addiction. Late at night when I can't sleep and im thinking about using, often I turn to a Spanian video for an alternative.
Bro, I can’t believe you were in São Paulo, I saw my house when you went to Tucurivi just on the other side of the road and I’m living in Melbourne now. Hope you’d had a safe trip over there. People are friendly. Next time I could take to the favelas on the east side. Amazing video my G.
Exactly, I’m from Brazil (Rio) and been living in AUS for almost 2 years and in every place here I’ve been to that’s referred to as “sketchy/ghetto/hood” I was like WTF dude, this place is literally GOOD (not looking down on those in need here, its just that my reference is completely broken)
You know a true hood . Thanks for taking your time bro Brazil is not for amateurs . And you brought light into the lives of these people that will that about this moments for ever ! God bless you

Amazing episode Spanian. Back in the day when I played Futsal indoor Soccer we had a Brazilian coach who we invited to come and coach our Victorian team from Brazil. I remember talking to him about life in Brazil and this episode reminded me of that chat. Just incredible to see these kids in Brazil the way they live and play soccer and become champions. I thing he told me that I never got out of my head was that the kids in some areas didn’t have soccer balls so each kid will bring a pair of socks and roll all the socks up into one ball. Broke my heart listening to my Brazilian coach with some of the stories he told me. Brought back memories thanks Spanian keep up the good work brother.
I am brazilian from São Paulo and I'm an 100% sure Aus is a paradise no matter which situation. Jaçana is not as dangerous as Paraisopolis, Heliopolis and others. I love to see Spanian came to my home country to show a bit if ours culture and cousins, but I wish one day, he would comeback and show goodness of it as well. Thanks Spanian.
This was one of my most favorite episodes, the smiles on the kids faces the hopes and dreams you can see they all have regardless of their reality, Thankyou Spanian .
just started watching Spanian and I got to say, these videos are such eye openers, from the talks to the eats, to the hoods. These videos are probably some of the best content on the entire youtube platform for real.
One of, if not THE, best into the hoods! Reminds me of my trip to a part of South Africa. Kids there where happier and more polite than any of the little fucks back home! Great work, Spanian!
It's the people living with near to nothing that have the humblest of hearts. Thank you to the people of Brazil for opening your world 🌎for us to see. Great content Spanian 👌🏾 I live in a bad suburb of Darwin Australia but seeing these places makes me realise how lucky we are. The young soccer kids and coaches are inspirational. Where world champions are born and created, much love to you all, dream big kids.
My mates dad is from there and had to go back because his dad was in hospital. First night at the hospital he comes outside and the rental car doors been broken into. This is like the main hospital too
You have levelled up massively recently! Been following you for a while now, and let me tell you, your content really good bro!! No where else to go for such content but your channel! Keep up the good work
The hospitality from Brazil despite being so poor is amazing. You think spanian would get treated like this in Mexican hoods or carribean hoods no chance !! One of the best into the hoods episode ever !!
Adlay you are showing another part of the world the most people don't even think about. Keep up the grind my friend, doing spectacular as always with your amazingly kind soul. Take care brother!
Thankyou for sharing Spanian, this was epic to watch, I have never seen such giving hearts, and the hope that the children have is immense, and that death stairs is so out of it! I’m glad you were safe with your new friend! And meeting his family, that bought a relief to me, I am beside myself from watching this Spanian, what beautiful mankind you met in Brazil, I love their hopeful hearts❤🎉
Well done on another great eye opening vid Spanian. Bringing the struggles from all walks of life makes us think of how granted we take it in Oz. Very humbling vid for me personally and a reality check.
When you expressed your love for Jesus Christ..So awesome Spanian...almost teared up💯💯💯🙏🙏🙏 Praise Jesus for his power in Brazil..I will being praying for Brazil..That man's testimony of Christ was awesome💯💯💯
I thought that the Columbian Into the Hood was the Best so far and Spanian is Like Hold My Beer and Drops this one ! Loved it best into the Hood yet well done
It's beautiful that your sharing these stories with the world. Just an idea, but maybe part of what you can do is see if theres ways to fundraise for these groups, plenty of us watching would be willing to donate to these angels. Will be tricky because some of the countries may have their own barriers to organise donations but seeing the last 2 guys do what they do, makes you appreciate how much we have here in Aus.
Wow this is by far my favourite vlog from you Spanian! You literally took us on a journey and it’s really cool to see how that couple is helping people with the little they have and also that guy helping the kids with soccer so they can stay off the streets. Good stuff absolutely loved it❤️
Spanian I’ve been following you since the beginning from the UK 🇬🇧 your some boyoo!! Your content is unreal and not faked you can tell your from the hood and one of the boys from back in the day. Absolute respect 🫡 to your sir for going into the favellas, big balls need a wheel barrow to carry 😅 when are you coming to the UK 🇬🇧??? Come to Newcastle brother we have Bruno Gumar’es who is Brazilian 🇧🇷 and joeLinton who play for our local team Newcastle United. There is lots of similarities in My city Newcastle to where you live in the suburbs around your block brother please come to the UK 🇬🇧
Couple things I took from watching this video was 1st no matter the situation these kids and people live in, the presence of our lord and saviour is still there 🙏🏽 and 2nd although they are living in very poor slums which is a lot more dangerous than our hoods in Australia, England or America the love is real and very much alive in these communities and the kids are not consumed by phones, tablets, tv’s etc! Solid episode uso 🔥🙌🏽
Brah! Best episode ever! I know it's not much in the grand scheme of things but have you considered helping those kids out by donating or even championing something to build them a proper football pitch? "Spanian Stadium" certainly has a ring to ir!
Praise God Brother ! The very best video ever on your channel . In the midst of poverty great people you meet . All of us worldwide should be grateful to have a roof over our head and food on the table. Baptized in the morning Married in the afternoon ! God is Great !
You may not realise how much you just did for those people but I’m sure you realise how much they did for you. You felt it. We all felt it. Great work brother.
@rayssataral28 Ah, that's a shame. If you can find a way to accept donations, I'm sure you would get a lot of help You have a big heart, and it's clear your work means a lot to you.
What an episode very emotional 😢😢😢10/10 the episode had alot of emotional content and the language barrier didn't matter, one if tge best episodes spanian has done so far. When the kids where following him you get a vibe he is blessed by the gods.
thank you spanian i love this type of content. you are a super dope journalist. and you show a side of the world that just amazes me. i hope for more and above all are glad you are safe at the same time. excellent
Listen, those kids, even with as slummy as their place of living looks like, they are all good kids with a lot of life ahead. I hope they all get to where they want. You were randomly gifted to me on my feed, and I have been binge watching your videos'. Thank you. I also love how just real and raw you are. No extra layers, just life.
I havent seen all of the Into the Hoods, yet - but this one was my favorite thus far! Even in the slums, there can be so much life and beauty! Thank you for bringing us into the slums of Sao Paulo!
great episode. the girl who taught herself english from bits and pieces seems like she could be a very positive and powerful example for her community.
Watching this is very humbling, thank you for shedding light on all parts of the world that have to adapt with their surroundings not by choice but by force of nature! These children, people and families still find ways to smile and that’s so rewarding. You’re doing so good Spanian ❤
As a Portuguese 🇵🇹 I don’t remember crying with a documentary born in Europe and sometimes complain about small stuffs on my life is just ridiculous. Now as a father seeing that kids smiling and spread the Jesus Cristo words with just a flip flops and a ball made me cry and touch right on my Heart ❤️. I allways Gonna Respect and Gonna love not only Brazilian people but specially the Brazilian people . ❤️🫶🇵🇹🇧🇷
to even think that a country that struggles mentally & physically, they never forget who God is☝🏽. The love they have for Jesus Christ is beyond anything💯. Good to see people making changes for their people & country. It was good to see the true side & not of the media of how bad things were there in that country. We are ONE☝🏽, God bless those people & thank you for sharing your experience on this other side of their world spanian💯🤝🏾
Amazing episode! These people are fantastic! You are so blessed to get to have such an experience. I hope your exposure has brought help to these people.
At the end of the part where you filmed the outskirts of Sao Paulo, showing the beginnings of new suburbs, you said that you could be just as happy living there as you are back home in Australia. Brazilians are a happy people. And the poorer people are, the more generous and welcoming they tend to be. Seeing the Brazilian style churrasco (BBQ), the shops operating out of shaks, the houses looking inviting with verandas and their doors open. No police!!! Lots of trees! I can see what you mean.
I was going to say the same. What a kind, beautiful woman
Yeah I agree, she was a good soul
These kids have nothing but you can tell they’re truly happy when they’re playing soccer. It really is beautiful

Man, they don't have much these kids but look at the smile on all their faces. They have something so special that I think in this society has lost - connection, community and belonging. This was one of my fav episodes. Thank you for sharing this Spanian.
Absolutely what I was thinking.

The poorer the places I've ever been, the bigger the smiles. Community is everything. Hyper-individualism is a crisis.

Wow indeed. This one made me smile a lot and seriously got chills when they gave you the shirt. It's amazing how generous people with nothing can be.
Young woman at end spoke beautifully. Really enjoyed this. Hugs to all in vlog, thank you all for sharing your world. Thanks Span. 🌻🇦🇺
Wow. Powerful video. One of the best into the hood so far hands down.

By far your best episode yet mate, well done and congratulations on everything you are achieving.
What exactly is your magical skywizard doing to help these people, or Africa, or Gaza, or any other thing? Nothing. No magical skywizards exist.
Thanks!
Brah! Best episode ever!
I know it's not much in the grand scheme of things but have you considered helping those kids out by donating or even championing something to build them a proper football pitch?
"Spanian Stadium" certainly has a ring to ir!
This had me in tears several times. Happiness is in the small things it seems.
Last into the hood was fkn insane Spanian blessing us with some good content rn
Praise God Brother ! The very best video ever on your channel . In the midst of poverty great people you meet . All of us worldwide should be grateful to have a roof over our head and food on the table. Baptized in the morning Married in the afternoon ! God is Great !

You may not realise how much you just did for those people but I’m sure you realise how much they did for you. You felt it. We all felt it. Great work brother.
Rayssa, I’m so proud of you.
This girl is my best friend, wonderful!
💜🦋💙
Vou chorar...obrigado, Guxta💜
@@rayssataral28 Are you the girl translating at the end? It would be good if we can donate to help your community.
@@SilvioManfredDante yes, I am! But I don't have the information for that, sorry!
@rayssataral28 Ah, that's a shame. If you can find a way to accept donations, I'm sure you would get a lot of help
You have a big heart, and it's clear your work means a lot to you.
No extra layers, just life.
spanian picked the right guy to help him with the tour, hope he blessed him with tons of cash
This is a beautiful, emotional and jarring video all in one.
Spot on mate well done to you and your editor.
Spanian representing australia 👊👊🇦🇺
No fear
I havent seen all of the Into the Hoods, yet - but this one was my favorite thus far! Even in the slums, there can be so much life and beauty! Thank you for bringing us into the slums of Sao Paulo!
Every episode is better than the previous one. Thanks brother. 😎
great episode. the girl who taught herself english from bits and pieces seems like she could be a very positive and powerful example for her community.
That women at the end what a soul and what a treasure to that community.
❤
Love the videos that u post spanian it really opens ur eyes too how other people live in the world
to even think that a country that struggles mentally & physically, they never forget who God is☝🏽.
Na Austrália tem a mesma coisa e até pior é só pesquisar, btolado, vir-lata!
