What extended warranty did you get? Mine is about to reach 36 months and I want to get one. I only have 13k miles on it.
I got the mopar extended warranty. Have to make sure it's the Mopar one. And there are different levels. Get the top level. Covers rental car etc.
I beat mine up pretty good but I try to keep it clean as well especially after swamping. Most of Florida and especially So. Florida is limestone and the "Lye" that leaches out of it is highly corrosive. It attacks the metals almost immediately, and will discolor and eat away at parts. And it destroys stuff really fast. That and the sand is " Sugar sand", super small grains so it gets into everything as well. I have a loud clicking sound coming from underneath the Jeep now only in reverse, so I'm bringing it in for warranty work next week. After it's fixed I'll install the tazer.
You Florida guys might be hurt at the idea of beating your jeep up and parking it wet and dirty for long periods of time. But from a nor cal guy that’s how you represent what you have when it starts back up. I daily a 2022 wrangler 392 with 31k miles on it and your right I could’ve bought a c7 zo6 and modded the piss out of it but I’m glad I didn’t. I’m looking forward to your Tazer JL Mini review in 2wd and hear your thoughts and opinions.
You should get the JL Tazer Mini
Got it, but waiting to install it until after I have some warranty work done.
@ oh nice ! Yeah you’ll really enjoy the donuts in 2WD just wait. What warranty work you having done ?
Best jeep that they every made....
You would love the Tazer JL mini
Thumbs up turtle 👍
My 2024 392 was over $100k and now the rumors are CDJR to drop prices by 20to 30%. Keep yours, then buy new in 2025, assuming Jeep continues the Final Edition as they stated last year.
I paid around $84k out the door. Dealers are offering me $50k with 70k miles on it in less then 3 years. Sickening that the dropped so far. I've had 13 Jeeps. The one previous to this was a 2016 Hard rock- top of the line in 2016. I paid $48k for it. drove it for 80k miles and traded it in on the 392. They gave me $43k for it!
@@2000viperrt They took about $9K off of sticker when I bought it, but I am now seeing more people mentioning drastic price cuts starting to happen. There are deals to be had, but I'd keep your current one if you can.
Insane….
I’ve had a bunch of fast cars I used to daily, like CTS-v, Audi RS3, Camaro ZL1 etc and this Jeep is my favorite best sounding one I’ve ever drive. It’s so much fun and daily drive it every single day. I have to; just going down to the store is fun
I have the 2021 392 jeep wrangler.... best machine ever made. I have my transmission and engine tuned by (SSI) Southern Speed performance tuning and its incredible. I use a catch can also and yes they do work. WIth the tune my MDS is disabled 0 to 60 = 3.9 seconds. Like you I will never sell mine....ANother great video...
3.9 is absolutely flying!!! Where are they located?
I’ve got a 21, and I can’t agree more. It is the best jeep I have ever owned. My wife thinks it is the best riding jeep also. I don’t think I will get rid of my 392, it just keeps putting smiles on my face every time I drive it.
I'm at 70k miles and still smiling!
I have a 2022 Jeep 392 pull behind my motorhome. No issues until now with 26K miles. Started driving it went 20 miles and 4WD service light appeared. Took it the dealer when they tried to move it binded up completely Even with transfer case in neutral which scares me greatly if it would have done anything like that pulling it. They are replacing transfer case and control module it's been there 2 weeks now. I'm probably done with this unit!
Wow scary indeed! catastrophic failure. hope they get it Straight for you.
Appreciate the tips! There's nothing like driving a 392 is there? This is my 4th Wrangler and it is by far the most capable off-road vehicle I've owned.
The fun factor is ridiculous. Off and on road! Enjoy that beast!
Hey Brother! Great info, the weather has been a bit unsettled lately and I have my hands full with other things. I totally agree with checking ALL factory fluids. I'm actually going to do mine here in just bit. I wonder if it would be an issue running actual gear oil in the transfer in stead of ATF?
people have used gear oil and said it screwed things up. My t-case fluid is filthy after only 5 or 6k miles of usage. My new video is being posted shortly. I show my fluid when draining. It's black. Never have I had to change fluid so quickly
So I just bit the bullet, and picked up a '22 392 XR, Firecracker Red, yesterday. Initial thoughts, LOVE,LOVE, LOVE it!! We MUST be neighbors, I recognize 80% of the places in this vid. I'm 60% finished with my new 5000sf shop in north Naples. Hit me up if you need a hand with YOUR Jeep.
Distinction applied is where you can get the paint matched cowl. I got one for mine. Not super expensive and it looks like it should have come that way from the factory. You won’t regret it. Thanks for the update on your 392. I’m waiting on a used one, now the prices are coming down. Looking for an XR version maybe after the first of the year.
America is built on protesting Don’t ever forget that!
No problem with properly run protests. Problems with douche bags who block streets and think their need is more important than anyone else. Do it right or don't do it at all.
Glad you are still enjoying your 392. I have a 2021 of the same color, and thing that the 392 is also the best jeep I have ever owned. I just have about 45K miles, but still enjoy it everyday.
I daily mine and it never gets old!
Thanks. really love this Jeep!
Yup, it's a great channel for 392 owners. I have a blk '21 with 37s and a little over 27k miles. So far, the only annoying thing i noticed is the metal clanking sound coming from the exhaust area ( kind of resemblance to a timing belt issue), which disappears as soon as the engine warms up, wierd... I haven't asked the dealership about the issue yet. Wondering whats going on ... keep on✌️ jeeping, 🍻
@@millennialfalcon7291 sound is normal. It's the different metals in the exhaust heating up at different rates. As long as it goes away when warmed up. 1st time I heard it I freaked. Lol.
@2KV-iper Thanks for responding, I love your videos. Honestly, that weird cricket sound winds down, but it becomes more silent than completely gone. It's kind of embarrassing for a Scat pack to start with the sound like that. I hope it's not differential, but I'll get it done, whatever the case may be ... I wish it was a heat shield issue, but it's a stubborn little problem. Cheers 🍻
Great video
Thanks!!!
Jesus Christ 11 minutes in and you still haven’t said what the phuccing problem is
100% agree. I sold my TJ to buy my ‘17 JKU. I loved the TJ but it just wasn’t set up for road trips. Dependability, fuel economy and comfort for three played a part in my decision. Things happened after that, and now I’m in my second Gladiator (my 5th Wrangler based Jeep). The longest trips I’ve taken have been The Keys and Gatlinburg. The rest are local (Central Florida) trips. Open air on a back country road is a feeling that can’t be beat. Cheers!
couldn't agree more that road tripping in a Jeep is awesome. Did a 5 week trip out west and was able to live out of the Jeep (2024 Rubicon X) quite comfortably. But I got the 3L V6 and am very happy with my choice. Sorry, but the fuel costs on a 392 are way more than I care to live with.
I'd counter for one reason (at least with mine) . I have a 392 with a 4.56 gear. Sorry, as cool as you represent it to be, spinning RPMs way up at 80 MPH ain't cool. It ain't happy everywhere; you are wrong.
I'm in a Non Xr with stock 3.73 gears on 35s. So it makes sense in you're case. Are you on 35s ,37s, ?
I bought a used 2021 392. I’m not sure if mine is XR or not.
Non Xr came from the factory on 33" tires. Also there is a little extra trim piece that extends off the side of the fenders to cover a slightly wider tire. On the XR It sticks out about 1/2" on all fenders.
Good story. I can’t wait to road trip to and thru Florida. I hope to move there in a couple years. And maybe I’ll have a 392 by then. 👍🏻
One thing about living here, especially south of Tampa, is it takes 4 hours or so just to get out of state! And Pensacola is 9 hrs from me.
@@2KV-iper I’m hoping for the Tampa area. But we’ll see when it comes down to it. Thanks for the advice 👍🏻
Agreed - I love taking mine on a road trip. Another great video... I am from Florida and love going up to the mountains and doing whatever I want with it.
You should procharge it on low boost. I feel like that would be perfect for your style of driving and the jeeps setup
These motors arent set up for boost....recipe for disaster unless you forge the internals. Get this Jeep tuned turn off the MDS and feel the power. SSI Performance Group
@@warmeds2009 how about no more then 4 or 5 pounds of boost ?
good morning. you did insane trip. ;))
I would spend every day roadtrippng in my Jeep if I could!
I purchased an AEV 20th Anniversary Rubicon 392 in March ‘24 and started having TC issues at 6,500 miles. The 4WD MIL service light has appeared 3 times now. There is a new TSB 08-162-24 out for ‘21-‘23 392’s to address the C-140E-00 DTC which is what mine is showing. I’m going to the dealer on 8/7/24. Hopefully they will replace the TC motor actuator which the TSB recommends if reprogramming the DTCM doesn’t work.
Beautiful Rig!! Hope the get it straightened out for you! Leave an update when you get it fixed. And thanks for watching!
@@2000viperrt Will do. Thanks!
@@2000viperrt The dealer called back and said they will be performing a DTCM update and replacing the TC motor actuator which was defective. They checked the TC fluid and all is good with the TC at this time.
@@greghull3189 wow. Good luck! Hope that's the end of your issues.
Thanks for all the info. Found you on 392 forum.
A jag-wire dealer???
Yes the Jaguar dealership had lots of used sports cars for sale.
Great video, and beautiful Florida roads! Those back country roads are getting harder to come by with all the development happening.
If you were to get rid of it, get a 2024 392 XR and mod it. Or just mod the one you have would be cool to
I have the same jeep 392 and recently got it tuned. Its like having a new jeep again. I also in Florida and I changed my thermostat to 180 and had the fans tuned to come on sooner and it never goes above 188 now. I cant say enough good things about it....never selling mine.
horsepower gains?
@@2kviper877 Gains are about 30 but more on certain parts of the power band and I had the MDS disabled. The transmission tune really made a difference too. The way the power comes on is perfect. I have the non XR and 37" tires. - SSI Performance tuning Shawn Ellis
@@warmeds2009 local tuner?
@@2kviper877 No they are out of Californina... SSI performance Tuning. With the Diablo tuner you can do everything through email. I went with the Diablo I3 tuner with PCM swap to eliminate any downtime with the jeep. You wont be disappointed...Shawn Ellis is a perfectionist with his tunes and he replies to emails promptly.

Loser..so..grow up
Sell it to me when you're ready 👍🏽
😂😂
Fish?
What do you do for work ?
I work for a company that sells and services Siemens Medical equipment (MRI CT scanners X-ray etc).
@@2kviper877 wow that’s random sounds cool though
Why’s it flooded ?
This is Picayune Strand State Forest. parts of it (actually most of it) floods every year during rainy season. Some areas a few inches. some areas 4 or 5 feet. you need a swamp buggy to get around.
@@2kviper877 you need a swamp buggy to get around?
Nice!!
He been waiting for someone like you to come along ..lol😂
And someone will!
Big happy boi, are those egrets?
Yes. They love the bugs that get stirred up!
What’s the elevation where you live? And the non-XR is fine, get what you can afford at the time you find them available is my philosophy on the Wrangler 392’s because most people will take them apart and get new arms and lifts anyways BUT! I will say the 4.56 gears are kinda nice if you wanna run a 38 or bigger right from the show room floor
Agree. the lower gears are great for up-sizing tires. The things that make the XR "better" are not even noticeable on the street. Those upgrades are geared towards offloading.
@@2kviper877 I think you would really enjoy the features of the JL Tazer mini. Especially the rwd option is really loose in that sand you drive around on and it would be really fun. Plus you save your transfer case all that unnecessary use. Mind you, you can always through the vehicle back into awd at anytime
Thanks for the content!! It’s always appreciated by me, and those shifts are so crispy they always sound the same and fresh even after 55k miles
Where’s the wrangler 392 man? lol let’s see some wheelin
These short videos have to be in this format. Not wide enough for good wheeling vids. Off roading is for full screen and longer than 60 seconds.
@@2kviper877 ahhhh i see
Hello! Have you ever had any transfer case problems? Do you use the Tazer to force 2 wheel drive? Thanks in advance for the courtesy of a reply...........
Yes. check out this video. I go into the details. th-cam.com/video/5l6Udoe_AIQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PQdL5wlZLJqO-PKs I have a tazer but have not installed it yet so no, I am not running in 2 wheel drive.
