I have a 2022 Jeep 392 pull behind my motorhome. No issues until now with 26K miles. Started driving it went 20 miles and 4WD service light appeared. Took it the dealer when they tried to move it binded up completely Even with transfer case in neutral which scares me greatly if it would have done anything like that pulling it. They are replacing transfer case and control module it's been there 2 weeks now. I'm probably done with this unit!
I purchased an AEV 20th Anniversary Rubicon 392 in March ‘24 and started having TC issues at 6,500 miles. The 4WD MIL service light has appeared 3 times now. There is a new TSB 08-162-24 out for ‘21-‘23 392’s to address the C-140E-00 DTC which is what mine is showing. I’m going to the dealer on 8/7/24. Hopefully they will replace the TC motor actuator which the TSB recommends if reprogramming the DTCM doesn’t work.
@@2000viperrt The dealer called back and said they will be performing a DTCM update and replacing the TC motor actuator which was defective. They checked the TC fluid and all is good with the TC at this time.
No TC issue on my 392. Running 37s on 2.5 in lift. Wheeling all of the time in CO (literally everyday since i live next to off-road hills) and Moab twice. 44K miles on my 2021
Jeep is currently replacing the transmission in my 392, after trying two valve body replacements. The dealership has had my 392 since Good Friday waiting on Stellantis to fix this 392 Wrangler the right way. Just wonder how many other Wrangler 392 owners are having transmission problems.
@2kviper877 Yes, the dealership has been awesome. Stellantis has been the ones dragging their feet. In the 8 weeks I've had 3 different customer service reps through Jeep Wave.
And yes the Fox ats is badass I have it on my jl392 and got 24 different settings of dampening which is ridiculously cool. I have also a Metal Cloak drag link/tie rod, rcv’s which I think you would really enjoy
I think the whole transfer case issue is blown out of proportion if you want to think it is, exactly what you said you only read/hear about the people with a problem if you search for it and you can do that with any car. Ive had 3 jeeps total but two have the same transfer case which is the MP3022 In my JT Mojave and the JL392 I do drive around town in 2WD and obviously 4auto/4hi and low when I’m wheelin but I put 21k on my jl392 romping around on 38s

Nice to see people that actually use their rigs! I envy you guys with mountains close. It's 12 hours to " The Mountains" where I am.
