I'm from Brazil, so I can tell you this: Be aware of flirting with girls in communities like this (even when you're purely being friendly), especially inside the favelas. You never know if they're engaged or dating someone important or even if they have a relative who wouldn't appreciate seeing them with a stranger at a bar while they're working. You don't want to get into trouble simply for asking to kiss them on the cheek. There are real stories and their end is not funny. I'm not saying it's 100% of the cases but I wish I could say something different than this, but it's just a warning.

It could be something as silly as bumping into a member holding a drink in his hand. But This shows a real peaceful side and a almost heart warming side of the favelas. Its easy to forget normal citizens are put into truck tires and tied to them as they set them on fire.
@spaceballs4203 not always, the leader only decides the direction of the gang. And he does hold a lot of power within the gang but you have to remember that the favelas do not care who does and doesn’t die. This is my own personal understanding of it but idk.
This is so true. They have zero respect for life. That's the problem, a life has little to no value. They shoot people over nothing, happened twice here in my village in 3 years time. Those communities are a huge sign that our state failed miserably on ensuring a safe environment for people, specially in such important city like Rio.

as a brazilian this guy has no idea in how much danger he was in. Its all a good time and laughs until he does one thing that offends them and its over for him. It could be something as silly as bumping into a member holding a drink in his hand. But This shows a real peaceful side and a almost heart warming side of the favelas. Its easy to forget normal citizens are put into truck tires and tied to them as they set them on fire.
But he was with the leader no? Wouldn't he have intervened if anything bad happened?
@spaceballs4203 not always, the leader only decides the direction of the gang. And he does hold a lot of power within the gang but you have to remember that the favelas do not care who does and doesn’t die. This is my own personal understanding of it but idk.
This is so true. They have zero respect for life. That's the problem, a life has little to no value. They shoot people over nothing, happened twice here in my village in 3 years time. Ending a life here is the equivalent of beating up someone in Europe. They kill you as easy as that you get beaten up in Europe, life means nothing to them. So be careful! And stay out and away!
@@jacksonspence8627Nah the leader has to be a big thing, you making it sound like he is just another normal member of the gang. As he said in the video everyone knows he's good cause he's with the leader. Also he was explaining how everyone was interactive with the leader throughout the video.

They are severely downplaying it when they insinuate betrayers are ‘dead’.
‘Dead’ is just the last stage of pure brutal torture, usually dismemberment and decapitation (including removal of the heart, if the subject is from a rival gang) and/or setting the trapped person ablaze.
These are common practice and, with not much research, you can actually SEE it in videos on the internet they proudly record in order to send a message to other potential traitor and rival gangs. It’s utterly inhumane.

As a Brazilian American who hasn’t visited since a child, you did an amazing job representing the darker yet beautiful side of Brazil that the media doesn’t cover. Thank you.
As a brazilian i can say there's nothing beautiful about it. You gringos should stop worshipping that trash culture.

At least the kids had a fun evening and probably made their entire week or month. Kudos for doing that to them. I'm rarely sentimental but it made me shed a tear.
Definitely made there entire week and you don’t have to worry about them being stingy , they have nothing but eachother out there .
He made their month?! Lol those kids do this everyday. Kind of a racist take bro. Just because they met an american their lives were improved 😂

Hey Arab, I just finished watching your video on the uncut because screw TH-cams guidelines and gotta say love the content bro you do some crazy thing and bring a whole new perspective on the lives of those the media doesn't want us to care for. Keep up the amazing work much love, and stay safe, bro. Keep up the great vids can't wait for the next one 🙏🫡😆
what was in the uncut version that wasn't here?
Truly the best TH-camr on the platform right now. The way that Arab is able to take us to locations we would never be able to see, and yet also give an open perspective on their culture and customs is not only beautiful and entertaining, but powerful. We are in the age where we are able to see the world with open censorship and we should accept it as such. Thank you for bringing light to all of the communities you do, we love you, Arab!
His clout chasing off poor black people. Why don't he go embarrass his own people go show the world how broke the Egyptians are go show the war zone your people created for them selves instead of going around to all the poor black places and exposing / embarrassing us.
Yo, this video is the real deal when it comes to experiencing the vibrant favela parties in Rio de Janeiro! As a Brazilian local, I can totally vibe with the energy and excitement you captured. It's like being right back in the midst of those incredible beats and infectious dance moves. By the way, I gotta give props to you for bringing the authenticity and sharing these hidden gems with the world
Being a local guide in Rio, I've had some epic encounters myself, like chilling with famous TH-camrs like Ace Live and Czech in Effect when they were exploring our city. It's awesome to see how Rio's rich culture and unforgettable parties connect people from all over. Keep spreading those good vibes and showing the real side of Rio's favela scene. This video is pure fire, my friend
The childs part was lovely ❤❤❤
Dude, I'm Brazilian, and I must say bro, you're very crazy but this content is true gold hahahahah, I could never imagine myself in this situation, congratulations man, i'm sure every Brazilian that watched this laughed AF😂😂😂
