the father has been dragging his arse on getting a horse but got the boys their bikes quickly. always thought the bikes was more dangerous than a horse. then sure enough the son crashed & hurt himself. but then again he only got one daughter
@@rezyness They also have to factor in the PASTURE NEEDED for a horse. Bikes don't need pasture. Honestly, you people who keep screaming at them to buy Lily a horse need to just cool your jets! There are a lot more things to factor in for an ANIMAL than for a machine!!

I cried so hard seeing such a good daddy treating his little girl with so much love and respect, and open conversation about the future. Setting her up for success.
When I was in my mid 30s, I took my dad out for a meal and said, "This is our first time being out for a meal alone together. This is our first date." He said, "Is it really?" My dad never took time out to spend time with me and it hurt a lot, so I had to be the one to make the effort. You make it effortless and prioritized Lily today. That is very important to a little girl and special. She is blessed and I hope will grow up knowing she is loved by her father. I hope she had a wonderful birthday.
Fortunately/Unfortunately this is new, a wasn't thing at all for many not so long ago so you are not alone. But you are brave for taking first step and breaking that pattern in your generation.
What an absolutely lovely young lady she is, so mature, kind dilligent and I can just carry on. Never nagging or sulking for a horse, but patiently waiting and preparing

There’s no reason she couldn’t have a horse now, except her needs and wants aren’t valued. Why do the boys have a dirt bike? It’s just ridiculous.
@@claregibert2939 Because a horse is a living being with need of pasture they currently don't have yet and even though Lily is good with horses doesn't mean she is ready to have one of her own yet. Vet bills are expensive and they are renovating their house right now. Also Jonah and Jossiah are older and I am sure Lily is going to get her own horse when Justin and Rebecca decide she and the family is ready to take on such a big responsibility. As for the dirtbike, they sold it because of Jonahs hip and they deemed it too dangerous
You have to remember we as an audience don't know everything going on behind the scenes
I was 11 and my sister was 14 when we became the owners of our first horse! Of the animals we've owned, which are dogs, cats, chickens, and horses, I can tell you that horses are the simplest to care for and train! The key is understanding how they think and how their body works, which again, is quite simple! I can tell Lily is an ambitious gal and will be a wonderful horse owner! My sister and I actually have a TH-cam channel (which I'm commenting from) where we're sharing all about horse ownership for beginners from a natural and self-sufficient standpoint (yep, you can definitely do that in horse ownership too!), which Lily may enjoy and find helpful! -Rachel
